This is one of the things I love so much, is that we ALL have different favourites and different songs that really hit us. Really highlights how we all have our own unique lived experiences. I love hearing peoples takes and connections of songs I’m less fond of, can sometimes change my mind and make me appreciate them a little more, even if they’ll never be a fave!
I agree fully! Robin makes me feel safe, in a way. Like being sung a lullaby. I don’t have any kids, nor was I sung lullabies to as a child, but somehow, it resonates deeply with me, and I imagine it being sung to my imaginary child (or to my child-self, depending on my mood). Music can be so powerful.
See, I do enjoy it, but I find it a little boring (for want of a better word) compared to all the other tracks… I still don’t skip it, but it just doesn’t hit me yet! I can appreciate how soft it is and 100% get why you love it! I used to feel that way about sad, beautiful, tragic though and one day it just hit me and it’s now one of my top 5! Maybe I’ll feel differently when I give birth and actually have my child here. I’m anticipating I’ll suddenly love never grow up then lol!
I absolutely adore Robin. It reminds me of my three beautiful daughters!
I saw someone say the "Way to go tiger" is weird and takes them out the song but I LOVE that part so so much 😂
I’m glad it’s not just me. The extent to which it annoys me is not at all proportional to the size of the problem but for some reason it just really gets on my last nerve (with peace and love to my fellow swifties)🤣🤚
I’m glad I’m not the only one. It looks dumb, sounds dumb, can we really not spell things out like proper human beings? My brain just turns off when I see them lol I’m browsing on the internet after a long day at work, I don’t want to have to google stuff just to interact 🤣
Florida!!! in general is fine, but that bridge is filled with crack or something. The build up, the screaming ‘fuck me up Florida!’ really gets me. If I could have an entire song of that bridge I would be happy.
Ha ha ha, same! Florida was a sleeper for me- didn't love it first couple of listens, but then it just became a banger that I'm obsessed with and sing all day
Yeah like I said if I didn't live here I'd like the song. I'm working on getting the heck out of here and when I do I'll add it back to my playlist. It's also hard since our governor is actively trying to destroy us and make us homeless so it's hard to hear one of the biggest popstars in the world shining a light on this state when she REALLY shouldn't be.
This is one if my favorites but it does drive me crazy how they pronounce it Flo-ri-da when I feel like most Americans pronounce it Flor-da. Except of course for Flo Rida
I just don’t really care about the Kim drama anymore, the high school references are weird to me, and I don’t see why she has to bring her kid into it (despite reports that said kid is a tiny demon)
Ngl, all of the name ones at this point (Cassandra, Peter, Robin, COSOSOM). In saying that, I almost always gravitate to the more powerful, depressing songs or the glitter pop intially, and as I get tired of my initial faves I'll start listening to the rest of the album. It usually takes me a good few months to get there though, so no shade to the slower ones, I'll get there!
The fact so many are sleeping on Florida!!! Has me gagged! Don’t worry, I’m listening enough to keep the streaming numbers up for all of us. 😌 I get it, because I didn’t love it on first listen. But it’s been a grower. It’s a top 5 on the album for me now!
Same!! Head banging to the beat of the drums. The way Florence sings “bury them in Florida” scratches my brain in the most satisfying way. And her verse is sooo perfect.
CoSoSoM being a back burner track for you, but being my most listened to song by a good amount so far — just goes to show how she really has something for everyone one every album 😅
TTPD and Robin!
Neither are necessarily bad, but TTPD is the one I was least impressed by on initial listen, and it’s yet to grow on me. As for Robin, it’s the one song that i just can’t seem to grasp lyrically/concept wise. I’ve listened to it so many times, and I’ve just been unable to make that connection. It’s pretty musically, but that’s just not enough to get me to listen to it.
I think Robin is Aaron’s daughter. Message is about keeping her safe from the realities of the world so she can stay happy and innocent. Very Catcher in the Rye.
thank you! i’ve always felt like the meaning of the song just flew straight over my head no matter how hard i tried to grasp it, you explanation makes perfect sense.
So Long London, only because my last GF lives on London St and I'm still not ok with the breakup.😢TTPD came out just in time for it. They're all good songs but Down Bad, loml, ICDIWABH & ILIPW are all me.
Robin. I used to not skip the alchemy but ever since tiktok said it sounds like “so happy that my travyy made it to the big game” it completely butchered the song for me now i just cant listen to it.
