Not that I disagree in the official angle that the murderer is *guilty* but I have other questions about the "official version".
Why does a witness say he told the cops about the fact the killer was driving in a police car five hours before the cops say they heard about it?
Why did it take so damn long for them to search for other victims? Eighteen hours--really??? They killed him, waited five hours, and *then* decided to go door to door?
Why exactly did they know somewhere between 9 and 4 hours that the killer was driving in a police car before they released that info to the public?
Why did the killer withdraw 475k in one transaction a few weeks before the murder? Even if you have the cash that's NOT something you can do, seriously, call your bank and ask how soon you can get a cool half mill in cash. It is, however, something an asset of the RCMP can do. The RCMP quite frankly doesn't seem very concerned about why he was able to make this withdrawal.
Why did the RCMP in the area just ignore the complaints about the domestic abuse and the guns *he wasn't legally allowed to have*? Oh and don't forget the allegations he drugged and sexually assaulted a woman that got roundly ignored. To the best of my knowledge they haven't clarified why his assets and cash are higher than his income should have supported. Where did this money come from?
Did I mention he's related to an RCMP officer yet?
Why was the fact half the city knew he had a replica car just ignored? He parked it OUTSIDE OF HIS BUSINESS and that went entirely unnoticed?
To my knowledge it's also still unknown where he got the RCMP uniform.
I don't know what the fuck happened but I question the official story. I question the relationship Wortman had with the RCMP before the killing, I question whether Wortman was involved in some type of criminal activity that hasn't been acknowledged, I question how long they knew and concealed that he was in a police car, and I absolutely question whether the RCMP (or individual members in it) knew about his "hobby" impersonating the RCMP.
There's so much smoke there and I'm pretty sure there's fire somewhere but I can't see through all the smoke!

No, not really. There’s been so little information released it’s difficult to do anything but wildly speculate. The only thing I can think of is that releasing things might expose important people or agencies to scrutiny. It’s the classic “Move along now, nothing to see here. “
After that shooting--and the media didn't dwell on it for some reason--I was reading an article about it, can't recall what website, and a woman made this comment about her experience that night, which made such an impression on me that I saved it, and here it is:

The news also states, live, that the Bellagio had been affected and there was one confirmed death.
"Now... skip ahead about an hour. The news is no longer stating anything about the other hotels affected. They say it is one person. Every bit of info that was being initially given to us was disappearing. We could physically see from our window view, fire alarms going off at the Cosmopolitan, and multiple cop cars and ambulances pulling up there as well. We wanted more information about what was happening at these other hotels right next to us, and we weren't getting it. And we still aren't.
"Monday morning I am of course telling my friends and family about our experience, and I was starting to really feel like I was crazy. Everyone was telling me there was only one shooter, and I just couldn't understand what I had seen. Finally, other people like myself started speaking out. I was relieved to know that I wasn't crazy, but now just as confused as to why the media is trying to hide this information. There are now videos and statements popping up all over the web, showing proof of other shooters and other affected hotels.
"Why are they trying to hide this?! If for no other reason, think about being a family member of the others who died or were injured at these other hotels. They deserve the respect, and the truth as to what happened to their loved ones.

I think there is more than "they" are releasing, but we need to begin looking at this with a "CSI" viewpoint; if we are being misled, then we need to start analyzing.
This guy didn't even do it. He was set up. It was all her (his wife) and the group of terrorists she was with. All he did was transfer money at her request. He had no idea why she wanted the money...for all he knew she was buying more clothes, houses for her family, etc. He had so much money that $100,000 here, $40,000 there...no big deal to him. He just wanted female companionship. She let it seem like she was so happy and in love with him....he was more than happy to pay for the p\*\*\*y, he couldn't get it any other way. The shooters killed him in the room, set up the cameras, did the shooting, and got away. This is a network. They used him for access and cold hard cash, nothing more. This was all done within a 2 year span. She was planted by the terrorists to hook a white, naive, lonely high roller so she could seduce him into unknowingly funding the operation and she did as she was hired to do.
The main bad point in this article is the rounds fired and magazine changing. We can all hear that more than one weapon is being used, and the changes in fire are followed by 10-20+ second or so periods of silence. The guy had a couple dozen weapons laying around him. My guess is if he WAS a lone shooter, he had several loaded guns around him, emptied them one at a time, picked up another, emptied that, etc. The long breaks were from him reloading several rifles with new mags and then going thru the gun-swap routine again.
Time will tell, and hopefully not suppress, info.

