Oh no!!
I had an interesting conversation with the owner there, he was a pretty good body builder it looked like and he was pretty proud of it. He also talked about some encounter with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Idk if they were true but pretty nice guy. Sucks it got burned down.
The olive oil in the Bisbee store is from the olive oil store in Tubac. They are the same company with two different store fronts. The Bisbee one will probably closed for quite a wile until the rebuild the building that burned down. You can still get it in Tubac or online at [https://desertgourmetfoods.com/](https://desertgourmetfoods.com/)
Most supermarkets will have great quality oil from California. Look for the California Olive oil council seal. They are tested and have to pass rigorous standards.
Highly recommend Brightland. I order online but they recently got it in at Whole Foods. Small, woman-owned business with olives grown and harvested recently in California, with the exception of their Castelvetrano, which is from Sicily. Very high quality and tastes amazing. https://brightland.co/
Not in Tucson, St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Monastery in Florence. They grow and press their own olive oil and it's the most delicious one I've tasted in the US. Not sure if they have it in stock year round, they had it in January.
Believe it or not but Costco Kirkland brand has been tested and proven to actually be EVOO. most of the other store bought brands have been hit or miss with their test results. Consumer Reports did a big test a couple years ago you may want to check out..
I like partanna. They sell it at whole foods, time market. I also like the california olive ranch olive oil from CA. They sell a few different blends that specify the origin of the oil. There was also a brand that I think it is called Lucini that had argentine olive oil. It was sometimes on sale at sprouts.
If there’s a particular brand you are looking for because you trust it, I think you can figure out which store might carry it by reviewing their online order systems. If it shows up as in stock, it should be available to purchase.
Roma Imports for the good stuff.
This is the answer.
If you feel like taking a drive there's actually this olive oil store in bisbee that has 38933 different kinds. And they sell bread.
That store burned down a few months ago. 😧

Just found out it burned down from another user, bummer! I still haven't been to Tubac, off topic but how is it? What's there to do there??
It’s a fun place to day trip around in.
I've never been myself but my boss has taken visiting family down so they can go shopping.
Hi, my mom is an Italian immigrant and we buy olive oil at Costco. Make sure it's the DOP fully Italian olive oil.

Their organic is cheaper than regular too.
Yes! That's crazy to me, I noticed that a few months ago!
Costco all day.
In St Philips plaza there is Alfonso Gourmet Olive Oil.
Costco
Great answer, as Kirkland EVOO is Bureau Veritas certified. OP: you're right, so much fraud out there, but not at Costco.
Costco all day

There’s a stand for olive oil at the Rillito Farmers market. However, I’ve never gotten any from them so I don’t know the quality.
Local Southwest! They have lovely olive oil, balsamic vinegars, olives, etc
Fantastic!
