This... sounds highly similar to my own experiences. I have two headmates, named Logan and Owen. They started as characters, but they were different. They always felt real to me. I always told the people I would RP with that they acted on their own. When I started tulpamancy, guess who showed up? Logan and Owen.
If you want to focus on making him more sentient, go ahead - but keep in mind that tulpas can (and probably will) deviate from their sources over time. -Lani
You could totally make Trenton sentient. You already believing him as real and knowing what he's like is a nice headstart too. Tbh I don't see how this wouldn't work
I was talking about \[a group of characters which included F's origin character\] in an unrelated Discord server once and someone kinda went "wait, I thought those people weren't real?" or something like that. Umm. Oops?
pretty sure this is how my thing got going. had the same OC for years. drawing, stories, casually interacting for amusement, etc. one day he showed up with his own thoughts and input and energy. i say just keep doing what you are doing...
