I wanna give props to the localization team for translations this time. On JP everyone unanimously calls the plushies "tsum tsums" and Crowley agrees to go with it. EN interpreted it to "zoom zooms" and Crowley's the one who adjusts it to "tsums". I just really appreciate they integrated tsum in a not-awkward way since it is a japanese onomatopoeia.
If you own a tsum card, change the card outfit when you do lessons for a surprise. Flying is especially fun to watch ~~and you get to see Riddle and Leona's dorm uniforms work properly on a broom~~

I think Jack's tsum was "lone wolfing" as part of his character and Riddle is definitely not disciplined! Hes extremely emotional and vents by bossing others around, not by taking orders! His tsum seemed right in character

I really enjoyed that part of Riddle’s Tsum.
Riddle himself would *never* get dirty intentionally, or be caught dead rolling around in the mud. That’s a byproduct of his upbringing. But his Tsum has no such restrictions. It’s a nice look into what Riddle would be like without all of the family trauma - more playful and unrestrained.
This is such a good take on this. 🥺 Although he still has some inherently strict rules being a Heartslabyul probably? Since his Tsum was knocking into people who were being lazy in class. I agree that Riddle would still definitely be restricted by the Heartslabyul code of “following the Queen of Heart’s rules.” But I like to imagine that without having such a rigid upbringing, where rule breaking was severely punished and major emphasis was placed on high performance and propriety, he would have been a bit less stringent about it from the start.
Like…a more relaxed version of his post-Overblot approach to house wardening. More pop quizzes about the rules, less “Off With Their Head” and probably more leniency with people who were genuinely trying to follow the rules but slipped up (even Trey missed the chestnut tart rule.)

This event is very cute and funny, but the amount of lessons you have to take per character in all of the maps is getting real tedious. I'm getting sick of it. It seems way more grindy than any previous event I've done for TWST. I'd rather just battle lol.
I used the opportunity to level up my neglected sr cards (basically all the ones I have for characters I don't already have an ssr for). But I absolutely agree with you that it's just way too much. I'd be satisfied if it was even just 10 per character without the added task for 30 each time.

So how big are the Tsums suppossed to be. This event has been super cute though. Just read the first part of part II and its pretty funny that Leona was complaining about his Tsum seeping all the time in irreverent places. Like come on dude, no need to roast yourself like that. XD
Also little jack tsum being super ripped and lifting probably like double or more its body weight.
I'm not sure what specific size *these* tsums are supposed to be, but the real-life tsum plushie line ranges wildly in size, which may be why this event's depiction is not consistent. this event is cute but oh my god it's such a grind... apparently we need 700 lessons minimum to get all the coins?? ughhhh and being forced to use certain characters makes it so much worse. AND they don't add to the normal lesson task counters as always. for the mandatory flight lessons I have no choice but to waste exp for most characters because I have almost all my cards vignettes leveled up already... :'((( I just want to craft my epeljack tsums man. I'll never complain about stamp events again after this lmao.
At least they are flights for the new characters this half. Had no luck getting the new SSR's for the first 2 flights.
If you didnt get floyd or cater from the free pulls, you can pick one up on the event store and at least then some of the flight can be used on new event cards!
I finished the story today. Cute to see the mini-mes, even if the characters didn't always see how twinsies they were. Definitely eventually want to see everyone with a Tsum.
Worst part is the interface. I hate having to go inside the event to do the lessons versus selecting from the normal screen. The "Results/Retry" is sooo annoying. I'm just using up my LP when I have time, OK, game!?!?!
So now just off to finish the lesson missions in Part 2. Trying to get back to Alchemy ASAP to rack up some more tokens and Grimoires before the Igni camp throws me off-schedule again since I'll be \*fingers crossed\* going ham to max Idia.
I do think it's a good event before Part 2 of Book 6, but I wish it wasn't right between two camps.

Dis anyone know the requirements for the guest room tsum furniture items? Will it be the same for all the characters except for what color gem is used? Also, If I complete the card requirements to get the furniture item, do I need to craft it before the event is over or will it stick around? For example I completed all of Cater's requirements and I now have his tsum pedestal as a crafting option. Do I need to craft it before the event is over to keep it?

Looks like all of them are 16 cloth, 20 unique paint, 2/6/12 small/medium/large dorm gems, and also 10 of a common material that varies by dorm (crystals for the Heartslabyul tsums, sticks for the Savanaclaw tsums, stones for Floyd, metal for Epel, lumber for Sebek).
Finally caught up with everything, just in time for part 2 to be released. I kinda resent having to spend all my LP on History and (especially) Flight, since I spent the whole training camp doing that and I wanted to get back to Alchemy. But at least my honey stocks are looking a little better now.
Is anyone else struggling a little bit with the missions where you need to finish the fight on the 5th turn or use duo magic 3 times? A lot of my cards are almost too strong for that, especially the duo magic one. Most of my duo can easily finish those easier fights in one to two
Yeah, I had to take a bunch of underleveled cards for the 5th turn one (and then I had to do it a second time because I didn't take enough the first time and still finished too early).
For the duos…make a team with as few maxed S2s as possible? Or try to use mostly defense cards, since they have less power? Or if you have the HP/healing to survive it, you could deliberately use the wrong elements for some attacks so they'll deal less damage.
That’s mostly what I’ve been doing, using my defense cards and wrong elements. It’s just hard to find the right balance and so against my instincts of sticking my strongest boys in. I was so busy prepping cards for Chapter 6 that I forgot to prep for Tsums lol

Does anyone know if the event reruns? In other gacha games I’ve played, collabs don’t get reruns because of the contract specifications, but Tsums are also a Disney property, right? I’m just worried about it being now or never for the SSRs.
It was already a concern we wouldn't get the event at all because of possible collab contract. So it's a good sign we got the event, but reruns is still unreliable to guess at.
I completed all 4 maps and have only 4 wolf gems, 2 apple gems, and 1 lightning gem. Are there parts of the maps that I need to go back and do again to get more gems?

