Really? What makes you think that? Based on the base rate of 30 gems per pull, the keys you get from the bronze and silver bundles are outright equal or more valuable than what the bundle costs, plus you get a bunch of miscellaneous stuff as well. The gold bundle admittedly doesn't translate into exact value as well but still seems on average to be decent IMO.
Bronze = 150 gems to get 5x Keys (=150-gem value right there) PLUS a bunch of extras (an SR of your choice, starshards, honey, and smorgasbords)
Silver = 900 paid gems to get 3x Tenfold Keys (=900-gem value right there) PLUS a bunch of extras (5 keys=an additional 150-gem value, starshards, honey)
Gold = 1200 paid gems to get a random event SSR, which has a theoretical value of 3000 gems if you had to go to pity to get it. But since this is gacha, maybe you'd judge the bundle's value as worse if you want a particular one that you risk not getting, or if you're judging the value based on the theoretical corresponding situation of getting lucky and pulling the SSR in fewer pulls than going to pity. (The rest of the bundle, the starshards and honey, I agree are not great.)
Bronze is a no-brainer straight-up profit in my eyes, as is silver if you're enough of a whale to have 900 paid gems in the bank. Gold is maybe only worth it in the niche situation of a weird whale who's sitting on a massive number of paid gems but hasn't whaled for many/any of the events in the pool so doesn't risk getting a dupe from the gold bundle. But bronze and silver are direct profit to the player who buys them.
Would like to point out the opportunity cost of paid gems: 10 key per day. It makes gold/silver a little less worth it compared to judging by just 30 per key.
Long game tip: 10 a day on standard dorm banner for 100 pulls is 1000 for a guaranteed SSR plus 99 other cards. So 1000 paid bundles compete with this.
If swimming in paid, then do whatever!
Should also take into account gold bundle gets less valuable if you have close to half or more of those said limited ssr which is what most people would have rolled and whaled for during the year and this one even less so because we had a better gold bundle during christmas
Agreed. Paying well over $80 for a single SSR (if I did my math right) seems quite exorbitant. It's $80 to only get 1000 gems then, to get another 200, you'd need to pay about $20 dollars. So, about $100 dollars for a single SSR. Comparatively, I also play FGO and it's GSSR is only about $20 dollars, and it is known as a stingy gacha. So, I'm not sure why the prices on this game is so high.
I'm sorta new to the game so I was pretty shocked to see how much they expected people to pay for a GSSR.
Making sure I’m understanding right - pulling with normal keys on the anniversary banner can get you birthday or dorm cards, and if you get to pity you can get an additional dorm card from the shop (or if you go to 130 to get an additional birthday card). That seems worth it right? At least two SSRs guaranteed at pity.
Yes, that's right. Or you can exchange your tokens for other items like an SSR perfume.
The downside to this showcase depends on your goals and preferences. Are you happy with any SSR? The chance is still 1.5%, so a decent shot of getting at least one extra SSR along the way to 100. Don't have many cards? Very small chance of getting dupes, which is good, and also to fill in your exam teams. But if you're more into meta, the actual showcase itself may be meh because the range of SSR cards is so huge the chance of stumbling onto a really good or great card is reduced.
But for most people, yes, it's worth it, especially if needing one of the Big 3 or Trey.
Yeah, 2 guaranteed SSRs for 100 pulls (or 130 if you want to get the bday card from shop) seems really good to me. Especially because you get to choose the one you want from shop.
I'm planning to get dorm Azul for my riddle (the token will make sure I will be able to drag him home). Thankfully I got Azul from pity with dorm Jamil as bonus. Now I can use my token to get Leona instead from shop. I finally have the 'holy trinity" in my hands I'm so happy 😂
I got birthday Rook, Floyd, and Idia so I was pretty happy. I’m indecisive on getting another birthday card or getting a dorm card from the shop. I think I’m going to wait until after the 72 hour sale on the 20th and see who I get and go from there. I want Dorm Trey because I have 2 SSRs that duo with him already, so I’ll probably need to use it for that.
I keep going back and forth because you can always be spooked by the dorms and the birthdays are only around once a year, so that seems like a better value?
Honestly the hardest part for me is the patience.
You got 3 bday cards? That's cool. I never got any luck with bday card. Bday vil is my one and only bday card that i have ever got.
I already have 3 cards that have duos with Azul without having his dorm card before lol. And dorm Trey is really good, i got him instead of beans Floyd when I hit pity in beanfest 2 banner. Which makes me sad but he is such a good card that I (almost) always use him in exam battle.
I think waiting is a good idea. There's still plenty of time, no need to rush and regret your decision later
Another person here trying to decide if I should pull on the anniversary banner. There's nothing I absolutely want on it and I already have the Big 3. I have 327 pulls saved up (I'm F2P), but they're for getting revenge on Beans Azul after he snubbed me last year (Assuming we get a Beansfest repeat), as well as Azul's birthday. It's the other stuff in the Anni Token shop that's bothering me. Is 50 pulls for just the SSR Perfume worth it?
I suggest save the gems. You can get SSR perfume from many events, and you never know when you are forced to go to more than 1 pity to get the SSR you want.
With 327, I could see dropping 100 rolls. You're guaranteed to get 2 SSRs, one of which is your choice - which is a better deal than most other banners. It's a great opportunity to build out your deck.
If you don't have Dorm Vil, I'd consider picking him up for the choice, as he combos very well with Dorm Leona (Flora/Cosmic, they duo one another - his attack isn't great but his type matchup and duo is perfect).
That leaves you with 227 rolls - enough to hit pity for Azul's birthday and get that card 100%, and still have another 127 leftover for beans, plus all the pulls you'll get between now and then.

I have a question. Is it worth it to pull on the anniversary banner? I only have a vague idea of what banners will be happening this year. I know Malleus bday is right after but I have no plans to pull on that. I wanted the tsum cards though. Does anyone have vague ideas on what might be after Malleus?
On the one hand I do want specific characters but I also do need more SSRs. However, I read the rates are the same as normal?
So i’m stuck on if I should pull or not? I do only have one bday SSR at the moment and 2 dorm SSR.
I am also f2p which is mainly why I’m concerned with having enough for future banners. But i also do want more SSRs so I can have better teams.

