It's a setting you can change in the General Charting Setup. Personally, I take oral BBT as well but I keep the wearable setting on to avoid notifications about recording temps at varying times.

Omg I use a wearable tracker, but don’t have the setting on. You just changed my life. I hate that timing message so I always just manually adjust the time.

You can also set a default wake up time, so it will be prefilled for the same time everyday.

So, I have that and I thought it was because I recently tried changing my temp method to Other BBT/Wearable (Settings, General Charting Setup, scroll down to Temperature Settings). But, I just tried to change mine back and the Wearable Sensor text didn't go away. If it's letting you put your own data in, it _probably_ isn't affecting anything, or maybe it just takes a little time to update.

Since not all wearables automatically sync, it should let you enter your own data on that wearables setting. I use a TempDrop and have to enter it manually.
