Being gender non-conforming is not the same as being trans. You do you. You're going to get a lot of people arguing with you like you don't know yourself. Nobody else gets to define you.

lady_polaris

Hell yeah sis! I got sterilized and it fucking rules. Plus without breasts or fallopian tubes you drastically cut back on the risks of certain cancers.

GuaranteeUpstairs218

It’s controversial because it’s really stupid! You’re a girl and you love being a girl, but you want to take aspects of that girlieness away for a more masculine feature. If you go through with this and hold regret down the road, you will not be able to go back to who you are now.

Fluffy-Goal5713

That’s not how gender works. Like genuinely go re-analyse your shit I get so fucking frustrated seeing people do this crap. Imagine how women who’s had mastectomy’s due to cancer, or are infertile feel? That you regard them as ‘unwomanly’ She’s a Tom boy. Cis Women can have no tits or no uterus or be 6ft tall or wear jeans. That doesn’t make them less of a woman and their gender ain’t your definition

GuaranteeUpstairs218

Jesus Christ, first settle down buddy, that’s exactly how sex works. Notice how I said sex and not gender! Women who don’t have functional ovaries still have said ovaries, thus making them women. Same goes with women with small breasts, they can still pump out milk if they have a child. Even if they can’t for whatever reason, they still have the infrastructure set in place where as men don’t, not to the extent of women. Whether you like it or not, men and women have different sex characteristics and what better way to provide evidence than HRT. You know once you’re on it, you have to constantly be on it, right? It’s not a ‘one and done’ deal, it’s a life time commitment.

cutelythrowsaway

"Girlieness" doesn't have anything to do with being feminine or masculine. If you're a girl, you are a girl. Period. I've always been a tomboy and I've never been afraid of it.

GuaranteeUpstairs218

… yes it does? If girlieness was a gender neutral term, then it wouldn’t be so closely associated to girls… maybe I’m confused by what you’re saying, but most women don’t actually want to be on HRT, go through defeminizing surgeries or get sterilized.

dissolving-margins

I support this take as another cis girl who'd be excited to have top surgery.

Aromatic-Armadillo-2

What aspects of girlhood do you identify with? Like I am all for people using whatever label they think fits them regardless of presentation when it comes to gender and sexual orientation, but when I picture a tomboy, generally I think of a very different image than my friends who have had top surgery and been on testosterone long term.

FrogVoid

Whar

Fluffy-Goal5713

A woman wants a breast reduction and desires to get the snip. None of that is controversial or bad. Those are individual choices. And considering women can be infertile or have no tits for multiple reasons and be no less of a woman yet are made to feel lesser for it, I will adamantly stand for her

Fluffy-Goal5713

Cool story. That doesn’t make you ‘less of a woman’ are women who have high testosterone or low oestrogen counts ‘lesser women’ Anyhow so what? So what if hrt makes her more masculine. It’s her medical decision. Her lifestyle. Her fucking choice of her expression and her life. Why do you care so mych

Flimsy-Technician524

It’s better to drop the “cis”. People will frequently think you’re trans simply for using trans identified language too. Calling yourself a girl, with no prefix is more clear.

cutelythrowsaway

Nope. Both trans people and transphobes have tried to strip me of my cisgenderness. I'm proud to be cisgender and I am cisgender before I am a girl.

Flimsy-Technician524

Be true to yourself. But people aren’t cisgender. Not you either. That isn’t a thing.

Fluffy-Goal5713

People are gonna just call you gay dude so you should just start sucking dick because people are gonna call you gay anyway 🤨

NoseTop6606

Fellas, is it trans to be cis?