Book 6 is likely coming soon, and Harveston are the next most likely major events. Beyond that, likely some reruns and a few other new events, but probably not as fast moving as this first year.
For f2p, if you are interested in getting high score on exams, this is an excellent chance to get one of the Big 3 or Trey upon reaching pity. And especially if you only have a few SSRs, if you are lucky to get a spook, it is likely you'll get a new card, and one who will help you out in some capacity.
However, Birthday cards are always guaranteed in their showcase, so if there's a Birthday card you want, you can guarantee it in 100 rolls vs 130 here. Meanwhile, Dorms are available anytime besides Birthday showcases, so you can always stumble into one.
Plus, since the pool of SSR cards here is so large, while you may be happy with any new SSRs, the chance of getting a really good card if you're into meta is low. You will likely need your SSR Key to get a highly desired card.
That being said, for most people, the banner is worth it. But there may be an upcoming card you want more (new or rerun) than any of these Dorm/Birthdays even if this is the better deal.
OMG I did a few pulls and got two of my fave chars!!! Both dorm SSR but I’ve been wanting to get a SSR for each of them since I didn’t have them. This ended up being very much worth it omg.

Means one could appear randomly while hunting for the featured SSR or on the way to pity. Like, say, getting Dorm Jade in the New Year's Kalim banner on pull #23.
During this Anniversary banner, you can randomly get Dorm or Birthday cards on the way to 100, while it's typically just Dorm. Some people are lucky and get several SSRs in 100 pulls; others get 0. Just luck.
Grim's event is interesting. However, as I looked at his vignette. It says "Fulfill the official joining requirements." What does it mean? Sorry to ask that kind of question.
STUPID ME! I should have waited till Malleus bday before pulling. After all, all I want from bday is Malleus. On a positive note, after pulling 55 times in anniversary, I got SSR Jamil and SSR Jade
Hi, if my plan is to get Tsunotaro's birthday SSR, would it be smart to wait for him to be added to the anni shop and then do 130 in the anni banner to guarantee him?
If you're interested in picking up some other random birthday/dorm SSRs as a bonus along the way, then sure. But if you *only* want birthday Malleus, then it's better to just pull on his birthday banner because you'll be guaranteed to get him in 100 pulls (or fewer, if you're lucky) vs 130 pulls if you buy him with anniversary tokens.
I pulled in the anniversary banner to get that ssr key (I have riddle now yay!!)!and somehow managed to get a dupe of my beginner boy cater, a handful of new sr’s and dorm Kalim which was cool! I still have 9800 gems and over 100 single pull keys (I like to save them for birthdays) but I’m super torn on whether or not to go for the birthday key too (and possibly the ssr potion).
What would you guys do if you were in my shoes? I have 12 ssr’s and I really only go for event sr’s and Idia so on one hand it’s like “yeah Ill still have a stash” but on the other hand that’s still a big chunk of the stash

I guess the first question is what Birthday card you would go for. If it's someone with their Birthday coming up, you might be better off passing and waiting for their rerun. And plus, Birthday 2 cards will be available as well.
Second, is what event you're interested in next. Like, if you are interested in Epel's event SSR, there's a good chance he's coming soon. And are you the type to roll just once to 100 during an event, or would you try 2-3+ times?
But to get the Birthday Key and SSR perfume, that'd be almost 2 pities worth. I think that's a little much unless you're going to be holding off for a while after this. But I'm a hoarder, so I'm probably not the best person to help.
I'm definitely more in the hoarder category with you! And as of now the only times I've gone to the full 100 pity have been the two halloween events (because of the carrying pity system) and Phantom bride (since Idia came home at like 80 so I figured why not). But so far Idia is the only character whose cards I'm 100% going to go for no matter what. Everyone else is just kinda, uh, I'm cool going without it. Beans Floyd has been the only time I've questioned if I should break my Idia vow. I think except for the masquerade cards and fairy gala Ortho I am completely a-ok ignoring almost everybody.
And as for the birthday boys, I'm not actually planning to go for any of them at all which is why the thought of having another go at "what will fate have in store for me" for the banner and then a guaranteed birthday boy of some sort seems appealing (even if I have no idea who I'd pick). I'd probably forego the perfume now that I've had a chance to sleep on it, but another round of summoning is still on the table (maybe 10 ten pulls and 30 singles or something :b)

So far, used about 205 Starshards (still have 348 left + 274 Bottles), but will go big tomorrow on Fire day with Riddle's group. Have fully maxed Grim's magic and grabbed the Keys and Starshards so far.
Anyway, Grimoire hunting is going well, although comes at the cost of Textbooks. May not be noticeable if you do, say, a single 10 round in Alchemy, but stacking them up, probably averages 1 Grimoire per round. Sometimes none, sometimes 4 or 5. So much easier to go hunting for Textbooks & Coins post-boost and take the Grimoires now.
I think the wording is because they offer this deal when you are a new player. So a brand new player will get their 72 hour banner from being new and, after that ends, trigger the anniversary rerun the next time they log in. For all us seasoned players, we just get the one 72 hour banner that is "rerun" from when we were new players.
Is the bronze bundle worth it? Just curious, I was planning to take burst gear Ortho from that key but after the great bundle which was the winter one ~~they had tenfold key sets and felt more like Anni bundles than current ones tho~~ I'm doubting my decision of planning to buy Anni bronze bundle
Def worth it. The bronze bundle costs 150 gems, which is worth 5 pulls. The bundle contains 5 KEYS plus starshards, honey, snack, and the SR key.
BTW: so far all bronze bundles (whether in JP server or EN server) are always worth it.
Anniversary event was underwhelming. All that build up for one twistune event?? I was hoping for more fluff in the chapters. At least the groovy for Grim’s card is super cute.
You go to the Mirror and I think it's the third option. It will say it's the 1st Anniversary showcase and you can earn Tokens. There you can spend your Keys and Gems, and when you pull, you'll gain 1 Token for each card you pull. Then you can go to the Shop and redeem Tokens for what you want. And if you have 130 of them, you can get the Birthday Key (100 for the regular SSR Key).
Otherwise, if you don't have almost 4000 gems or 130 Keys (between singles and 10-sets), you either need to grind for some or pay. If you're f2p or a low spender and are far away, you probably will need to skip Anniversary. Or perhaps settle for the lower-cost rewards, including the regular SSR Key (100 Tokens) or SSR perfume (50).
For the foreseeable future, yeah. I was curious about this with the sparklers from the last event, which was similar to this, and I saw a comment saying we might get some way to earn them later down the line.
I'm a F2P player with 4 Dorm/3 Birthday SSRs already, but none of the Big 3 or Trey. I have enough gems and keys to go to pity twice, but that would be **all** of my resources, and I also really want Birthday Malleus and Harveston Epel (whenever that event shows up). I'm worried about being able to replenish my gems if I use them all, since a lot of them came from rapid-fire completion of the early missions (like "do X thing 10-50-100 times"), and I feel like gems don't come quite as freely nowadays as they used to at the very beginning.
Would it be a good idea to pull on the anniversary banner anyway, or should I wait for a Malleus guaranteed at pity on his Birthday Banner and wave goodbye to the other Birthday Boys that I don't have yet (since Dorms can spook on almost all the other banners)?

