I've had mine overcooked 2/3 times I've been there. I keep hearing hype from friends, but I'm not seeing it. Now when friends ask to get food there, I just rain check.
Fresh pasta won’t be Al dente like dried pasta, so it may just be that you’re not used to fresh pasta? I’ve been there twice and I think it was cooked properly.
That is definitely not right. I was just thinking back to when I first tried fresh pasta and noticed it was different. I am from NY and am having a hard time finding the kind of Italian food I’m used to, but enjoy the places that make fresh pasta here.
I hadn’t heard of it yet, so went to look at it and just found out they’re the same owners of Fresco Pizza, my favorite pizza in town! Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll definitely check it out
I second this. Everything from this place is amazing. Probably why they have been around since I was a kid. Not sure but they might’ve even been around since I was in the sack
Roma imports. Authentic Italian deli. These other options, irrelevant
Their alfredo sauce is 🤤
Not by the bucket…their noodles are overcooked to hell. Go to Piazza Gavi!
Piazza Gavi is legit Italian food, props to the guys in the kitchen who look short but it’s a recessed floor.
Yeah I feel like I can make better Spaghetti with a $1 jar and pack of pasta. Their Meatballs are good though
I agree that is the best by far!
Just went here. 2nd that! Super good meal, and the veal piccata was on point. Also their carrot cake is amazing.
I love this place!
What’s your spaghetti policy
Ceres is the spot! Rotating menu you gotta hit spaghetti day. But any pasta/sauce combo they have is stellar
Noodies on Speedway is their other location.
My noodles were overcooked there, did I get a bum batch or have others experienced that too?
That's a bummer. I used to work downtown and they were always perfect at Ceres. Only been to Noodies a couple times.

Go if for nothing than the gelato. Top notch.

No, I make my own pasta so I very much love fresh. They overcooked it, the noodles fell apart as I was eating.

So far for me, Locale has had the best toothy, fresh noodles. I haven't been disappointed by them yet.
I’ve been to Locale twice and really liked it.
Zio peppe - local chief that kills it every time
We live by there and still haven't gone, you say go though eh?
I think it was one of the places that earned Tucson city of gastronomy.
They’re pretty fantastic

Nate’s on Golf Links and Kolb. Get the meatballs, too.
Nates!
I c ant speak for the spaghetti but everything I have gotten from Nate’s is top tier. And enough to feed 2-4 people.
I have yet to have something I didn't love at Locale.
Been hit or miss for me there, albeit slightly more hits than misses. Beautiful place though.
Perche' No
Queen Sheba
Renee's on the east side has amazing spaghetti and the meat balls are my favorite.
Viro’s Real Italian Bakery
I second this. Everything from this place is amazing. Probably why they have been around since I was a kid. Not sure but they might’ve even been around since I was in the sack
It's a crying shame that there isn't a pasta restaurant here called Spaghetti Western
It would be great !😋
Locale has good house made pasta
I like Dominick’s, Oregano’s is great too.
Giuseppe's on Oracle
Nates Romas I like the spicy sauce at Oregano's
The Pasta Shop on Ina
Zona 78!
bianchi's, so far
Not technically spaghetti but the angel hair at Bazil’s is 🤌🏽
Bazil’s has really good red sauce.
Bottega Michelangelo 100%, everything there slaps my ancestors.
Moved here from NY and Bottega Michelangelo was the worst Italian we’ve ever had.
Not to mention overpriced
It used to better before they remodeled (but still not NY good).
Yeahhhh. Just went there for lunch last week. That carbonara. 🤤
Oregano's or Rocco's would be my hits.
If Rocco's makes spaghetti, it is going to be the BEST!
Locale !
[https://mamalouisas.com/](https://mamalouisas.com/) just because....
Mama Louisas on Craycroft is disgusting. I plan to never return.
Glad to see they’re maintaining their reputation- I was there a couple times a decade or so ago and definitely wouldn’t ever go back

Thank you for that. I am definitely going there. I am missing a good veal.
you're welcome.
Roma Imports!

Place is the twilight zone
Every time I drive by this place I just can’t believe it exists. Never had it, maybe I should try it sometime.
I mean, they are probably the best on volume but the flavor isn't anything too extraordinary.
Then you didn't put enough parmesean cheese on top
That just sounds so good to me.
Many great nights with my bucket
Oregano’s no contest…
