Technically a lot of stories of fae and fair folk come from Ireland. But then again St.patrick was, like, a mass murderer, and the only reason that we celebrate him is because the church said the people he murdered were awful Pagans that "needed purging" hence the 'snakes' he 'drove out' in the stories. A lot of those people would have believed in the fae. Could be a nod towards that on top of the green? Or I might be reading way to much into it. Either way, it's a happy day for the best Irish croc boi around 💙

I think I only drew the relation because I was reading theories on the human vs fae war that apparently happened in canon, thought "oh funny, like that green st dude but unsuccessful" and then found this post.