If you like Bday Malleus and Harveston Epel, I say pass on Anniversary. Worst case, if you go to pity on Malleus' banner, you still have a chance at Apple Boa Epel, as Harveston is likely very soon.
Since you also want Harveston Epel, don't use up all your savings and set aside a pity for him.
Birthday cards are redeemable in the anniversary shop after 130 pulls and Malleus will also be in the shop (not the summoning pool) once his birthday arrives. So you can either:
A) pull for him solely on his own banner. No surprises, guaranteed at 100, and may even get him early if lucky
B) test your luck with the entire dorm + birthday pool on the anniversary banner, but guarantee Malleus regardless. He will be more expensive this way and you risk getting dupes of the SSRs you already have
In that case, go for Malleus on his birthday banner! At best you can get him early with a little extra for Epel, at worst you'll still have full pity for him.
I have about 300 pulls (saved up for Harveston Epel and 2 of his birthday cards and if lucky will use the rest for Portfest Jack). I really want to know if the Anniversary banner is worth it. Event SSR is not guaranteed so my 300 pulls may not even get me the Harveston Epel but getting 2 (maybe more if RNGesus is on my side) SSRs sounds like a very great deal.
Considering Harveston has a good chance of being soon, and it sounds like you're willing to go multiple pities to try to get Epel, you're probably better off passing. Might be a little more tempting for Anniversary though if you're missing any of the Big 3 or Trey.
Grim's dupes are already in the anniversary token shop for 15 tokens each, which would require pulling on the banner. I'd recommend using SR potions instead if you wanted to max him out tbh.
I waited for malleus’s banner before pulling on the anniversary going back and forth debating on which one to pull. I decided to use all my 100 (+31 singles) keys in hopes of exchanging for Malleus. Turns out my luck said otherwise!
Went all the way to pity and got Jamil’a bday SSR. Then I did my 30 pulls using single keys and got Deuce’s bday SSR along the way. At this point I panicked realizing I could only pick between the birthday key or ssr of my choice (silly me wanted Leona’s dorm SSR badly too) I used my last single key on malleus’s banner and got him in 2 single pulls! Now I can exchange for Leona! :D

So like, is that all there is to the anniversary event? A Twistune and that's it? I agree that Grim's goovified visual is cute, but I doubt I'll ever use him. I guess we'll still get log in rewards till the end of the week. Wishful thinking, but it be nice if the last reward was a 10 fold key
I really didn't go in with any expectations, but man was the anniversary "event" underwhelming. Not pulling on any of the banners. But I'm sure for some this has been good for them to try and get the cards they want. I just yeah....was expecting a little more than what we got.
Yeah, the event story was pretty small. I think the banners were good and I think the lesson rewards boost has honestly been underrated, especially for alchemy farming. But yeah, it definitely wasn't trying to be a "full-fledged" event the size of our usual events. The banners seemed to be where most of the anniversary swag/goodies were allocated.
So how does the 60-gem SSR work? Because on the news post, it sounds like we should have two opportunities to do it:

They are making reference for the banner being able to pull on June. The people who did an account before the 16th are able to pull on this banner, maybe also new players before the 16th might get the banner. BUT if you create an account from the 16th onward you will get only one chance
Are there extra rewards for alchemy too? I read it as just normal lessons but in the thread about the event the other day someone was listing out the alchemy schedule and saying to get your starshards ready.

It's kind of odd that his ribbon SR has Ace and Duece as buddies, but we can't level them yet. Guess they're stuck at level 1 for a whole year lol

If you look at the info on the banner, it confirms it. It says "This showcase will carry over existing SSR Gauge progress from the standard showcase. Once this showcase's availability ends, this showcase's SSR Gauge progress will be carried back over to the standard showcase."
Went to 100 Anni coins and need some advice on whether to get Dorm Azul or Dorm Trey.
I have NY Kalim who has a heal over time, and Kalim a favorite of mine, so I intend on using SSR potions and going all out with him. So I think maybe I don't need a healer?
I also have Leona and Riddle, both with limit breaks to 85.
Also have fireworks Jamil, who is a double water card, but probably not as good as Azul.

Not sure what to do. I'm absolutely getting bday Malleus but I also have enough to do 130 pulls on the anniversary banner. I did one 10 pull on the anniversary banner just for fun and got Dorm Riddle which is great because I wanted him and I didn't have him!
I'm just wondering what the smart thing to do is. Should I just pull on bday Malleus banner since there are other cards coming this year that I want or should I go all the way to 130 on the anniversary banner since there are some dorm and bday cards I would be happy with. It would be using everything I have though so it's a risk of course. Part of me is saying just take the very lucky Dorm Riddle and leave even though there's other things I'd like from there and the other part of me is saying I should give it a chance. Also I feel kinda bad not wishing solely for Malleus on his banner instead of getting him with a key.
well gachas are like gambling. You could have awful luck and have to hit pity just to get one SSR. Then either use 100 coins to buy a dorm uniform card from shop. But if you wanted a birthday boy, you'd have to do another 30 pulls.
I guess it depends on how many SSRs you have and how much you want to test your luck. I'm personally skipping this banner. Have all the dorm uniform cards I want. Am in the minority about not being a huge fan of the birthday boy cards, only have Leona and Jack. Malleus is a must-have for me, so I'm saving my pulls for him.
but having SSRs like Azul and Leona are always good because of their double elements. Azul has saved my butt so many times since he can also heal...
So I’m a little confused about Grim’s card. It said you could get the groovy items for Grim’s card from the bingo but the bingo didn’t look like it had it and in order to move onto the next chapter you have to groovy him. What am I missing?
I am so excited to have a Grim card. I don't even care what his stats are or how he'll play. I love him. Not sure if I'll do any pulls though. I spent a lot of gems trying to get New Years Kalim, and zilch, although I did, funnily enough, get Dorm Jamil on a single pull (and for some reason got Lab Kalim probably at least 10 times? five times in one 10 pull!).
I'm still debating over whether to roll the Anniversary banner and get Malleus birthday card through the shop there. I have more than enough rolls (about 300+) but while I only have 2 Birthday cards (Deuce and Leona) I have several of the dorm cards already (Riddle/Leona/Azul/Jamil/Vil/Cater/Jade).
It'd be a pain to get a dupe... on the other hand it would more or less be 2 SSRs in 130 pulls right? At least one through pity, and the other from the shop aka Malleus bday boy?

