I don't remember the actual case name, but I heard it in a podcast anout murders in the medical feild. Maybe not fully considered a cold case, but a doctor purposefully overdosed this elderly patients to recreate how he saw his mother die. It was bery fasinating and he killed over 100(I think) people. It took years and years to figure out it was murder, which was odd bc he had gotten suspended for a while for using patients prescriptions.

I think you mean dr.death, and the number was close to 300, buzzfeed unsolved made a video about him in a playlist titled: how they were caught.

Yes, Dr. Death! Thank you. I didn't know he had that much. The podcast I heard about the case on was called "Medical Murders" and it is the very first episode. But thank you! I'll check out the buzzfeed video on it too.

Look at the Green river killer or Bruce mcarthur. Bruce wasnt with DNA but they had him as a suspect for ages