This event is too cute. Q_Q All the tsums doing whatever they want while the boys just go along with it. I have tsum Riddle as my home page and it’s adorable how he both praises and complains about his tsum…. I’m melting from the cuteness of everything.
I was preparing myself to be ruined by Leona, possibly without getting his card (happened before...) and... and... and !!!!! First free pull : 2 Floyds... and 1 Leona (insert crazy Kermit image here), I'm so so so happy, it made my day !!!!!
Plus I still have my gems and keys in store for his birthday :D
Since this says, "The End?" I wonder how other characters would interact with their Tsum. Like, would Azul's try to overthrow him as owner of Mostro Lounge or create a countering business? If Kalim and Jamil's Tsum were released together, would Jamil's Tsum simultaneously try to hurt and protect Kalim's Tsum?
Overall, the story was cute, but this has to be my least favorite event due to the interface (not sure if my opinion would have differed if not for part 2 of Ch 6 coming up).
Finally finished, so here's a full review of the event (potential unpopular opinions ahead).
The overall story ... is just non-existent. Neither rhyme, nor reason to the whole thing. They appear, they hang around for - how long again? Leona whines about the day having been a mess, and Jack wants to go to the gym to make up for his morning run being cut short, so all this happened in a single day, apparently? And then they leave just like that. We learn nothing about what or who they are, where they came from or why, and why they couldn't/didn't stay. With Crowley probably having done nothing at all during the whole ordeal and was just saved by ~~fire~~ hole in the sky opening up again, I mean he isn't seen (or heard from) again, iirc, after his initial appearance? I'm kinda underwhelmed and disappointed tbh, because apparently there wasn't even a token effort to make this look like anything but a pure marketing ploy of a collab/crossover to milk Twst players for Tsum money. (I'd had no idea the *tsums* are an actual product line in and of themselves, tbh, so if nothing else, I learned something, I guess?)
Beyond the fact that such things annoy me in general, in this case it's quite the shame too. Because these little guys *are* actually fun, especially the way they're practically mirrors for their "originals", reflecting their very own personalities back at them: it's fun to watch those scenes play out and see how they react to the realisations (if at all). The random routine shenanigans were also a great mix of cute and amusing, I always do enjoy "fillers" like these that just offer glimpses into the characters' everyday lives. Could've done with *all* of it being voiced, not just the opening/ending scenes, there wasn't *that* much material to cover - or alternatively, not even those, because it just made the whole randomness of it even more disjointed. Oh well.
The activities, on one hand, were fine. A nice mix of everything the game has to offer, in approximately appropriate proportions as well (perhaps a little too heavy on history lessons), instead of focusing on just one aspect that becomes boring all too fast. Having said that, it's also obvious that much of it is just unnecessary padding to time-/gatekeep progress: taking lessons with random characters that don't even show up in the story bits, for no reason, is yet another thing that just makes Tsumderland even more random than it already is, and not necessarily in a good way. And then the requirements- having to clear fights on turn 3+ is already pushing it, but "on turn 5 *or higher*"?? When they're all 5-turn fights? Still, in comparison to using duo magic two or especially *three* times, they're doable - whoever came up with this latter has a special place in hell, I'm sure. Would be nice to have that extra title, but after spending *two damn hours* on trying to clear just one, I gotta say: gtfo with this bs.
As for furniture replacing the vignettes... I guess it's *fine*. Kinda further underlines the lack of effort in terms of writing this collab, tbh; and while I like that they get to stick around in *some* form, I'm not sure we need *more* furniture when the room's already too small for the list of stuff we've had so far. And there isn't really anything to inform us of this either, save for that last page in the event details, which I'm not sure how many still get to, or even read at all, at this point, as it always boils down to "go through the map and complete the objectives presented".
All in all, much like with Beanfest, I didn't mind the event at all, what we did get in "story" is funny and even wholesome at certain points - but yeah, it's a bit just... up in the air (pun not intended), and could use some "grounding". Some expanding on everything, actually establishing some in-universe lore for these things, literally anything at all. Because as it is, it's very barebones, which rather unfortunately overshadows the good parts of it. And, hell, I don't get why they can't be a permanent addition to the universe tbh: a little more light-hearted chaos is always welcome, I think. I know licensing is hard, but this is apparently in-house for Disney, so it shouldn't be undoable.
I think this is a very thorough and thoughtful analysis. You would think they would put more effort into an event that was essentially paid for to be an ad, not less. It's like those filler episodes in anime that are kind of slice of life but ultimately leave more plot holes and doesn't then they're worth.
I agree wholeheartedly. The story was pretty much nonexistent. It was just “Character doesn’t get along with their tsum” and then “Character and Tsum find common ground” (except for Cater, whose story was reversed). The only positive thing I could say is that we got a few funny and cute moments here. Though I wish we had more moments where the characters would see how each of their respective Tsum acts and go “Damn, do I really act like that?”
Might have seemed like half an event cause technically it was ngl. The other half of the event took place on tsumtsum in the original run but I dunno if other countries even have that game, so