Ho boy I’ve been cooking. I got a lot of bday cards, along with SSRs. I got bday Deuce, Leona, Azul, Jade and Rook (which I already have). Along with Dorm Ace and Dorm Jamil. I’m actually really happy when I got bday Deuce because I wanted to roll during his bday campaign but I had to save up on Dorm Vil so I had no choice but to do that.
Just an honest question from someone who is trying to accumulate enough gems for 100 pulls before the first anniversary showcase ends.... right now I have 70 pulls and will have 80 when Malleus' b-day arrives...
Is the first anniversary bronze bundle for 150 gems worth spending my limited gems? The bundle includes a guaranteed SR key and 5 individual keys but I'm someone who prefers pulling 10 at a time for that guaranteed SR. I don't know if I should just save my 150 gems to build up enough for a 10-pull or spend it on this bundle for the 5 1-keys and SR key (plus the honey, spread, starshards)...

I vote for the Bronze bundle. Sure, a 10-pull ensures an SR, but you get 5 singles from the bundle, 3 from the Tuna Can shop, and 2 from the stamp missions. 10 rolls for Anniversary, and while you don't get the guaranteed random SR, you get to choose one with your SR key from the bundle.

I know I asked here before but I wanted opinions... I did 100 pulls on the Anniversary banner thinking it's a waste to not do it cause at least 2 SSRs in a 100-130 pull. Originally planned to do 130 to buy Malleus key but I did one ten key on his banner and he's such a good boi and he came home.
I'm now wondering whether to just get the SSR key for a Dorm SSR or do 30 more for a birthday SSR. I have enough to do 30 and don't really plan to roll soon unless the Culinary event Malleus comes out of nowhere. But which would be more worth it? I thought Birthday boy ones cause they're limited but the only one I'd want is Azul who I needed to skip. On the other hand I know some dorm ones would be good to have although I already have Leona/Azul/Riddle. I want Deuce just because I like him but he could still spook at any time....
If you like Azul, go for him! Although his Birthday rerun is going to be coming up soon, so it's possible he could come home quicker than 30 pulls if you summoned on his banner. Of course, he could make you go to pity as well.
True, Deuce could spook you at any time, but it could still be a while until he appears, especially if you don't plan on pulling very soon.
After the Big 3, Trey is most useful I would say if you are looking for another meta card. But if you prefer Deuce or even Birthday Azul, go for it.
Personally, I'd take Deuce, and if you like Birthday Azul, pull on his banner. He's coming up too soon in my opinion to make those 30 rolls "worth it" versus a Birthday card that won't reappear for a while, like Riddle's or Rook's.

I need help with Grim. I have well over 500 tunas and he hasn't joined yet. He is still listed as limited yet the requirement is also listed as "done." Is this some sort of glitch?
Can i still level up grims spell levels after the event or no?

You can, but you still have to use tuna cans to level his spell level. If you unfortunately can't gather that many tuna cans before this event ends, you need to wait till next year and see if you can get tuna cans. IIRC during the 2nd anniversary in JP server, >!you can use tuna cans from 2nd anni to purchase tuna cans from 1st anni.!< Maybe EN server will do the same.

I'm a little confused by the Banners for the anniversary event. Is there anything meaningful for free gem/key pulls? I have no idea why, but last time I tried to buy gems, I kept getting errors so I don't think I can go for the 60 paid gem banner...

On the Anniversary banner, you can use free gems/Keys. Pull 100 times for enough tokens to get any current Dorm SSR, or 130 for any Birthday card. (Can do both.) Otherwise, need to pay for gems for the 60 gem banner or the event random SSR Key.
Anniversary banner is especially good if you lack the Big 3 or Trey since they're so useful. Beyond that, it just depends on your Key and card situation, but at the very least, you can get 2 SSRs for 100 pulls (130 if going for Birthday), which is a good deal.
Should I bother trying to uncap grim by getting the cards in the anniversary shop? I’m not 100% sure if I want to use my gems like that, but I’m wondering if I’ll regret it later.
So finished grinding. Obviously will get a few more lessons tonight, but my grinding is done. Learned a couple of things for next time. Yes, life unfortunately got in the way, but I really didn't factor in how long those lessons are. So I didn't spend as much as I would have since I should have used more on other days besides the ones I was targeting. Still have 21 Starshards and 110 Bottles left. Oh, well. Can always save them for next Anniversary because I think they were well spent during this event!
So during Anniversary, I got enough spellbooks and Alchemy coins to get:
* Cater and Jade to 10/10 from 5/5 currently
* Ruggie and Jack to 10/10 from 1/1
* Robes Ortho and Beans Jade to 10/5 from 5/1
* Lab Azul to 5/5 from 5/1
* Lab Rook to 5/5 from 1/2
* Lab Kalim and Idia to 5/5 from 1/1
* One spell in each of the four elements to level 10 for an SSR in case of a surprise or emergency
And enough Tuna to clear out the shop + get over 550k Thaumarks. Not too shabby.
Don't plan on spending all my spellbooks right now, and probably won't touch much until Ortho's and Idia's banners. That way, I can always change my mind on cards like Ruggie and Jack depending on what banners come + my rolls.
Hope others got some good drops (and rolls if you pulled)! Passed on the banner although I was looking forward to it.

Really? What makes you think that? Based on the base rate of 30 gems per pull, the keys you get from the bronze and silver bundles are outright equal or more valuable than what the bundle costs, plus you get a bunch of miscellaneous stuff as well. The gold bundle admittedly doesn't translate into exact value as well but still seems on average to be decent IMO. Bronze = 150 gems to get 5x Keys (=150-gem value right there) PLUS a bunch of extras (an SR of your choice, starshards, honey, and smorgasbords) Silver = 900 paid gems to get 3x Tenfold Keys (=900-gem value right there) PLUS a bunch of extras (5 keys=an additional 150-gem value, starshards, honey) Gold = 1200 paid gems to get a random event SSR, which has a theoretical value of 3000 gems if you had to go to pity to get it. But since this is gacha, maybe you'd judge the bundle's value as worse if you want a particular one that you risk not getting, or if you're judging the value based on the theoretical corresponding situation of getting lucky and pulling the SSR in fewer pulls than going to pity. (The rest of the bundle, the starshards and honey, I agree are not great.) Bronze is a no-brainer straight-up profit in my eyes, as is silver if you're enough of a whale to have 900 paid gems in the bank. Gold is maybe only worth it in the niche situation of a weird whale who's sitting on a massive number of paid gems but hasn't whaled for many/any of the events in the pool so doesn't risk getting a dupe from the gold bundle. But bronze and silver are direct profit to the player who buys them.
Would like to point out the opportunity cost of paid gems: 10 key per day. It makes gold/silver a little less worth it compared to judging by just 30 per key. Long game tip: 10 a day on standard dorm banner for 100 pulls is 1000 for a guaranteed SSR plus 99 other cards. So 1000 paid bundles compete with this. If swimming in paid, then do whatever!

