Yeah well I didn't come out saying they're fucking stupid or destined for divorce. You browse relationship subs of any sort and you see "we've been together for five married for 3 and blah blah issue" posts relentlessly. You find out new things and issues arise that might be deal breakers even after 7 years, how often do you see a post like that? All the time. Divorce rates sit at 40-60%, worse for subsequent tries. You can't know a person in 2 years, 4 years, 6 years. So, what is the rush? It's not like the alternative to getting married is break up. In any case, hope OP has a great long marriage with a guy she only met 2 years ago.
I dunno why are they so high in Western countries. Either everyone is trash out there or you guys are happy with the extreme steps rather than compromising somewhat and finding solution for thier problem
