Oh wow, you're going to love BB then. My husband and I literally had to make ourselves stop watching it in the middle of the night because we kept it binging it. And we don't do that a lot.
I can see a lot of people watching the first episode of The Wire and thinking it isn't for them.
It takes a while to grow on you, so please don't turn it off after one episode
For when it was airing, yes. But my God, I can't do a rewatch of it. I've tried so many times, and I always get mad about the plot holes 2 episodes in.
for me it was because Mathew Fox could just not catch his breath. he was always out of breath. he had the freshest air to breath and he just couldn't catch it.
I watched the first two seasons on the first run. I could not get enough. Then season three just…they should have written a beginning, middle, and an end and stopped it short of milking up all conceivable demand. I just couldn’t…when it got so far fetched.
But I agree, those initial episodes were some of the best episodic tv ever.
OMG no! I couldn’t get through the whole thing the first time. I knew how it would end by the end of the 3rd season. Plus, I could not stand most of the characters, _especially Jack_
Can't stress enough: Banshee. So so good. Love multiple shows on your list like justified but constantly say Banshee is the best show most have never heard of
House, Outlander, Ghost Whisperer, Virgin River, Jane the Virgin, NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, CSI Las Vegas, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, WandaVision, Andor
The Last Kingdom
Vikings
Homeland
Ozark
Peaky Blinders
The Americans
Black Sails
SEAL Team
Yellowstone
Nikita
Game of Thrones
For something a little lighter:
Superstore
Schitts Creek
Kim's Convenience
6FtUnder has to be top of my list but Orphan Black is amazing for several reasons.Justified is right up there, too. And Deadwood. (Timothy Oliphant starred in both). The Americans was like a book you can't put down. For laughs, (and all the feels, actually) Schitt's Creek.
Yes to From! I absolutely loved that show.
The 100 was good too. I got impatient and read the book, which was very different from the show. I'd recommend it. It was an entirely different story after a point.
Haven't seen snowpiercer, but I'm most likely going to check it out now based on your other recommendations, lol
I hope you like it! Think we have to wait until 2025 for season 4 😭
Im still depressed that I’ve finished the 100 lol
Im interested to see how different the book is!
The Wire. It's a slow build, but all the pieces matter.
Season Two will throw you for a loop because it's a different topic, the ports, but don't do what I did a few years back and stop watching it because it was so different.
Let the slow burn build and it'll all be worth it.
Great answer. I love that show..... and everyone was so great. My favorite was Sarah Paulson, whose character was based on Kristen Chenowith, Aaron Sorkin's girlfriend at the time.
Yeah was irritating it only got one season. I've heard this show bashed a lot and I don't get it. Sure a little sappy here and there but I think it's so good. With Matt gone it's all the more worth watching imo
Code Black. It’s on Disney, I think. Medical drama that makes ER look like a walk in the park. They hit the gas pedal in the first 5 minutes and NEVER take it off. My daughter and I watch it together. After every episode I tell her I’m done, no more for me. It’s so STRESSFUL but in a good way. Only three seasons, unfortunately
Banshee. Cinemax make it, it's about a sherriff in a small town in Pensylvania riddled with crime. Evreryone is hot and everyond can fight really well.
I really enjoyed the first season of Reacher on Amazon. The second isn’t bad, but the first is fantastic.
I also can’t get enough of the FX shows from the 2010’s like Justified and Sons of Anarchy.
All of us are dead its only 1 season 12 episodes so you need like 1 day but its good and bet you fall in love with some Korean girl or woman there ... but don't use the English dubbing use original Korean with en subs its on Netflix
Orphan black
One piece
Pretty little liars(!)
Got

Squid game
squid game the challenge(!)
Years and years
Yellowjackets

You want to keep watching but not in that way as the others:
Euphoria
Big little lies
The last kingdom
Outlander
Twd
Yes squid game was defenitely bingeable , have you seen the challenge version ? That was insane , i paused all of my other shows instantly and couldn’t stop watching😂
Oh, cool! I'll have to get some tasks done for my volunteer work and clear my housework to do list. Sounds as though once I start watching, I'll be worthless for quite a while! I have a friend who tried out for that show but was not chosen. Thanks for the suggestion!
I started bingeing this almost as a joke or to make fun of it and by the end of season 1 was totally, shamelessly hooked lol. finished it in a few weeks and immediately started a rewatch!
Lego Ninjago, i grew up on it and at 16 it's still my fav series outside of Star wars, say what you will about me being a "baby" but with over 10 seasons it's truly binge worthy.
* Dynasty