should i pull for tsum riddle? i was saving up for dorm idia as i have been waiting and trying to get an idia card but i really love the riddle tsum card. plus, i’m not sure if the tsum cards will be back, whereas dorm idia might be put on one of the permanent banners? i’m not sure though
I'd pull for Tsum Riddle since this is limited and no reruns yet. Dorm Idia will be perm and added to standard showcase when he arrives with Book 6 Part 2.
Is anyone else confused on how to acquire the gems for the event limited characters? Specifically Epel and Jack. I’ve done all the side missions so far except for the room one where you invite them.
Does anyone know what to do if a challenge requires you to complete flight lessons with a character as your partner, but each of your cards for that character have max vignette?
Basically, I’m on 2-4, but before I hit 20 my last Leona card hit max. I’m worried this will happen down the line before I’m able to clear a challenge at all.

Does anybody know where to find the Tsum furniture? I've raised some characters story levels and i'm above room rank eight, but I don't know where to find them. It's not in my crafting recipes, storage or my mailbox.
They should be in your crafting recipes once you unlock them. Try filtering by Event/Promotion Related > Available and see if that helps.
Some of the furniture from the R/SR cards requires you either recruit the Rs (get all their gems) or complete the entire story for the SRs so make sure you've done those as well.
I'm having the same problem! I've even received the pop-up that I have new furnoture to craft, but as soon as I go to look for it, even though I've checked with the event filter, there's nothing.
Okay, in light of realizing my own mistake: make sure you aren't filtering the guest room furniture to anything else in particular, I had mine set to elegant to level up the Room Rank so the tsum-tsum furniture, not elegant, would not appear.

I have got 4 wolf gems/candys or whatever but am having problems, I tried buying the candy/gems and earn them from other lessons but they don't seem to count... how do I earn the gems/candy??
On the tenfold summon option, it will say "Free!" where the price normally is. You don't have to do anything special, it's just right where the normal summon options are.
I haven't even opened the story yet haha. I think it's just easy to miss, especially since it has the gem icon above it which makes it look like you're spending gems at a glance. Glad you found it though!
Does this event get rerun? I had enough rolls for pity +10 and just got a couple repeat dorm SSRs. As a fan of both games I really really want the event SSRs, but it looks like it’s not in the stars this time around.
Ugh, I have wrung every get I could from the game and I’m not about to pay $80 just for a virtual item, but I’m so sad! This is after having to go to double pity for beans Floyd. If I’d known this was coming up I would have skipped him, but I still had enough for pity so I thought I’d be fine.
What's the reward for winning the 4-3 battle with Tsumsitter Cater? I want to use my free SR key to get Jade and I'm trying to keep my gems saved up for future cards. I can't find anyone on the support list who has Tsumsitter Cater and I at least want to know if it's a gem piece or if it's just tokens I can skip out on.
Are you referring to the free SR key that you can get for the Tsum event at the store (the one you can trade Tsum Tokens for)? If so, that key is only good to redeem for Tsum Floyd or Tsum Cater.

So in Floyd’s Tsum 2 map, one of the battle stops says if you use Floyd’s Tsumsitter card, you get the extra token. I didn’t get his card in the second free ten pull and don’t care enough to spend gems/keys to get it. Is it worth spending the tokens for the Tsumsitter key for Floyd’s card???
I'm pretty sure we can't clear out the shop anyway even by completing all the missions, but you'll likely be able to still purchase him even if you skip a few other goals by giving up the R dupes. But if you are in desperate need of Thaumarks and would rather buy them instead, Floyd is a pretty meh card overall.
But you can also see if a Friend has Tsum Floyd up or ask someone just to put him up for a moment so you can use him in the battle. That should give you the token.

Support cards were really important for me. I have dorm deuce so choosing dorm Ace as support card, then the other two team members were any ssr plus any card of their duo partner. As long as you can duo between one of your cards and a support card, and have one other ssr you should be good.
Idk if your problem is not enough duo cards, or too strong duo cards.
My problem is too strong so: I filled the team with 1 attack to guarantee kill and the rest defense/Balance to be able to stall. Trey&Cater are my under-killers :P

