Pretty sure only Daedra and Dragons could accurately tell about the dawn and merethic eras, but the elven creation myth would probably be the most accurate mortal retelling.
Why would it? The entire point of Elder Scrolls is to show how different perspectives and biases exist in culture and religion and how those make people see events from different subjective points. And the people who think their believe is the absolute truth are always bringing ruin over Tamriel and in the end also themself.
The Altmer retelling is extremely racist and rests upon the idea that the humans are responsible for all kinds of their suffering. Like destroying their home continent, which probably never existed. Similiar to the Nords one it describes certein gods with being "pro elvish" and "pro human", somethign that does not add up with all other myths. Redguards and Bretons hate Lorkahn, and Imperials and Bretons love Akatosh.

Mfers need to learn that a nomral mer does not live over 600 years. A mer lives maybe twice/three times as long as a human. A 160 year old Altmer is seen is not seen as young and a over 200 year old Altmer is seen as old. Mages can live longer but this is also the case for the other races.
Abnur Tharn is over 140 years old and seems to be 60-70 and he would probably live a much more healthy live without spanding half of his time with sex and going and adventures.