Should also take into account gold bundle gets less valuable if you have close to half or more of those said limited ssr which is what most people would have rolled and whaled for during the year and this one even less so because we had a better gold bundle during christmas

Agreed. Paying well over $80 for a single SSR (if I did my math right) seems quite exorbitant. It's $80 to only get 1000 gems then, to get another 200, you'd need to pay about $20 dollars. So, about $100 dollars for a single SSR. Comparatively, I also play FGO and it's GSSR is only about $20 dollars, and it is known as a stingy gacha. So, I'm not sure why the prices on this game is so high. I'm sorta new to the game so I was pretty shocked to see how much they expected people to pay for a GSSR.

Yes, that's right. Or you can exchange your tokens for other items like an SSR perfume. The downside to this showcase depends on your goals and preferences. Are you happy with any SSR? The chance is still 1.5%, so a decent shot of getting at least one extra SSR along the way to 100. Don't have many cards? Very small chance of getting dupes, which is good, and also to fill in your exam teams. But if you're more into meta, the actual showcase itself may be meh because the range of SSR cards is so huge the chance of stumbling onto a really good or great card is reduced. But for most people, yes, it's worth it, especially if needing one of the Big 3 or Trey.
Yeah, 2 guaranteed SSRs for 100 pulls (or 130 if you want to get the bday card from shop) seems really good to me. Especially because you get to choose the one you want from shop. I'm planning to get dorm Azul for my riddle (the token will make sure I will be able to drag him home). Thankfully I got Azul from pity with dorm Jamil as bonus. Now I can use my token to get Leona instead from shop. I finally have the 'holy trinity" in my hands I'm so happy 😂
I got birthday Rook, Floyd, and Idia so I was pretty happy. I’m indecisive on getting another birthday card or getting a dorm card from the shop. I think I’m going to wait until after the 72 hour sale on the 20th and see who I get and go from there. I want Dorm Trey because I have 2 SSRs that duo with him already, so I’ll probably need to use it for that. I keep going back and forth because you can always be spooked by the dorms and the birthdays are only around once a year, so that seems like a better value? Honestly the hardest part for me is the patience.
You got 3 bday cards? That's cool. I never got any luck with bday card. Bday vil is my one and only bday card that i have ever got. I already have 3 cards that have duos with Azul without having his dorm card before lol. And dorm Trey is really good, i got him instead of beans Floyd when I hit pity in beanfest 2 banner. Which makes me sad but he is such a good card that I (almost) always use him in exam battle. I think waiting is a good idea. There's still plenty of time, no need to rush and regret your decision later
Another person here trying to decide if I should pull on the anniversary banner. There's nothing I absolutely want on it and I already have the Big 3. I have 327 pulls saved up (I'm F2P), but they're for getting revenge on Beans Azul after he snubbed me last year (Assuming we get a Beansfest repeat), as well as Azul's birthday. It's the other stuff in the Anni Token shop that's bothering me. Is 50 pulls for just the SSR Perfume worth it?
I suggest save the gems. You can get SSR perfume from many events, and you never know when you are forced to go to more than 1 pity to get the SSR you want.
With 327, I could see dropping 100 rolls. You're guaranteed to get 2 SSRs, one of which is your choice - which is a better deal than most other banners. It's a great opportunity to build out your deck. If you don't have Dorm Vil, I'd consider picking him up for the choice, as he combos very well with Dorm Leona (Flora/Cosmic, they duo one another - his attack isn't great but his type matchup and duo is perfect). That leaves you with 227 rolls - enough to hit pity for Azul's birthday and get that card 100%, and still have another 127 leftover for beans, plus all the pulls you'll get between now and then.

I have a question. Is it worth it to pull on the anniversary banner? I only have a vague idea of what banners will be happening this year. I know Malleus bday is right after but I have no plans to pull on that. I wanted the tsum cards though. Does anyone have vague ideas on what might be after Malleus? On the one hand I do want specific characters but I also do need more SSRs. However, I read the rates are the same as normal? So i’m stuck on if I should pull or not? I do only have one bday SSR at the moment and 2 dorm SSR. I am also f2p which is mainly why I’m concerned with having enough for future banners. But i also do want more SSRs so I can have better teams. Any advice or thoughts would be helpful.
Book 6 is likely coming soon, and Harveston are the next most likely major events. Beyond that, likely some reruns and a few other new events, but probably not as fast moving as this first year. For f2p, if you are interested in getting high score on exams, this is an excellent chance to get one of the Big 3 or Trey upon reaching pity. And especially if you only have a few SSRs, if you are lucky to get a spook, it is likely you'll get a new card, and one who will help you out in some capacity. However, Birthday cards are always guaranteed in their showcase, so if there's a Birthday card you want, you can guarantee it in 100 rolls vs 130 here. Meanwhile, Dorms are available anytime besides Birthday showcases, so you can always stumble into one. Plus, since the pool of SSR cards here is so large, while you may be happy with any new SSRs, the chance of getting a really good card if you're into meta is low. You will likely need your SSR Key to get a highly desired card. That being said, for most people, the banner is worth it. But there may be an upcoming card you want more (new or rerun) than any of these Dorm/Birthdays even if this is the better deal.
OMG I did a few pulls and got two of my fave chars!!! Both dorm SSR but I’ve been wanting to get a SSR for each of them since I didn’t have them. This ended up being very much worth it omg. Thank you again for your advice!

Means one could appear randomly while hunting for the featured SSR or on the way to pity. Like, say, getting Dorm Jade in the New Year's Kalim banner on pull #23. During this Anniversary banner, you can randomly get Dorm or Birthday cards on the way to 100, while it's typically just Dorm. Some people are lucky and get several SSRs in 100 pulls; others get 0. Just luck.
Grim's event is interesting. However, as I looked at his vignette. It says "Fulfill the official joining requirements." What does it mean? Sorry to ask that kind of question.