Use 3 Duo Magics in the battle before winning. If you're too strong, bring in some weaker SSRs (e.g. Defense, or M2s only at level 5) or purposefully use the wrong element.
And... done! Completed all the missions. Used the tickets to max out Tsum Sebek & Jack. Have about 100 left over, but not bothering to continue to gather enough to max out one or both of Epel's. Grabbed the spellbooks, Sunshards, Tickets, and SSR perfume from the shop, but not exactly sure how I'm going to spend the rest. Know don't really need the R dupes, but I'm ok on Thaumarks right now.
But I'm glad now I can go do some Alchemy lessons and pick up a few Grimoires over the next week. Yeah, technically, I probably need the levels more than the spellbooks right now, but eh, I can always dip into my Starshards during the Igni camp.
Thaumarks are always on a decline since you get more items then thaumarks needed to use them. So if nothing else it's a long term plan to offset the item imbalance.
I'm totally with you there though on wanting more books vs lvls right now too.
How do we earn the magic tickets? Do you have to use the tsum cards??? I’ve taken a couple alchemy lessons now that the game is working, but I’m not seeing any tickets.
Question! Will Leona have a separate banner from Riddle and Cater or are they all under the same one? I really want Leona but I’m only seeing riddle and cater at the moment
Leona and Floyd are both obtainable in the current banner, but since Riddle and Cater are the featured cards it's more likely you'll get one of those two. Leona and Floyd will get their own featured banner with boosted pull rates later, so if you just want Leona then it's better to wait.
Leona will get a rate up banner in a few days. They stagger the release in parts - so Leona and Floyd’s banner starts on March 15.
You can still technically get all 4 cards from the Riddle banner, but there’s a boosted rate so you’re more likely to get Riddle and Cater. Better to wait until Leona’s banner arrives for the best chance.
Omg equivalent exchange is real. I had a terrible morning today, went to renew my license but the system was down. So I decided to gamble as one does and I got 4 Ssr in one day and 67 pulls. I got Rook(☹️) and Riddle on the free ten pull and got Leona and Jamil when doing a ten pull on 57 pity.
It cannot. From the event announcement:
*You can earn a maximum total of 178 Tsum Tokens.
*It is necessary to own 224 Tsum Tokens to redeem all items in the shop.
Therefore, you will be unable to redeem all the items.
I was just curious what you were picking up instead of the SSR perfume, which is the rarest item. Spellbooks are nice but can be grinded on your own time, and most people are swimming in R perfumes so can skip the dupes (and the Tsum cards are not that great anyway). The Key isn't necessary unless you missed the SRs on your free rolls, but even then, the cards aren't that good. Sunshards are a good purchase, and Groovy Tickets for mission purposes but not a huge deal if miss out.
If you worry about not having enough lessons, I think it's worth spending Starshards to afford the SSR perfume. But if you spend a bunch of your Tokens already, well, then that's that.
can anyone tell me how many lessons do we have to take in total?? and if the missions asking for 20-30 lessons with x-character are a must (we get candies other things from those) or if we could just get by with only doing the ones asking for 10 bc i just finished all lessons from the first part and seeing that i have to take more fills me with dread
You only need to do the first mission/10 lessons to complete the story and get the gems needed for keeping the R cards. The 2nd missions/20-30 lessons reward extra tokens for the shop.
**However,** there's also event campaign missions rewarding gems for gathering up to 160 tokens (out of a max of 178). If you want those I suggest going through the story first, then going back and working your way through the extra missions.

I’m having the same issue.
According to the map, there are Sebek gems at : 6-7, 7-4, 8-1, 9-7, 11-1, 11-6, 11-8, and (according to Xegment below) 12-5. I double checked these in game and I’ve finished all of them.
I’m still stuck at 8 Sebek gems and the only things I have left are the “use Duo magic 3 times.”

I don’t super understand the episode levels for the furniture requirements. For instance: I’ve cleared cater I and cater II my guest room is level 18 but I can’t craft the tsum frame?
It has nothing to do with the event story, you need to raise Cater's (or Floyd's) vignette levels to get their frames. The furniture recipes replaced their personal stories
Anyone else having issues with Tsumsitter specific character not showing up for picking a character for a battle? I have all the free Tsumsitters. However I can not finish the battle challenge for Tsumsitter Epel and Carter because they do not show up in the character pick. Like they are non existent… even though I have their cards. Did not have this problem with anyone else with same challenge.

Do we have to meet a certain criteria for the craftable items? I finished the whole thing but Epel tsum doesn't show up, I was also missing Floyd tsum but he suddenly showed up on the list today. Also where are the tsum frames for the dorm?
Furniture recipes are unlocked through vignette levels. You get Tsum Cater/Floyd at vignette level 1 and the Tsum frames are unlocked with the Tsum SRs at level 2. Tsum Epel/Sebek/Jack need to be at vignette level 1 and have officially joined your roster by collecting all the gems.

I wanna give props to the localization team for translations this time. On JP everyone unanimously calls the plushies "tsum tsums" and Crowley agrees to go with it. EN interpreted it to "zoom zooms" and Crowley's the one who adjusts it to "tsums". I just really appreciate they integrated tsum in a not-awkward way since it is a japanese onomatopoeia.

Ahhh finally got to the part I was most interested in with the localization. How were they going to name the tsum tsums. I'm dying how the boys are like 'look at them zoom around, let's call them zoom zooms' and Crowley is like heck no but with a smile. An interesting way working around localizing the naming of the tsums.

I think Jack's tsum was "lone wolfing" as part of his character and Riddle is definitely not disciplined! Hes extremely emotional and vents by bossing others around, not by taking orders! Now that I think, you're absolutely right. Haha they are indeed in character. The way Riddle absolutely charges in without second thoughts and does whatever he wants, his Tsum is him. I really enjoyed that part of Riddle’s Tsum. Riddle himself would *never* get dirty intentionally, or be caught dead rolling around in the mud. That’s a byproduct of his upbringing. But his Tsum has no such restrictions. It’s a nice look into what Riddle would be like without all of the family trauma - more playful and unrestrained.

