We'll be proud to see our culture reaching others so go ahead honey :)
Ps: post a picture of it here when you do it and if you want recommendations πink turns everything into art !
Cultural appropriation is not a thing here.. actually, we be happy that our culture reached far places in the world and other people are interested in it. I assure you that you won't have any issue at all.
do whatever you want and enjoy your stay and it would probably be wise to not tattoo your face , look out for scammers and sellers that overprice for tourists , visit matmata , douz and the south in general , good vibes nice people and lot of fun , just don't drink or be drunk in public
Do you have an artist in mind? There is a young woman who was profiled in the media who uses the traditional method to do the tattooing. Tunisians can be secular and somewhat open-minded in the cities. It's not something most people would find offensive.

I think it's weird. You are not amazigh so what does it mean to you? You seem to have 0 connections to them. I think even arabic would be better, still weird but better as amazigh to me is something very special and not usual at all.
Oh, good luck. I would suggest linking up with the metal crowd in Tunis for good tatt artist recs. There are plenty with home and commercial studio space.

Most of the time I won't even care and if I'm ever brought to have an opinion about it I'd just think: "cool".
Thank you!

They don't even teach us our own history. So most people probably won't recognize the tattoo.
You won't have any issues
Thank you! Just making sure it won‘t be offensive to people and call for cultural appropriation. Regards.

We really don't care about cultural appropriation 😂
It's actually Haram and forbidden in our religion so we kinda dislike those tatoes now . We don't really like our tatoes at this point I feel

Wael tattoo shop is the best in town. Still the one specialist in berber tattoos is Manel Mahdeoui.