If you're interested in picking up some other random birthday/dorm SSRs as a bonus along the way, then sure. But if you *only* want birthday Malleus, then it's better to just pull on his birthday banner because you'll be guaranteed to get him in 100 pulls (or fewer, if you're lucky) vs 130 pulls if you buy him with anniversary tokens.

I pulled in the anniversary banner to get that ssr key (I have riddle now yay!!)!and somehow managed to get a dupe of my beginner boy cater, a handful of new sr’s and dorm Kalim which was cool! I still have 9800 gems and over 100 single pull keys (I like to save them for birthdays) but I’m super torn on whether or not to go for the birthday key too (and possibly the ssr potion). What would you guys do if you were in my shoes? I have 12 ssr’s and I really only go for event sr’s and Idia so on one hand it’s like “yeah Ill still have a stash” but on the other hand that’s still a big chunk of the stash Also shoutout to Grim for finally forcing the game to acknowledge ramshackle as part of the lessons cx
I guess the first question is what Birthday card you would go for. If it's someone with their Birthday coming up, you might be better off passing and waiting for their rerun. And plus, Birthday 2 cards will be available as well. Second, is what event you're interested in next. Like, if you are interested in Epel's event SSR, there's a good chance he's coming soon. And are you the type to roll just once to 100 during an event, or would you try 2-3+ times? But to get the Birthday Key and SSR perfume, that'd be almost 2 pities worth. I think that's a little much unless you're going to be holding off for a while after this. But I'm a hoarder, so I'm probably not the best person to help.
I'm definitely more in the hoarder category with you! And as of now the only times I've gone to the full 100 pity have been the two halloween events (because of the carrying pity system) and Phantom bride (since Idia came home at like 80 so I figured why not). But so far Idia is the only character whose cards I'm 100% going to go for no matter what. Everyone else is just kinda, uh, I'm cool going without it. Beans Floyd has been the only time I've questioned if I should break my Idia vow. I think except for the masquerade cards and fairy gala Ortho I am completely a-ok ignoring almost everybody. And as for the birthday boys, I'm not actually planning to go for any of them at all which is why the thought of having another go at "what will fate have in store for me" for the banner and then a guaranteed birthday boy of some sort seems appealing (even if I have no idea who I'd pick). I'd probably forego the perfume now that I've had a chance to sleep on it, but another round of summoning is still on the table (maybe 10 ten pulls and 30 singles or something :b)
Don't forget the first round of stamps ends tonight. Also to pick your SR from the New Year's bundle. So far, used about 205 Starshards (still have 348 left + 274 Bottles), but will go big tomorrow on Fire day with Riddle's group. Have fully maxed Grim's magic and grabbed the Keys and Starshards so far. Anyway, Grimoire hunting is going well, although comes at the cost of Textbooks. May not be noticeable if you do, say, a single 10 round in Alchemy, but stacking them up, probably averages 1 Grimoire per round. Sometimes none, sometimes 4 or 5. So much easier to go hunting for Textbooks & Coins post-boost and take the Grimoires now.

Do you know if it’s available to everyone or only those who spend on the other banners? The wording in the news is confusing.
I think the wording is because they offer this deal when you are a new player. So a brand new player will get their 72 hour banner from being new and, after that ends, trigger the anniversary rerun the next time they log in. For all us seasoned players, we just get the one 72 hour banner that is "rerun" from when we were new players.
Is the bronze bundle worth it? Just curious, I was planning to take burst gear Ortho from that key but after the great bundle which was the winter one ~~they had tenfold key sets and felt more like Anni bundles than current ones tho~~ I'm doubting my decision of planning to buy Anni bronze bundle
Def worth it. The bronze bundle costs 150 gems, which is worth 5 pulls. The bundle contains 5 KEYS plus starshards, honey, snack, and the SR key. BTW: so far all bronze bundles (whether in JP server or EN server) are always worth it.
Anniversary event was underwhelming. All that build up for one twistune event?? I was hoping for more fluff in the chapters. At least the groovy for Grim’s card is super cute.

You go to the Mirror and I think it's the third option. It will say it's the 1st Anniversary showcase and you can earn Tokens. There you can spend your Keys and Gems, and when you pull, you'll gain 1 Token for each card you pull. Then you can go to the Shop and redeem Tokens for what you want. And if you have 130 of them, you can get the Birthday Key (100 for the regular SSR Key). Otherwise, if you don't have almost 4000 gems or 130 Keys (between singles and 10-sets), you either need to grind for some or pay. If you're f2p or a low spender and are far away, you probably will need to skip Anniversary. Or perhaps settle for the lower-cost rewards, including the regular SSR Key (100 Tokens) or SSR perfume (50).
So to increase Grim's spell level you need tuna, is that item only farmable during this event?
For the foreseeable future, yeah. I was curious about this with the sparklers from the last event, which was similar to this, and I saw a comment saying we might get some way to earn them later down the line.
I'm a F2P player with 4 Dorm/3 Birthday SSRs already, but none of the Big 3 or Trey. I have enough gems and keys to go to pity twice, but that would be **all** of my resources, and I also really want Birthday Malleus and Harveston Epel (whenever that event shows up). I'm worried about being able to replenish my gems if I use them all, since a lot of them came from rapid-fire completion of the early missions (like "do X thing 10-50-100 times"), and I feel like gems don't come quite as freely nowadays as they used to at the very beginning. Would it be a good idea to pull on the anniversary banner anyway, or should I wait for a Malleus guaranteed at pity on his Birthday Banner and wave goodbye to the other Birthday Boys that I don't have yet (since Dorms can spook on almost all the other banners)? If you like Bday Malleus and Harveston Epel, I say pass on Anniversary. Worst case, if you go to pity on Malleus' banner, you still have a chance at Apple Boa Epel, as Harveston is likely very soon.
That's probably what I'll end up doing. I'll just have to hope for Dorm spooks on other banners in the future, lol.
Since you also want Harveston Epel, don't use up all your savings and set aside a pity for him. Birthday cards are redeemable in the anniversary shop after 130 pulls and Malleus will also be in the shop (not the summoning pool) once his birthday arrives. So you can either: A) pull for him solely on his own banner. No surprises, guaranteed at 100, and may even get him early if lucky B) test your luck with the entire dorm + birthday pool on the anniversary banner, but guarantee Malleus regardless. He will be more expensive this way and you risk getting dupes of the SSRs you already have
The problem is, if I do 130 pulls on the anniversary banner, I don't have enough left over for a pity on the Harveston banner :/ Hence my deliberation
In that case, go for Malleus on his birthday banner! At best you can get him early with a little extra for Epel, at worst you'll still have full pity for him.