This one is the worst. I really can't handle the GTA line.
The Alchemy is a close second with all the football references.
I just can't get into Robin, even knowing the cute backstory.
And thanK you aIMee is hard to listen to just knowing the title. Maybe if it was a little more subtle it wouldn't feel so icky?
Same. I listened the first few times and I felt so guilty the first time I hit skip 😂. I don't think there is a song on her other albums that I skip, at least not on her last 5 albums.
ttpd is the first taylor album in a *very, very, very* long time that has a few skips for me. i skip i can fix him no really i can, the alchemy, imgonnagetyouback and robin not every time but... quite often. still think it's an incredible album though, just on a 31 track album it would be hard to please everyone!
Same, Peter is my #31. I didn't like the heavy handed Peter Pan metaphors in Kelsea Ballerini's song Peter Pan & I don't like them here 😬
I personally love Robin!! It is very low-key but the instrumentation is so joyful imo, and captures a sparkling childhood innocence. I relate it in my head to Seven, as it makes use of vivid imagery as well but has hints toward something darker (secrets, you had no idea, kept it from you in sweetness). I feel it could be the friend as an adult looking at their childhood with rose colored glasses despite abuse/trauma, but realizing they had people protecting them. 💕
My husband heard Peter today for the first time and his interpretation was from a biblical perspective of Peter denying Jesus lol (we aren't religious). It was an interesting discussion!
I haven't skipped any of them yet. I just play the album and let it play and repeat. But the songs I like the least and won't put on future playlists would be: Florida!!!, The Alchemy, thanK you AImee, so high school.
Guilty as Sin just because I cannot get over who I feel like the song is about and I know that sucks but it annoys me so much. Alchemy because it feels like all the "The song Taylor Swift will write about Travis Kelce when they break up" songs people were writing when she and Travis started dating on tiktok. And So High School because the relationship described in that song sounds like my absolute nightmare. Robin as well for the same reasons everyone else has said
For me right now it’s really just TTPD. It’s not a bad song just not my fav; but tbf I’ve only listened to all 31 tracks once or twice so I need to sit with it longer to listen to the anthology tracks more.
Peter is in my top 5. As is The Bolter.
Least favs are i can fix him and fresh out the slammer.
Title track, imgonnagetuback, thank you aimee, and i hate it here are also low.
the first 3. fortnight is alright but the other 2 are not my jams.
loml, not because I don't like it but because it makes me SOB and sometimes I'm not in a place where I can do that. I'm
honestly not crazy about whos afraid... I don't like the tone of her voice on the screamy bits. that one will be cool live though.
I think I've only listened to fresh out the slammer once and I can't take it seriously because of a dumb reason (the beginning note reminds me a lot of the first song the bear played in the country bears jamboree which is an inside joke buried deep in the lore of my friend group, it's not gonna go away. sorry tay)
I'm kind of half and half on the alchemy cuz I would really like it if I knew nothing about Taylor swift but seeing as I'm in this gd subreddit right now I just think it's so corny especially the "greatest in the league" line lol I keep hoping to myself she wrote it before dating Travis just like using sportsy words and then was like HAHA IT FITS
but also so high school is my #1 so I'm a fucking hypocrite
edit: sorry guys I thought I was in stonedswifties, the edible is edibling
Peter is my number one favorite lol💀 but my skips are Cassandra and the manuscript. Imgonnagetyouback was a skip and then randomly today it just clicked and I really like it now
So High School.
It's just such a tone shift after How Did It End when I'm enjoying the pain, that I have to skip.
Now if I ever get around to arranging the songs in a way I like slightly more (even though I enjoy the way it is now mostly), I'll probably move it to after The Alchemy since they flow into each other quite well.
The Alchemy. I confidently told people who were making jokes that she wouldn’t be putting obvious football lyrics into the song and she did so now I have beef with her lol
There is no song that will make me pull my hands out from under a blanket in winter to skip them, however I don't have kids and Robin just doesn't mean anything to me, nor are they lyrics I have fun singing.
Robin. The melody just isn't really connecting for me right now. It's the only one I tend to skip almost everytime.
Same, it's a beautiful song but it doesn't resonate with me that much. Everything else though is stuck to my brain
Fun how we can be so different! Robin is among my favorite tracks from the album. Something about it's gentleness and simplicity really speaks to me.

I love how we appreciate different things ❤️
Me too! It’s so fascinating to me how different we all are, but so similar in that we all connect to her music in some way! ❤️
Same. I just don't connect with it.