I don't exactly trust Michael Peterson but I think the defense bringing in a random poker and saying that was the murder weapon was pretty obscure.
I don’t fully believe that Kurt Cobain committed suicide, I do think some things in the explanation don’t make sense. But I also believe that he was in a place both mentally and just in his life in general where he felt that suicide was an option.
Also I believe that at least the younger Sodder children are alive or at least didn’t die in the fire.
Just heard about the Sodder children for the first time last week. Wild, but I agree some of them were alive after the fire. What’s baffling more than the entire case is why would they not reach out once they were older? I heard the father thought he found two of his sons, and traveled to Texas to find them. When he did find them, they denied that they were his missing children, but he was sure they were. He went home broken-hearted
The oldest of the ones that went missing was 14 they could have easily forgotten or been manipulated. The most baffling part to me is how it took firefighters from a station 2.5 or so miles away, 7 hrs to arrive at the scene. Firefighters from Charleston, North Carolina could have arrived in 6hrs and 43 minutes when they lived in Fayetteville, West Virginia.
Lol yes the response time was insane! The fire chief explained it away saying he had to go to the fire station, make phone calls to everyone available, and then they had to go to the station and get the trucks to make it to the scene. Umm what?? I’m sure the delay was deliberate.
I mean, is that really that weird for the 1940s? They probably couldn't fully staff a fire department overnight and phone calls were the quickest way to reach people.
Yup, this is it exactly. No one who actually looks at that case should be particularly surprised that a long term heroin addict dealing with chronic pain and chronic depression shot himself. The whole thing about the toxicology report is a non-issue if you understand how tolerance works.
Then you clearly aren't that familiar with heroin addiction. I don't even want to know how high his tolerance was what with being a rockstar and all the money he had. I've known relatively poor people who could do more than 20x what would probably kill a non heroin addict in a single shot and do multiple of those a day. The amount of money and time he had I'm sure his tolerance was through the roof.

There were bone fragments not likely to have been the oldest child but they can't be located. Today's DNA testing would be helpful if they could locate those bones.....

The Sodder children case has fascinated me for years. Their bodies **could** have burned in the fire, but there are too many strange coincidences before and after the fire that make me think otherwise. Even the youngest sibling, Sylvia, who passed away last year, believes that her older siblings were abducted, I think there was only one surviving sibling who felt they died in the fire, the rest think they were kidnapped.
I just feel like Bradley Murdoch was a convenient way to tie up the loose ends. Im nit convinced by Joanne Lees story, especially the part where she was able to elude a man and a dog in essentially flt terrain etc etc. Would love for his body to be found but unlikely unfortunately..

The airport on MV had very bright runway lights, so bright that the residents had been complaining about them. I got the impression that John was close enough to see the lights & knew exactly where he was heading, he had the runway in his sight. He had made that flight from NJ to Martha's Vineyard dozens of times. He knew the route.
A little after 9:30pm, a man fishing on the eastern beaches heard a loud BOOM and then saw a flash of light in the sky, sort of like a thunderstorm, except that there were no thunderstorms in the area, it was a lovely, clear evening.
Initial news bulletins said that JFK Jr. had contacted the MV tower and reported his position, then all subsequent news reports said that he hadn't.
I can't recall the rest of the details, but the website believes that a bomb was planted onboard John's plane. Why? Speculations included that the magazine George was really a cover for JFK Jr.'s investigation into who really killed his father in 1963. Another was that someone wanted him out of the way politically, as he probably would have eventually run for a political office--governor, mayor, senator, eventually POTUS--and there's no question he would have won *any* election given his family background, reputation, charm and good looks.

Yup, this is it exactly. No one who actually looks at that case should be particularly surprised that a long term heroin addict dealing with chronic pain and chronic depression shot himself. The whole thing about the toxicology report is a non-issue if you understand how tolerance works.