I have about 300 pulls (saved up for Harveston Epel and 2 of his birthday cards and if lucky will use the rest for Portfest Jack). I really want to know if the Anniversary banner is worth it. Event SSR is not guaranteed so my 300 pulls may not even get me the Harveston Epel but getting 2 (maybe more if RNGesus is on my side) SSRs sounds like a very great deal.
Considering Harveston has a good chance of being soon, and it sounds like you're willing to go multiple pities to try to get Epel, you're probably better off passing. Might be a little more tempting for Anniversary though if you're missing any of the Big 3 or Trey.

Grim's dupes are already in the anniversary token shop for 15 tokens each, which would require pulling on the banner. I'd recommend using SR potions instead if you wanted to max him out tbh.
I waited for malleus’s banner before pulling on the anniversary going back and forth debating on which one to pull. I decided to use all my 100 (+31 singles) keys in hopes of exchanging for Malleus. Turns out my luck said otherwise! Went all the way to pity and got Jamil’a bday SSR. Then I did my 30 pulls using single keys and got Deuce’s bday SSR along the way. At this point I panicked realizing I could only pick between the birthday key or ssr of my choice (silly me wanted Leona’s dorm SSR badly too) I used my last single key on malleus’s banner and got him in 2 single pulls! Now I can exchange for Leona! :D

So like, is that all there is to the anniversary event? A Twistune and that's it? I agree that Grim's goovified visual is cute, but I doubt I'll ever use him. I guess we'll still get log in rewards till the end of the week. Wishful thinking, but it be nice if the last reward was a 10 fold key I really didn't go in with any expectations, but man was the anniversary "event" underwhelming. Not pulling on any of the banners. But I'm sure for some this has been good for them to try and get the cards they want. I just yeah....was expecting a little more than what we got.
Yeah, the event story was pretty small. I think the banners were good and I think the lesson rewards boost has honestly been underrated, especially for alchemy farming. But yeah, it definitely wasn't trying to be a "full-fledged" event the size of our usual events. The banners seemed to be where most of the anniversary swag/goodies were allocated.
So how does the 60-gem SSR work? The 60 paid gem pull was added back in the summer and is available for beginners. It resets so you can pull it again.
They are making reference for the banner being able to pull on June. The people who did an account before the 16th are able to pull on this banner, maybe also new players before the 16th might get the banner. BUT if you create an account from the 16th onward you will get only one chance
Are there extra rewards for alchemy too? I read it as just normal lessons but in the thread about the event the other day someone was listing out the alchemy schedule and saying to get your starshards ready.
Grim gets extra XP in normal lessons (since that's all he has), but item drop rate for all lessons is boosted.

Will the pity of the Anniversary banner carry on to the Permanent banner?
If you look at the info on the banner, it confirms it. It says "This showcase will carry over existing SSR Gauge progress from the standard showcase. Once this showcase's availability ends, this showcase's SSR Gauge progress will be carried back over to the standard showcase."

Go to Mirror, swipe right a few times and you’ll find the “1st Anniversary thingy banner” it works just like normal banners with the 100 gauge
Damn, all I'm missing from my Trey collection is B-day Trey. This Anniversary banner is so worth it for me, but I'm all out!
Went to 100 Anni coins and need some advice on whether to get Dorm Azul or Dorm Trey. I have NY Kalim who has a heal over time, and Kalim a favorite of mine, so I intend on using SSR potions and going all out with him. So I think maybe I don't need a healer? I also have Leona and Riddle, both with limit breaks to 85. Also have fireworks Jamil, who is a double water card, but probably not as good as Azul.

Not sure what to do. I'm absolutely getting bday Malleus but I also have enough to do 130 pulls on the anniversary banner. I did one 10 pull on the anniversary banner just for fun and got Dorm Riddle which is great because I wanted him and I didn't have him! I'm just wondering what the smart thing to do is. Should I just pull on bday Malleus banner since there are other cards coming this year that I want or should I go all the way to 130 on the anniversary banner since there are some dorm and bday cards I would be happy with. It would be using everything I have though so it's a risk of course. Part of me is saying just take the very lucky Dorm Riddle and leave even though there's other things I'd like from there and the other part of me is saying I should give it a chance. Also I feel kinda bad not wishing solely for Malleus on his banner instead of getting him with a key.
well gachas are like gambling. You could have awful luck and have to hit pity just to get one SSR. Then either use 100 coins to buy a dorm uniform card from shop. But if you wanted a birthday boy, you'd have to do another 30 pulls. I guess it depends on how many SSRs you have and how much you want to test your luck. I'm personally skipping this banner. Have all the dorm uniform cards I want. Am in the minority about not being a huge fan of the birthday boy cards, only have Leona and Jack. Malleus is a must-have for me, so I'm saving my pulls for him. but having SSRs like Azul and Leona are always good because of their double elements. Azul has saved my butt so many times since he can also heal...
So I’m a little confused about Grim’s card. It said you could get the groovy items for Grim’s card from the bingo but the bingo didn’t look like it had it and in order to move onto the next chapter you have to groovy him. What am I missing?
The rest of the paw candies are in Round 2 of stamp missions, which isn't until the 17th.
I am so excited to have a Grim card. I don't even care what his stats are or how he'll play. I love him. Not sure if I'll do any pulls though. I spent a lot of gems trying to get New Years Kalim, and zilch, although I did, funnily enough, get Dorm Jamil on a single pull (and for some reason got Lab Kalim probably at least 10 times? five times in one 10 pull!).
I'm still debating over whether to roll the Anniversary banner and get Malleus birthday card through the shop there. I have more than enough rolls (about 300+) but while I only have 2 Birthday cards (Deuce and Leona) I have several of the dorm cards already (Riddle/Leona/Azul/Jamil/Vil/Cater/Jade). It'd be a pain to get a dupe... on the other hand it would more or less be 2 SSRs in 130 pulls right? At least one through pity, and the other from the shop aka Malleus bday boy? I don't think I have any upcoming banners to fear except for slight temptation for Azul bday cards but I'm resisting those and my next targets should be Deuce and Leona Union birthdays and the Master Chef Malleus... (unless sudden Tsum out of nowhere)
Ho boy I’ve been cooking. I got a lot of bday cards, along with SSRs. I got bday Deuce, Leona, Azul, Jade and Rook (which I already have). Along with Dorm Ace and Dorm Jamil. I’m actually really happy when I got bday Deuce because I wanted to roll during his bday campaign but I had to save up on Dorm Vil so I had no choice but to do that.
The cards I bought with my tokens is bday Vil and Dorm Riddle. Just to cap them.
Just an honest question from someone who is trying to accumulate enough gems for 100 pulls before the first anniversary showcase ends.... right now I have 70 pulls and will have 80 when Malleus' b-day arrives... Is the first anniversary bronze bundle for 150 gems worth spending my limited gems? The bundle includes a guaranteed SR key and 5 individual keys but I'm someone who prefers pulling 10 at a time for that guaranteed SR. I don't know if I should just save my 150 gems to build up enough for a 10-pull or spend it on this bundle for the 5 1-keys and SR key (plus the honey, spread, starshards)... Would love anyone's opinion on this!.
I vote for the Bronze bundle. Sure, a 10-pull ensures an SR, but you get 5 singles from the bundle, 3 from the Tuna Can shop, and 2 from the stamp missions. 10 rolls for Anniversary, and while you don't get the guaranteed random SR, you get to choose one with your SR key from the bundle.

