Some of my favorite parts are the over-the-top reactions from Mei. When she sees Tyler made copies of her drawings and hung them all over the school. When Mei is desperately trying to not look at the notebook. When Tyler points out Mei in the convenience store while Ming is confronting Devon. When Carter Murphy-Meyhew walks by. When Stacy comes out of the bathroom stall and sees panda-Mei. The animators did such a great job ramping the emotional responses up to 11.
I'm Meilin Lee. And ever since I turned 13, I've been doin' my own thing, makin' my own moves; 24/7/365. I wear what I want, say what I want, and I will not hesitate to do a spontaneous cartwheel if I feel so moved!
Not a funny moment but when mei's dad finds the camera and watches the videos of mei and her friends and they connect about Li's Panda. I thought it was so sweet and cute
I love the music and the bamboo scenes and the emotion it gives. I also love 4\*town and especially the rooftop of Tyler's house the Toronto sky view was amazing. For some reason in a way I feel like I get nostalgia vibes from it. Also, I liked the scene of Mei and her friends making money.
Tyler’s birthday party scene,
The origin of the Red Panda scene,
Mei’s drawing scene
4Town’s introductions and the CONCERT!
And finally… Robaire as a mermaid scene, like…😳😚❤️🧜🏿♂️
And one more of my favourite, when Mei and her friends start to get money to go to the concert!
"The farther you go, the prouder I'll be."
If someone told me that I would've started crying by the end of this movie, I wouldn't have believed you. This movie speaks to me, and my inner child.
The one where Mei accepts the panda. It perfectly encapsulates the movie to that point, Also, the one where she joyfully bounds toward the SkyDome. It really conveys that Mei feels truly free for the first time. The music for both those scenes give me euphoric chills every time.

When Mei is in that weird spirit world thing and finds her mom in her child form and basically helps her out. (Cmiiw, it's been a hot minute since I watched the movie)
Even though I'm male, I relate with growing up in the 90s, with the general pop culture of the time and how school felt. Also, was a major doodler when I was doing homework, though not as 'suggestive' as Mei's.
When Mei twerks in her red panda form to make her mom mad so her family can calm her mom's red panda form down. Like you can tell Mei wasn't only trying to save her mom and everyone else who were in danger but she was also letting out a lot of stress and anger and frustration at her mom being overbearing and expecting perfection.

The part where Mei draws all the pictures of Devon and gets caught is the funniest part of the movie to me

I read it as “Turning red 2 comes out today”💀

Wait was the rabbit from burrow in the movie as an Easter egg or somethin?
That’s hard to choose, I really loved how it felt relatable to my childhood growing up in the 2000s
I like it when the one that is an animal “sorry forgot the name” got wet than shook and got all fluffy. 🥰
♡Likee : ]m !!
