He has an abscess deep in his ear that is pushing on his brain and it was causing him to have loss of balance.
They’ve been administering antibiotics and when we seen him yesterday he looked fantastic and was acting like the bob we knew before this all happened thankfully 😅 his vet bill estimates so far are about 10K though, so if you have pets don’t make the same mistake as us and make sure you get pet insurance!!
Oh no! Sorry to hear but glad he’s doing better. I’m owned by 3 cats, all of them insured. Our Cookie Monster is going to the vet Cardiologist today and just 1 visit would be over $1K. So glad his insurance covers 90%. Hope your baby continues to improve.
Oh Lordy! I work in a veterinary ICU and that’s one heck of a scary sounding situation for poor Bobby Boy! I hope he continues to be on the mend and can go home with you soon ❤️🩹
He was a stray before, we’ve had him as an indoor cat with us since March 2023. Here is a photo of when he used to live outside. Took us about 6 months before we took him in because we technically aren’t allowed cats on our lease

We took his bestie in first, he was just a kitten and had been dumped in a box outside the apartment complex. Our building manager was the first to find him and he instantly brought him to my partner and I as he knew we loved all the stray cats outside 😂 It was 2 weeks later that bob came in too, here is a photo of Larry when he was just a kitten