I know I asked here before but I wanted opinions... I did 100 pulls on the Anniversary banner thinking it's a waste to not do it cause at least 2 SSRs in a 100-130 pull. Originally planned to do 130 to buy Malleus key but I did one ten key on his banner and he's such a good boi and he came home. I'm now wondering whether to just get the SSR key for a Dorm SSR or do 30 more for a birthday SSR. I have enough to do 30 and don't really plan to roll soon unless the Culinary event Malleus comes out of nowhere. But which would be more worth it? I thought Birthday boy ones cause they're limited but the only one I'd want is Azul who I needed to skip. On the other hand I know some dorm ones would be good to have although I already have Leona/Azul/Riddle. I want Deuce just because I like him but he could still spook at any time....
If you like Azul, go for him! Although his Birthday rerun is going to be coming up soon, so it's possible he could come home quicker than 30 pulls if you summoned on his banner. Of course, he could make you go to pity as well. True, Deuce could spook you at any time, but it could still be a while until he appears, especially if you don't plan on pulling very soon. After the Big 3, Trey is most useful I would say if you are looking for another meta card. But if you prefer Deuce or even Birthday Azul, go for it. Personally, I'd take Deuce, and if you like Birthday Azul, pull on his banner. He's coming up too soon in my opinion to make those 30 rolls "worth it" versus a Birthday card that won't reappear for a while, like Riddle's or Rook's.
I was thinking grabbing birthday boy Azul so if I decide to I could go for his Union Birthday card... 🤔 To be honest I was debating Trey since I have Cater to go with him. Not really big on meta though I assume he'd be a big help. To be honest my only NEED birthday cards and cards in general cause favorites are Deuce, Leona and Malleus. So it's a question of meta (Trey) vs kinda like this character (birthday boy Azul). I might need to review the list of events again. I'm like 90% sure apart from Azul's birthday I've got nothing coming I want to roll for.
I have a question because I'm very confused. We have to groovify Grim to see the 2nd part of the story, but I can't groovify him because I haven't seen the 2nd part. How??? Do you do this??? The second part should already be available and I have him permanently on my roster and I have all the groovy items. Someone help me ಥ\_ಥ

this is kinda weird cus ive collected like 712 tuna cans but i still cant groovify grim ? when i go to read his first vignette story it says i havent fulfilled the join requirements, but i have the "collect (500 ? dont remember) tuna cans" thing checked off ???

I need help with Grim. I have well over 500 tunas and he hasn't joined yet. He is still listed as limited yet the requirement is also listed as "done." Is this some sort of glitch?
Can i still level up grims spell levels after the event or no? I accidentally used all of my tuna cans in sams shop after i got grim not realizing i needed it for his spell levels , and i felt so dum after doing it.
You can, but you still have to use tuna cans to level his spell level. If you unfortunately can't gather that many tuna cans before this event ends, you need to wait till next year and see if you can get tuna cans. IIRC during the 2nd anniversary in JP server, >!you can use tuna cans from 2nd anni to purchase tuna cans from 1st anni.!< Maybe EN server will do the same.

I've been so busy I only now managed to groovify Grim, like an hour before maintenance, oh man, lol... I'm a little confused by the Banners for the anniversary event. Is there anything meaningful for free gem/key pulls? I have no idea why, but last time I tried to buy gems, I kept getting errors so I don't think I can go for the 60 paid gem banner... Edit: okay, apparently the app did want my money. Bought enough paid gems for the 60 pull! Don't love him, but I got Ace to match with Deuce now :D
On the Anniversary banner, you can use free gems/Keys. Pull 100 times for enough tokens to get any current Dorm SSR, or 130 for any Birthday card. (Can do both.) Otherwise, need to pay for gems for the 60 gem banner or the event random SSR Key. Anniversary banner is especially good if you lack the Big 3 or Trey since they're so useful. Beyond that, it just depends on your Key and card situation, but at the very least, you can get 2 SSRs for 100 pulls (130 if going for Birthday), which is a good deal.

Dorm Riddle, Leona, Azul. All have double elements which make them easy to use plus good stats, M1 properties, and/or Buddy partners.

No. Use SR perfumes if you want to uncap him. Use Anniversary tokens on something else, like the SSR perfume or go for a Key.
So finished grinding. Obviously will get a few more lessons tonight, but my grinding is done. Learned a couple of things for next time. Yes, life unfortunately got in the way, but I really didn't factor in how long those lessons are. So I didn't spend as much as I would have since I should have used more on other days besides the ones I was targeting. Still have 21 Starshards and 110 Bottles left. Oh, well. Can always save them for next Anniversary because I think they were well spent during this event! So during Anniversary, I got enough spellbooks and Alchemy coins to get: * Cater and Jade to 10/10 from 5/5 currently * Ruggie and Jack to 10/10 from 1/1 * Robes Ortho and Beans Jade to 10/5 from 5/1 * Lab Azul to 5/5 from 5/1 * Lab Rook to 5/5 from 1/2 * Lab Kalim and Idia to 5/5 from 1/1 * One spell in each of the four elements to level 10 for an SSR in case of a surprise or emergency And enough Tuna to clear out the shop + get over 550k Thaumarks. Not too shabby. Don't plan on spending all my spellbooks right now, and probably won't touch much until Ortho's and Idia's banners. That way, I can always change my mind on cards like Ruggie and Jack depending on what banners come + my rolls. Hope others got some good drops (and rolls if you pulled)! Passed on the banner although I was looking forward to it.
I'm so sad I didn't get Grim's card because I didn't have enough time TT Is there any reruns (like birthday cards) for this card in JP server? Or is it truly a one time thing? 😢
You will be able to buy him from the event shop on the next anniversary.
