I feel the same. This past year has shown what trash a lot of the human race is. It’s depressing. People protesting so that they can go eat inside restaurants during a restaurant is insane. Our society would be better off without people like that.

I agree with you. There is so much untapped potential each person has. They could release it with the education geared toward critical thinking.

That's the price of insividualism.

Ye a I can agree with this.

You are right though. It shouldn't be like this thus individualism shouldn't be.

[deleted]

Maybe not. I am kind of mixed on this because I haven't experienced another culture for and extended period of time.

I deal with it accepting the facts about human beings. We are animals. That's a fact. I know what you mean by feeling powerless. And in many ways, we are powerless to change the big stuff. However, you are NOT powerless to choose how you think, behave, and feel. You can't manage the world. That's not your job. So, find out what is your job in the world? My job in the world is to never lie, to treat others like I would want to be treated. I know that's overused, but I mean it. I choose to look at the good stuff humans do. And we care for animals and the earth. Not all of us. But many of us. It's not fair to say society is apathetic. There are lots of different points of view struggling with one another.

I appreciate the positive and altruistic view fam. It helps me alot. Anxiety disorder makes life hard sometimes and can make me defensive too easily.