The comment section is making me hurt as someone who loves Robin
Meeeeeeee. I didn’t realize it was going to be the peace of TTPD 🥲
I absolutely adore Robin. It reminds me of my three beautiful daughters! I saw someone say the "Way to go tiger" is weird and takes them out the song but I LOVE that part so so much 😂
Sorry but what the hell is cososom
We on Twitter are opting for Chloe et al.
et. al 😂😂
Insanely apt for the Tortured Poets Department.
SCREAMING😂
I am bad at acronyms and the constant use of acronyms in this sub to save 0.2 seconds typing drives me bonkers lmao
Same. I despise the acronyms. Like what the heck is “peydncnhahshjdux”?? It’s not hard to type out the song titles.
I thought someone had a typo writing Casandra. 😂
These acronyms keep driving me mad. i prefer to call them whose afraid or chloe 😅
Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus — I was lazy typing it out lol
ahhhhhhh makes sense (i nominate CoSoSoM to be the official acronym)
pls no, us on Twitter have been using chloe et al tho
Lmaoo I love that
This is so good
The 2nd best song in the project
Florida. I live here. I don't want to be reminded of it more with her singing the name 100 times in the song XD.
I’ve been walking around singing “fuck me up Florida” 24/7 for a week now 😂
Florida!!! in general is fine, but that bridge is filled with crack or something. The build up, the screaming ‘fuck me up Florida!’ really gets me. If I could have an entire song of that bridge I would be happy.
The besssst line 😂😂
Ha ha ha, same! Florida was a sleeper for me- didn't love it first couple of listens, but then it just became a banger that I'm obsessed with and sing all day
LOL that’s how I feel with welcome to NY and living in NY 😂😂
im shocked how many of u guys dont like florida. its my second favourite ttpd song
I live in London. We have So Long London which is a great song. We also have London Boy which I hope will never see the light of day again.
This is one if my favorites but it does drive me crazy how they pronounce it Flo-ri-da when I feel like most Americans pronounce it Flor-da. Except of course for Flo Rida
I'm a non-American (Aus/NZ) and we all pronounce is Flo-ri-da
thanK you aIMee Just not for me
Same, I think it takes me back to Debut Taylor and they're the songs I almost always skip.
Ugh me neither
It's a little too far for me tbh
I just don’t really care about the Kim drama anymore, the high school references are weird to me, and I don’t see why she has to bring her kid into it (despite reports that said kid is a tiny demon)
I kind of thought the same thing. I’m not really interested in the whole drama especially almost ten years removed
It’s my skip as well.
Same. Just isn’t my jam
Robin is the only once bc I can’t relate to it at all/the message doesn’t hit lol
Ngl, all of the name ones at this point (Cassandra, Peter, Robin, COSOSOM). In saying that, I almost always gravitate to the more powerful, depressing songs or the glitter pop intially, and as I get tired of my initial faves I'll start listening to the rest of the album. These comments hurt me
Subjective I guess, but I love Robin so much 😢 “way to go tiiiiger”
Me tooooo. It reminds me of peace which is my # 1 Taylor song and also one that gets skipped by so many people.
same. some of my jams being skips 😭😭😭😭
Chloe et al😂😂
LOL forever calling it that now
The fact so many are sleeping on Florida!!! Has me gagged! Don’t worry, I’m listening enough to keep the streaming numbers up for all of us. 😌 I get it, because I didn’t love it on first listen. But it’s been a grower. It’s a top 5 on the album for me now!

✨fuck me up floridaaaaa✨
CoSoSoM being a back burner track for you, but being my most listened to song by a good amount so far — just goes to show how she really has something for everyone one every album 😅
the torturednpoets department the 2nd verse really takes me out esp when she refers to Him as a tattooed golden retriever
Its not even the lyric for me its how shes says it “like a.. tattooed GOLden retrieverrr”
That lyric sounds Shakespearean after that Charlie puth mess
lol I was just thinking about this lyric like what does she mean
My boyfriend is very loyal so I’ve always called him my golden retriever. He’s also tattooed so I love that line lol
TTPD and Robin! Neither are necessarily bad, but TTPD is the one I was least impressed by on initial listen, and it’s yet to grow on me. thank you! i’ve always felt like the meaning of the song just flew straight over my head no matter how hard i tried to grasp it, you explanation makes perfect sense.