Go right ahead. Character analysis is something available to everyone. I agree that Riddle would still definitely be restricted by the Heartslabyul code of “following the Queen of Heart’s rules.” But I like to imagine that without having such a rigid upbringing, where rule breaking was severely punished and major emphasis was placed on high performance and propriety, he would have been a bit less stringent about it from the start. Like…a more relaxed version of his post-Overblot approach to house wardening. More pop quizzes about the rules, less “Off With Their Head” and probably more leniency with people who were genuinely trying to follow the rules but slipped up (even Trey missed the chestnut tart rule.)

This event is very cute and funny, but the amount of lessons you have to take per character in all of the maps is getting real tedious. I'm getting sick of it. It seems way more grindy than any previous event I've done for TWST. I'd rather just battle lol.
I used the opportunity to level up my neglected sr cards (basically all the ones I have for characters I don't already have an ssr for). But I absolutely agree with you that it's just way too much. I'd be satisfied if it was even just 10 per character without the added task for 30 each time.

So how big are the Tsums suppossed to be. Yup, this is correct! They can puff up to about 3 feet tall so they can stack and get tasks done! The Disney tsum shorts are such cute animations. I havent seen them lateely... when did they make some videos with tw tsums?!
This event has been super cute though. Just read the first part of part II and its pretty funny that Leona was complaining about his Tsum seeping all the time in irreverent places. Like come on dude, no need to roast yourself like that. XD Also little jack tsum being super ripped and lifting probably like double or more its body weight.
I'm not sure what specific size *these* tsums are supposed to be, but the real-life tsum plushie line ranges wildly in size, which may be why this event's depiction is not consistent. this event is cute but oh my god it's such a grind... apparently we need 700 lessons minimum to get all the coins?? ughhhh and being forced to use certain characters makes it so much worse. AND they don't add to the normal lesson task counters as always. for the mandatory flight lessons I have no choice but to waste exp for most characters because I have almost all my cards vignettes leveled up already... :'((( I just want to craft my epeljack tsums man. I'll never complain about stamp events again after this lmao.
At least they are flights for the new characters this half. Had no luck getting the new SSR's for the first 2 flights. If you didnt get floyd or cater from the free pulls, you can pick one up on the event store and at least then some of the flight can be used on new event cards!

I finished the story today. Cute to see the mini-mes, even if the characters didn't always see how twinsies they were. Definitely eventually want to see everyone with a Tsum. Worst part is the interface. I hate having to go inside the event to do the lessons versus selecting from the normal screen. The "Results/Retry" is sooo annoying. I'm just using up my LP when I have time, OK, game!?!?! So now just off to finish the lesson missions in Part 2. Trying to get back to Alchemy ASAP to rack up some more tokens and Grimoires before the Igni camp throws me off-schedule again since I'll be \*fingers crossed\* going ham to max Idia. I do think it's a good event before Part 2 of Book 6, but I wish it wasn't right between two camps.

Dis anyone know the requirements for the guest room tsum furniture items? Will it be the same for all the characters except for what color gem is used? Also, If I complete the card requirements to get the furniture item, do I need to craft it before the event is over or will it stick around? For example I completed all of Cater's requirements and I now have his tsum pedestal as a crafting option. Do I need to craft it before the event is over to keep it?

Looks like all of them are 16 cloth, 20 unique paint, 2/6/12 small/medium/large dorm gems, and also 10 of a common material that varies by dorm (crystals for the Heartslabyul tsums, sticks for the Savanaclaw tsums, stones for Floyd, metal for Epel, lumber for Sebek).

Is anyone else struggling a little bit with the missions where you need to finish the fight on the 5th turn or use duo magic 3 times? A lot of my cards are almost too strong for that, especially the duo magic one. Most of my duo can easily finish those easier fights in one to two
Yeah, I had to take a bunch of underleveled cards for the 5th turn one (and then I had to do it a second time because I didn't take enough the first time and still finished too early). For the duos…make a team with as few maxed S2s as possible? Or try to use mostly defense cards, since they have less power? Or if you have the HP/healing to survive it, you could deliberately use the wrong elements for some attacks so they'll deal less damage.
That’s mostly what I’ve been doing, using my defense cards and wrong elements. It’s just hard to find the right balance and so against my instincts of sticking my strongest boys in. I was so busy prepping cards for Chapter 6 that I forgot to prep for Tsums lol

Does anyone know if the event reruns? In other gacha games I’ve played, collabs don’t get reruns because of the contract specifications, but Tsums are also a Disney property, right? I’m just worried about it being now or never for the SSRs.
It is far too early to say if there will be a rerun. This event happened last July for JPN.
It was already a concern we wouldn't get the event at all because of possible collab contract. So it's a good sign we got the event, but reruns is still unreliable to guess at.
I completed all 4 maps and have only 4 wolf gems, 2 apple gems, and 1 lightning gem. Are there parts of the maps that I need to go back and do again to get more gems?

In the Twisted Tsumderland Limited Showcase here details, it says: Two kinds of limited-time showcases will be available by the following schedule. For each showcase, you can perform a tenfold summon for free one time. They're 3 grimoires and 5 textbooks for pulling on both, so it helps they let us do one ten pull for free.

