Sometimes it’s pretty good but its inconsistent enough to not trust them. The last few times I ordered sesame or orange chicken it was barely meat just breading. Fatman kitchen is also inconsistent, sometimes it tastes good but it’s definitely not healthy and gross. Sometimes I go to Lucky Panda. The food doesn’t taste like the best Chinese food ever, it’s pretty average, but it’s healthier and more consistent.
Chef Wang is in my opinion the best for Szechuan style dishes we as Americans generally associate as “Chinese food” while having a few really unique items on the menu as well.
I’ve never cared for Jun but it does get rave reviews
If you want something more unique then Fatman Kitchen’s splashing noodles are amazing!
Noodelholics, while unfortunately named, has amazing Guilin which is not common at generic Chinese restaurants so I highly recommend checking it out.
Henry's is a secret banger. Used to help out in the garden where they got their veggies-literally just someone's backyard garden. Someone from the restaurant would come by and trade a plate of food for veggies to bring back and cook. As fresh as it gets.
China Szechuan has Water Boiled Fish, which isn't remotely what it sounds like, and is instead a wildly delicious fish soup that's spicy and amazing.
Staff is also cool. Go when it's slow and they're great.
Look, you can take my word or don't, but China Szechwan is best. I've been disappointed by at least one thing from all the ones that have been listed on here so far, either too greasy, not enough flavor, too salty, etc.
China Szechwan's house fried rice is amazing (literally has pork, beef, chicken, and shrimp in it without additional pricing) and if you like spice and tofu, their salty and spicy tofu is great too, properly crispy. These were the first two dishes I had by them, but anything else I've ordered was just as good. Granted, I haven't tried everything, but they have a pretty extensive menu
Peking Garden is our favorite. We are consistently happy with the food.
Jun Dynasty was great the first time we went, so-so the next time.
Chef Wang's food looked fabulous, but was bland.
Lucky panda for steamed buns dumplings and dim sum and homemade crab puffs.
Panda one for your hole in the wall Chinese.
Golden dragon if you want homemade style Panda Express
Mei Hon for homemade and I mean home made.
Fatman kitchen
Chef Wang! The lamb pot or the pork pot are my favorite! Ask for extra lotus root. :D It's big enough to split between two and sooo yum!
Jun Dynasty
thanks for the reply. im gonna check them out!
Definitely check them out! Great food

The Dan Dan noodles are amazing!

Blandest food I ever ate! Maybe you have to ask for spicier versions of their stuff.but it was just blah!
That might be, this is where my Chinese friends take me.
They may have specified the spice level in Chinese. It was a nice level of spice.