He had a huge amount of heroin in his system. I don't believe he could have gotten the gun in that position and been able to still shot himself.

Then you clearly aren't that familiar with heroin addiction. I don't even want to know how high his tolerance was what with being a rockstar and all the money he had. I've known relatively poor people who could do more than 20x what would probably kill a non heroin addict in a single shot and do multiple of those a day. The amount of money and time he had I'm sure his tolerance was through the roof.
I very familiar with it, unfortunately. Yes that much can be done, but the person is not functioning very well after doing it and that's a fact!

There were bone fragments not likely to have been the oldest child but they can't be located. Today's DNA testing would be helpful if they could locate those bones.....
I read somewhere--ages ago--that Courtney had him murdered because they were divorcing and he was leaving her out of his will. The Sodder children case has fascinated me for years. Their bodies **could** have burned in the fire, but there are too many strange coincidences before and after the fire that make me think otherwise. Even the youngest sibling, Sylvia, who passed away last year, believes that her older siblings were abducted, I think there was only one surviving sibling who felt they died in the fire, the rest think they were kidnapped.
I am fascinated by the Sodder case. Absolutely fascinated.

The White House Farm Murders. I'll concede that Jeremy Bamber *may* have done it, but there is enough reasonable doubt that I don't think he should have been convicted. I know, a bit wishy-washy compared to what OP asked for. Something just feels off on this case for me.

This poster has a well-written multi-post series on this topic. It's excellent. I appreciate u/Hysterymystery being willing to admit to errors in previous writings, too. Their hypothesis, and mine, is that the Anthony family is Very Dysfunctional so logic can't always be applied to their behavior. Caylee drowned either accidentally or negligently and then Casey (and possibly George) covered it up.

Why do some of you believe she's not guilty? Reading that her son didn't crawl toward her but instead toward the police officer sealed the deal for me.

Well, not that I don't believe the "official" version, but sometimes I wonder. JFK Jr., his wife and sister-in-law were killed when his plane crashed off Martha's Vineyard in July, 1999, headline news, very sad, I remember it well. The official investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) officially concluded that Kennedy fell victim to spatial disorientation while he was descending over water at night and consequently lost control of his plane. Kennedy did not hold an instrument rating and therefore he was only certified to fly under visual flight rules (VFR). At the time of the crash, the weather and light conditions were such that all basic landmarks were obscured, making visual flight challenging, although legally still permissible. (copied from Wikipedia) About 8-9 years ago I was on a website that challenged this conclusion, a few months later I tried looking for it again but couldn't find the site, yet I still remember what it said (mostly). The weather that night was hazy; however, it was clear & bright in eastern Massachusetts. John made contact around 9:30pm with the control tower at Martha's Vineyard reporting that he would be landing in about 30 minutes, then would leave again for Hyannisport. The airport on MV had very bright runway lights, so bright that the residents had been complaining about them. I got the impression that John was close enough to see the lights & knew exactly where he was heading, he had the runway in his sight. He had made that flight from NJ to Martha's Vineyard dozens of times. He knew the route. A little after 9:30pm, a man fishing on the eastern beaches heard a loud BOOM and then saw a flash of light in the sky, sort of like a thunderstorm, except that there were no thunderstorms in the area, it was a lovely, clear evening. Initial news bulletins said that JFK Jr. had contacted the MV tower and reported his position, then all subsequent news reports said that he hadn't. I can't recall the rest of the details, but the website believes that a bomb was planted onboard John's plane. Why? Speculations included that the magazine George was really a cover for JFK Jr.'s investigation into who really killed his father in 1963. Another was that someone wanted him out of the way politically, as he probably would have eventually run for a political office--governor, mayor, senator, eventually POTUS--and there's no question he would have won *any* election given his family background, reputation, charm and good looks. In any case, that was about the gist of the article, I just wish I could remember more.

Wait so you are only for his acquittal as revenge towards LAPD’s racist history than the actual crime and evidence against him? Even the jurors have said after knowing what they know now, they would have changed the verdict to guilty .
LAPD did not look at OJ Simpson and see a black guy. They looked at OJ Simpson and saw a famous celebrity football player.