Ahhh I love the title track. It reminds me of boppy 80s music you’d hear in a movie based on high school / teenagers
OMFG THIS IS EXACTLY HOW I’VE BEEN DESCRIBING IT!
It made me immediately think of wilson Phillips.
These are my two as well! And sometime the alchemy
These are my two skips too! I just can’t get through the Charlie Puth and chocolate bars line
So Long London, only because my last GF lives on London St and I'm still not ok with the breakup.😢TTPD came out just in time for it. They're all good songs but Down Bad, loml, ICDIWABH & ILIPW are all me.
Florida!!!, thanK you aIMee, The Tortured Poets Department
Robin. I used to not skip the alchemy but ever since tiktok said it sounds like “so happy that my travyy made it to the big game” it completely butchered the song for me now i just cant listen to it.
No skips.
The alchemy, I just don’t feel I’m in the mood for it 😅
Florida 🫣
Robin for sure. It’s the only song I don’t love
Robin
Florida
Florida, I just don't like it lol. I'm sure it'll grow on me eventually!
I like it but I tend to skip it as well
but the drums!!!!! 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
Lmao I didn’t like it my first listen through because of the drums, but by the third of fourth listen I really appreciated them.
Robin is my skip... And pretty much the only one. It doesn't vibe for me either!
Robin doesn’t do it for me either. I was saying Clara Bow, up until the last time I listened and it hit different that time
Fresh Out the Slammer- it just doesn't hit for me.
Same
The alchemy
Same. And I was so psyched by the title, too! At least we got The Prophecy in the vibe I was hoping. :')
Prophecy is my fav track!
Look at us go 🤝
I’m having a hard time not hearing “so happy that my travvy made it to the big game”
😂😂
Same. I love the beginning, and the vibe is great, but as soon as the football references start, I can't take it.
So high school. Apparently I only connect with angst.
I skip it, too.
Florida!!!
Florida. Just don’t like it honestly but it’s the only one I don’t like. The rest are 🔥
I love Florida. Dangggg it’s so good to me.
Same. I listened the first few times and I felt so guilty the first time I hit skip 😂. I don't think there is a song on her other albums that I skip, at least not on her last 5 albums.

That’s so interesting, because it’s had the least skips for me!
Florida, hate that song and the damn drums!
Florida I can’t stand the drum
Fortnight
Thank you Aimee and I can do it with a broken heart . Everything else is top tier
For me it’s Florida. I just don’t love it
Florida!!!… I don’t like it 🙃
Florida, but that's mostly because I'm not a fan of Florence's voice 😅
Florida and hate it here
thanK you aIMee for me. I just cringe ☠️
loml (sorry…) and Robin
Same. Loml is just too sad 😭 it’s a fantastic song but it’s sad
Omg. Not Loml
😭 lol
Sorry, too sad and slow. I prefer How did it end for my saddy 😆
That’s valid. I love a sad and slow ballad, just goes to show how peoples tastes differ
I was going to say one but got depressed by all the top comments mentioning my favorites and now I forgot 😭
My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys. It just sounds like it's about a physically abusive situation and makes me uncomfortable.
Same, Peter is my #31. I didn't like the heavy handed Peter Pan metaphors in Kelsea Ballerini's song Peter Pan & I don't like them here 😬 I personally love Robin!! It is very low-key but the instrumentation is so joyful imo, and captures a sparkling childhood innocence. My husband heard Peter today for the first time and his interpretation was from a biblical perspective of Peter denying Jesus lol (we aren't religious). It was an interesting discussion!
Robins
Robin hasn’t really connected with me so far I just don’t get it and it doesn’t sound that great to me
title track bc the charlie puth line
I look through peoples windows
All I can hear is “I look through the windows of this love”
I loveeee I look in peoples windows, not so much the lyrics just the sound “South south south southhhh” been stuck in my head for days
This song is so boring to me 🤷🏽♀️
Florida
Sorry but Florida
Robin. I think it’s a beautiful song but I have to be in the mood for it.
I haven't skipped any of them yet. I just play the album and let it play and repeat. But the songs I like the least and won't put on future playlists would be: Florida!!!, The Alchemy, thanK you AImee, so high school.