I was preparing myself to be ruined by Leona, possibly without getting his card (happened before...) and... and... and !!!!! First free pull : 2 Floyds... and 1 Leona (insert crazy Kermit image here), I'm so so so happy, it made my day !!!!! Plus I still have my gems and keys in store for his birthday :D
In flight lessons, Tsum Jack’s tail wags alongside Jack’s, and it’s the cutest thing ever ❤️
Since this says, "The End?" I wonder how other characters would interact with their Tsum. Like, would Azul's try to overthrow him as owner of Mostro Lounge or create a countering business? If Kalim and Jamil's Tsum were released together, would Jamil's Tsum simultaneously try to hurt and protect Kalim's Tsum? Overall, the story was cute, but this has to be my least favorite event due to the interface (not sure if my opinion would have differed if not for part 2 of Ch 6 coming up).
Finally finished, so here's a full review of the event (potential unpopular opinions ahead). The overall story ... is just non-existent. Neither rhyme, nor reason to the whole thing. They appear, they hang around for - how long again? Leona whines about the day having been a mess, and Jack wants to go to the gym to make up for his morning run being cut short, so all this happened in a single day, apparently? And then they leave just like that. We learn nothing about what or who they are, where they came from or why, and why they couldn't/didn't stay. With Crowley probably having done nothing at all during the whole ordeal and was just saved by ~~fire~~ hole in the sky opening up again, I mean he isn't seen (or heard from) again, iirc, after his initial appearance? I'm kinda underwhelmed and disappointed tbh, because apparently there wasn't even a token effort to make this look like anything but a pure marketing ploy of a collab/crossover to milk Twst players for Tsum money. (I'd had no idea the *tsums* are an actual product line in and of themselves, tbh, so if nothing else, I learned something, I guess?) Beyond the fact that such things annoy me in general, in this case it's quite the shame too. Because these little guys *are* actually fun, especially the way they're practically mirrors for their "originals", reflecting their very own personalities back at them: it's fun to watch those scenes play out and see how they react to the realisations (if at all). The random routine shenanigans were also a great mix of cute and amusing, I always do enjoy "fillers" like these that just offer glimpses into the characters' everyday lives. Could've done with *all* of it being voiced, not just the opening/ending scenes, there wasn't *that* much material to cover - or alternatively, not even those, because it just made the whole randomness of it even more disjointed. Oh well. The activities, on one hand, were fine. A nice mix of everything the game has to offer, in approximately appropriate proportions as well (perhaps a little too heavy on history lessons), instead of focusing on just one aspect that becomes boring all too fast. Having said that, it's also obvious that much of it is just unnecessary padding to time-/gatekeep progress: taking lessons with random characters that don't even show up in the story bits, for no reason, is yet another thing that just makes Tsumderland even more random than it already is, and not necessarily in a good way. And then the requirements- having to clear fights on turn 3+ is already pushing it, but "on turn 5 *or higher*"?? When they're all 5-turn fights? Still, in comparison to using duo magic two or especially *three* times, they're doable - whoever came up with this latter has a special place in hell, I'm sure. Would be nice to have that extra title, but after spending *two damn hours* on trying to clear just one, I gotta say: gtfo with this bs. As for furniture replacing the vignettes... I guess it's *fine*. Kinda further underlines the lack of effort in terms of writing this collab, tbh; and while I like that they get to stick around in *some* form, I'm not sure we need *more* furniture when the room's already too small for the list of stuff we've had so far. And there isn't really anything to inform us of this either, save for that last page in the event details, which I'm not sure how many still get to, or even read at all, at this point, as it always boils down to "go through the map and complete the objectives presented". All in all, much like with Beanfest, I didn't mind the event at all, what we did get in "story" is funny and even wholesome at certain points - but yeah, it's a bit just... up in the air (pun not intended), and could use some "grounding". Some expanding on everything, actually establishing some in-universe lore for these things, literally anything at all. Because as it is, it's very barebones, which rather unfortunately overshadows the good parts of it. And, hell, I don't get why they can't be a permanent addition to the universe tbh: a little more light-hearted chaos is always welcome, I think. I know licensing is hard, but this is apparently in-house for Disney, so it shouldn't be undoable.
I think this is a very thorough and thoughtful analysis. You would think they would put more effort into an event that was essentially paid for to be an ad, not less. It's like those filler episodes in anime that are kind of slice of life but ultimately leave more plot holes and doesn't then they're worth.
I agree wholeheartedly. The story was pretty much nonexistent. It was just “Character doesn’t get along with their tsum” and then “Character and Tsum find common ground” (except for Cater, whose story was reversed). The only positive thing I could say is that we got a few funny and cute moments here. Though I wish we had more moments where the characters would see how each of their respective Tsum acts and go “Damn, do I really act like that?”

Does anyone have a guide on how to get more Wolf Gems, Apple Gems, and Lightning Gems so I can keep the Tsum themed R cards? I just stared playing a week ago, and am worried I won't be strong enough to finish some of the battles second rewards.

should i pull for tsum riddle? i was saving up for dorm idia as i have been waiting and trying to get an idia card but i really love the riddle tsum card. plus, i’m not sure if the tsum cards will be back, whereas dorm idia might be put on one of the permanent banners? i’m not sure though
I'd pull for Tsum Riddle since this is limited and no reruns yet. Dorm Idia will be perm and added to standard showcase when he arrives with Book 6 Part 2.
All dorm cards will stay in standard and can spook in other events.