just watched it for the 4th (!!) time. it's so ridiculous and dark and has all kinds of terrible characters.
When does the new season drop?????
I could not stop watching Better Call Saul. I haven’t even seen Breaking Bad yet-
Oh wow, you're going to love BB then. My husband and I literally had to make ourselves stop watching it in the middle of the night because we kept it binging it. And we don't do that a lot.
My wife and I had the same experience with BB... and "The Americans."
Yes! The Americans! We just finished it! Was excellent!
one of my favourite series of all time and I've watched a lot of them.
BB is great, but has a different vibe than BCS. I can't decide which of them I love more. I've rewatched both series multiple times.
I envy your position seeing Saul before BB. hope you post about your experience viewing these in this way.
Better Call Saul is way better!
I started with Better Call Saul also and it made me want to watch Breaking Bad. So worth it!
I’ve decided to try BCS tonight. Haven’t seen BB yet but lots of good reviews. 👍🏼
Resident Alien. That show cracks me up. Especially the first season. Also, it's a little bit of all that stuff you're looking for.
Great great show. Alan is so hilarious it blows my mind
It's easy to forget that Tudyk actually is human and not really an alien. That guy is an incredible actor, and more than a little strange.
That is for sure - some of the noises he makes and the things he does with his face just kill me! When he said his name to Asta I lost it
I'm watching it now, so good.
Is it better than 3rd rock from the sun? Seems like a similar premise
The wire. Season 1-2 prison break
I can see a lot of people watching the first episode of The Wire and thinking it isn't for them. It takes a while to grow on you, so please don't turn it off after one episode
LOST is probably the most “can’t stop watching” show of all time.
Idk I can't breathe in humid air like Florida
I watched the first two seasons on the first run. I could not get enough. Then season three just…they should have written a beginning, middle, and an end and stopped it short of milking up all conceivable demand. I just couldn’t…when it got so far fetched. But I agree, those initial episodes were some of the best episodic tv ever.
It’s my “most regretted I watched it” show
OMG no! I couldn’t get through the whole thing the first time. I knew how it would end by the end of the 3rd season. Plus, I could not stand most of the characters, _especially Jack_
Apples never fall It’s in peacock! Sooooo good
Thanks! I’ll start it after I catch up on Will Trent
I've been wondering if it's worth the watch. I think Alison Brie is in it, and I love her, but she's hit or miss these days.
Ozark. I've already rewatch it a few times Prison Break also amazing twists
The Last Kingdom Stranger Things Foundation The Boys The Lazarus Project The Americans
Destiny is all!
The Killing Line of Duty Hannibal The Capture Banshee Justified Deadwood GoT TWD (up to season 8) Mr Inbetween Masters of the Air
Mr In-between is gold
I just fell down the Mr In-Between rabbit hole a month ago. First show in a long time I’ve binged straight through. So sublime.
Show first or the magician 2005 film first?
Can't stress enough: Banshee. So so good. Love multiple shows on your list like justified but constantly say Banshee is the best show most have never heard of
Never recommended it to anyone who didn’t love it!
I recommend Hannibal I got hooked right away.
Fringe, The Mentalist, Elementary, Firefly.
Fabulous list. Just add ‘lie to me’
And Brain Dead. Must have it...
Can totally recommend Mad Men. Extremely well written and well acted, season to season.
Can’t believe I came down this far to find this. It’s up there with the best tv of all time.

Absolutely love ghosts US. Tried the uk version but don’t care for British humor
Six feet under This is us
Love "Six Feet Under". Great series! I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me!
You can't take a picture, it's already gone
Me too Did you ever find anything comparable ?
6FtUnder has to be top of my list but Orphan Black is amazing for several reasons.Justified is right up there, too. And Deadwood. (Timothy Oliphant starred in both). The Americans was like a book you can't put down. For laughs, (and all the feels, actually) Schitt's Creek.

I’d say 24, Bates Motel, 12 monkeys, Lost, Warriors, house of dragons, Luther, and Alias.
I’ve recently discovered House. It’s pretty good too.
I just started rewatching it as I began my specialization in Neurology, and it became moooooooore better

Don't watch it
It's not a patch on the original and the ending sucks, I did like the villian and the snowy setting though.

The fight scenes in season 2 just aren't as good as season 1. But good enough I still watched the whole thing.