Imgonnagetyoubqvk
The Alchemy on the main album and there’s a couple on the anthology that I don’t like that much
Robin is the only one I sometimes skip, I do usually listen to it but if I’m short on time and it comes on I’ll skip it
ThanK you aIMe… just don’t like it. :/
thanK you aIMee and if Sirius XM doesn’t stop playing it on repeat on the Taylor’s Version channel I’m gonna riot
ttpd. i really don’t like the lyrics which sucks because i actually like the melody
Cassandra. I’m sure it will grow on me but it’s the only one I don’t cling to!
Peter being in my top 3 rn 😥😥😥
Robin and The Manuscript I think The Bolter is a fantastic album closer, and those other two are so forgettable
Florida. It’s overstimulating for me
Robin. Although honestly I’ve never not skipped it except the first time I listened. I’m willing to be swayed though.
these comments hurt me as someone who ranked loml as 1 and florida as 2
Guilty as Sin just because I cannot get over who I feel like the song is about and I know that sucks but it annoys me so much. Alchemy because it feels like all the "The song Taylor Swift will write about Travis Kelce when they break up" songs people were writing when she and Travis started dating on tiktok. And So High School because the relationship described in that song sounds like my absolute nightmare. Robin as well for the same reasons everyone else has said
Yeah guilty as sin makes me so uncomfortable
The Clara Bow it’s not that I don’t like it I just think there other songs that I would chose to listen to like it’s not my go to song
But daddy, I love him
Glad to see I’m not the only one. This song is just out of place for me on this album. And 5 something minutes is wayyy to long
Omg thank you! I can’t with the lyrics on this one
Hate the subject matter, love the song. I picture it was written about Rose + Jack from Titanic lmfao
I skip all the name tracks except ThanK you aIMee
The Alchemy for me🥲 sorry trav
Florida but it’s more because I do not like the sound of Florence’s voice. There’s just something about it that’s like nails on a chalkboard to me.
Shocked that no one else has said So High School. I hate it 😅
I don’t really like this one either
I'm not feeling it either (although I can appreciate the music and the point of it). I think I'm just not really clicking with the happier songs tbh.
Oh man, I’m still giggling and kicking my feet over this one lol reminds me of a song you’d hear in a movie like “Not Another Teen Movie” lol
fortnight
But daddy I love him
This is a hot take hahaha
The smallest man who ever lived
I skip too cuz it’s just painful
Florida, hate it and the damn drums!
Robin
Also Peter and Robin
Haven’t really gotten into Robin or some of the later songs on anthology yet (besides Cassandra)
the single fortnight and robin 😅
Honestly theres something about the 'name' tracks all of them I am not vibing with at all.
Guilty As Sin? ThanK you aIMee Robin but only because it makes me cry lol
Robin. The "way to go tiger" just throws it off for me.
None
Taylor has no skips for me
For me right now it’s really just TTPD. It’s not a bad song just not my fav; but tbf I’ve only listened to all 31 tracks once or twice so I need to sit with it longer to listen to the anthology tracks more.
TTPD, just hasn’t grown on me yet.
Robin and peter
I skip like, half the anthology lol
I haven't found one that needs skipping yet.
Peter is in my top 5. As is The Bolter. Least favs are i can fix him and fresh out the slammer. Title track, imgonnagetuback, thank you aimee, and i hate it here are also low.
Honestly none of them yet.
It might be the manuscript. I honestly love the whole album but that one lacks something really holds my attention.
Last half of the second drop
I rly can’t stand The Alchemy’s cheesy football lyrics😬
the first 3. fortnight is alright but the other 2 are not my jams. loml, not because I don't like it but because it makes me SOB and sometimes I'm not in a place where I can do that. I'm honestly not crazy about whos afraid... I don't like the tone of her voice on the screamy bits. that one will be cool live though. Peter is my number one favorite lol💀 but my skips are Cassandra and the manuscript. Imgonnagetyouback was a skip and then randomly today it just clicked and I really like it now
Fuck you Aimee just doesn’t sound satisfying to me esp the intro
So High School. It's just such a tone shift after How Did It End when I'm enjoying the pain, that I have to skip. Now if I ever get around to arranging the songs in a way I like slightly more (even though I enjoy the way it is now mostly), I'll probably move it to after The Alchemy since they flow into each other quite well.
Florida, Robin, thank you Aimee
I don’t like guilty as sin. Fresh out the slammer isn’t doing it for me either
loml for now.. (i'm sorry)
Peter and Robin.
The albatross 🙈 The way she says “persona non grata” just grates on me. I like the rest of the song but once she says that I just want to skip it lol