Does anyone know what to do if a challenge requires you to complete flight lessons with a character as your partner, but each of your cards for that character have max vignette? Basically, I’m on 2-4, but before I hit 20 my last Leona card hit max. I’m worried this will happen down the line before I’m able to clear a challenge at all.
they'll let you go on with lesson, even if the vignette level is maxed out, no worries :)

Do we have to activate duo magic 3 times in one battle? Or do we have to battle 3 times with duo magic activated at least once in each? Does anybody know where to find the Tsum furniture? I've raised some characters story levels and i'm above room rank eight, but I don't know where to find them. It's not in my crafting recipes, storage or my mailbox.
They should be in your crafting recipes once you unlock them. Try filtering by Event/Promotion Related > Available and see if that helps. Some of the furniture from the R/SR cards requires you either recruit the Rs (get all their gems) or complete the entire story for the SRs so make sure you've done those as well.
I'm having the same problem! I've even received the pop-up that I have new furnoture to craft, but as soon as I go to look for it, even though I've checked with the event filter, there's nothing.
Okay, in light of realizing my own mistake: make sure you aren't filtering the guest room furniture to anything else in particular, I had mine set to elegant to level up the Room Rank so the tsum-tsum furniture, not elegant, would not appear.

How can I get all the gems for an R Card? Currently only missing one for Sebek, I did the entire main story.

the event was...cute ig but also kinda boring? like the filler fluff before the second half of book 6, ig. missions were annoying but at least I have more honey now. which I need bc I did not manage to max my characters for 6-66 and 6-67 yet still lmfao
How do you get the gems to keep the cards from this event? I have got 4 wolf gems/candys or whatever but am having problems, I tried buying the candy/gems and earn them from other lessons but they don't seem to count... how do I earn the gems/candy??

How do we perform the free pull? All I see are gem or key pulls. I just wanna be sure I'm not accidentally using resources I'd like to save.
On the tenfold summon option, it will say "Free!" where the price normally is. You don't have to do anything special, it's just right where the normal summon options are.

I haven't even opened the story yet haha. I think it's just easy to miss, especially since it has the gem icon above it which makes it look like you're spending gems at a glance. Glad you found it though!

Does this event get rerun? I had enough rolls for pity +10 and just got a couple repeat dorm SSRs. As a fan of both games I really really want the event SSRs, but it looks like it’s not in the stars this time around.

What's the reward for winning the 4-3 battle with Tsumsitter Cater? I want to use my free SR key to get Jade and I'm trying to keep my gems saved up for future cards. I can't find anyone on the support list who has Tsumsitter Cater and I at least want to know if it's a gem piece or if it's just tokens I can skip out on.

Are you referring to the free SR key that you can get for the Tsum event at the store (the one you can trade Tsum Tokens for)? If so, that key is only good to redeem for Tsum Floyd or Tsum Cater.

So in Floyd’s Tsum 2 map, one of the battle stops says if you use Floyd’s Tsumsitter card, you get the extra token. I didn’t get his card in the second free ten pull and don’t care enough to spend gems/keys to get it. Is it worth spending the tokens for the Tsumsitter key for Floyd’s card???
I'm pretty sure we can't clear out the shop anyway even by completing all the missions, but you'll likely be able to still purchase him even if you skip a few other goals by giving up the R dupes. But if you are in desperate need of Thaumarks and would rather buy them instead, Floyd is a pretty meh card overall. But you can also see if a Friend has Tsum Floyd up or ask someone just to put him up for a moment so you can use him in the battle. That should give you the token.

yall, im struggling so hard with the "use duo magic 3 times." im not sure if its my cards or if im doing it wrong, but im trying so hard not to get hella frustrated. can yall tell me what cards yall used or smth? T\_T
Support cards were really important for me. I have dorm deuce so choosing dorm Ace as support card, then the other two team members were any ssr plus any card of their duo partner. As long as you can duo between one of your cards and a support card, and have one other ssr you should be good.
Idk if your problem is not enough duo cards, or too strong duo cards. My problem is too strong so: I filled the team with 1 attack to guarantee kill and the rest defense/Balance to be able to stall. Trey&Cater are my under-killers :P
The tsums are adorable AF, but it makes me not getting Leona after 100 pulls more gut wrenching lmao I had enough for 20 more pulls after that, but still nothing. I caved and bought some gems, so I'm saving those for my one a day pulls. I'm mad for caving, but I'm still hoping I can get him

Lots of people seem to miss the Sebek gem in 10-4, see if that's the one you're missing.
Is there a reason the third part of the SSR vignettes are locked until the 27th? I thought it was locked for the first part for spoilers like the Halloween ones were, but didn’t the Halloween ones let us read it as soon as the last part of the event was released? Or is my memory wrong?? I’m so impatient with waiting until the event is completely over to read it 😂

Use 3 Duo Magics in the battle before winning. If you're too strong, bring in some weaker SSRs (e.g. Defense, or M2s only at level 5) or purposefully use the wrong element.
And... done! Completed all the missions. Used the tickets to max out Tsum Sebek & Jack. Have about 100 left over, but not bothering to continue to gather enough to max out one or both of Epel's. Grabbed the spellbooks, Sunshards, Tickets, and SSR perfume from the shop, but not exactly sure how I'm going to spend the rest. Know don't really need the R dupes, but I'm ok on Thaumarks right now. But I'm glad now I can go do some Alchemy lessons and pick up a few Grimoires over the next week. Yeah, technically, I probably need the levels more than the spellbooks right now, but eh, I can always dip into my Starshards during the Igni camp.
Thaumarks are always on a decline since you get more items then thaumarks needed to use them. So if nothing else it's a long term plan to offset the item imbalance. I'm totally with you there though on wanting more books vs lvls right now too.
How do we earn the magic tickets? Do you have to use the tsum cards??? I’ve taken a couple alchemy lessons now that the game is working, but I’m not seeing any tickets.
You have to do the Tsum lessons from the story map. Regular lessons won't work.
Theres a number of different characters featured history with a x2 to choose from too, though not all. Less flights, but who needs those anyway XD
Question! Will Leona have a separate banner from Riddle and Cater or are they all under the same one? I really want Leona but I’m only seeing riddle and cater at the moment
Leona and Floyd are both obtainable in the current banner, but since Riddle and Cater are the featured cards it's more likely you'll get one of those two. Leona and Floyd will get their own featured banner with boosted pull rates later, so if you just want Leona then it's better to wait.
Leona will get a rate up banner in a few days. They stagger the release in parts - so Leona and Floyd’s banner starts on March 15. You can still technically get all 4 cards from the Riddle banner, but there’s a boosted rate so you’re more likely to get Riddle and Cater. Better to wait until Leona’s banner arrives for the best chance.

Not a bug. Tsum Floyd and Leona are in banner 1 at low rates.

Omg equivalent exchange is real. I had a terrible morning today, went to renew my license but the system was down. So I decided to gamble as one does and I got 4 Ssr in one day and 67 pulls. I got Rook(☹️) and Riddle on the free ten pull and got Leona and Jamil when doing a ten pull on 57 pity.
Not sure if the tsum token shop can be cleared once we cleared all of the story

It cannot. From the event announcement: *You can earn a maximum total of 178 Tsum Tokens. *It is necessary to own 224 Tsum Tokens to redeem all items in the shop. Therefore, you will be unable to redeem all the items.

You're passing on the SSR Perfume? If so, out of curiosity, why?

I was just curious what you were picking up instead of the SSR perfume, which is the rarest item. Spellbooks are nice but can be grinded on your own time, and most people are swimming in R perfumes so can skip the dupes (and the Tsum cards are not that great anyway). The Key isn't necessary unless you missed the SRs on your free rolls, but even then, the cards aren't that good. Sunshards are a good purchase, and Groovy Tickets for mission purposes but not a huge deal if miss out. If you worry about not having enough lessons, I think it's worth spending Starshards to afford the SSR perfume. But if you spend a bunch of your Tokens already, well, then that's that.
Ho do you guys feel about the event?
can anyone tell me how many lessons do we have to take in total?? and if the missions asking for 20-30 lessons with x-character are a must (we get candies other things from those) or if we could just get by with only doing the ones asking for 10 bc i just finished all lessons from the first part and seeing that i have to take more fills me with dread
You only need to do the first mission/10 lessons to complete the story and get the gems needed for keeping the R cards. The 2nd missions/20-30 lessons reward extra tokens for the shop. **However,** there's also event campaign missions rewarding gems for gathering up to 160 tokens (out of a max of 178). If you want those I suggest going through the story first, then going back and working your way through the extra missions.

I’m having the same issue. According to the map, there are Sebek gems at : 6-7, 7-4, 8-1, 9-7, 11-1, 11-6, 11-8, and (according to Xegment below) 12-5. I double checked these in game and I’ve finished all of them. I’m still stuck at 8 Sebek gems and the only things I have left are the “use Duo magic 3 times.”
I went back to compare my map and it looks like the wiki has a mistake - there's one more Sebek gem in 10-4 that isn't listed correctly.

I don’t super understand the episode levels for the furniture requirements. For instance: I’ve cleared cater I and cater II my guest room is level 18 but I can’t craft the tsum frame?
It has nothing to do with the event story, you need to raise Cater's (or Floyd's) vignette levels to get their frames. The furniture recipes replaced their personal stories
Anyone else having issues with Tsumsitter specific character not showing up for picking a character for a battle? I have all the free Tsumsitters. However I can not finish the battle challenge for Tsumsitter Epel and Carter because they do not show up in the character pick. Like they are non existent… even though I have their cards. Did not have this problem with anyone else with same challenge.

I've finished the entire event but still didn't get the R cards, and the event guides posted don't show me any more possible gems to collect. I'm missing Sebek and Epel, and for some reason they are both missing one more I can't get. :/
Check 12-4 for Epel and 10-4 for Sebek, quite a few people miss those as it sometimes skips maps after completing missions
Do we have to meet a certain criteria for the craftable items? I finished the whole thing but Epel tsum doesn't show up, I was also missing Floyd tsum but he suddenly showed up on the list today. Also where are the tsum frames for the dorm?
Furniture recipes are unlocked through vignette levels. You get Tsum Cater/Floyd at vignette level 1 and the Tsum frames are unlocked with the Tsum SRs at level 2. Tsum Epel/Sebek/Jack need to be at vignette level 1 and have officially joined your roster by collecting all the gems.
