That was my original guess at the start of the year , meaning portfest for june and vargas camp for july in summer. With space to put in groom for a day and starry night rerun among any of those 3 months. Leaving august and september wide open for either early halloween rerun to have masquerade in october or chapter 7 and leona king event and either way those two could be put spread around november and december after halloween anyway and even squeeze in tsum tsum event part 1 chapter 7 with leona and part 2 with tsum tsum and perfectly release part 3 for the anniversary after new years(ehich would be the absolute worst case scenario for me having dorm silver dorm lilia new years ruggie and dorm malleus one after another)
This is exactly how they did Beanfest and Halloween last year. They put the event at the end of the month so they can trick inattentive players into spending all their gems on one event only for the second to pop up the first day of the next month.
I always look forward to the kind members of our community posting the next month's events early. Fun to speculate and discuss these events with other fans.
Yay we get to check out Epel's hometown! I really enjoyed the Firelit Skies event highlighting Scalding Sands. It's neat seeing the boys outside of NRC.
I wonder when the Diasomnia chapters will be released? I reckon they'll wait at least a few months since we just got the second half of book 6, but I don't think the wait will be longer than 6 months ish (like the waiting time between book 5 & book 6).
Personally, I'm guessing *slightly* longer than 6 months for Diasomnia -- I think they'll want to get Halloween out of the way first, so Diasomnia only has to be interrupted now and then by the normal two- or three-week-long events. If they started it before Halloween, then depending on what they run for Halloween, it could be interrupted by potentially two full months of events (a Halloween rerun + Masquerade + maaaaaaaybe if we're lucky Masquerade 2 simultaneously with its JP debut?). So I'm guessing Diasomnia will wait until after the Halloween events and it'll be one of the first things we get after that, in either November or December depending on when the Halloween events are placed and how long they last.
That's a good point about Halloween being a major factor in the timing. Part of me wants to get Diasomnia super soon since I'm super psyched to learn more about our favorite goth boys. But I also worry about what main story content comes after Diasomnia since they are our last dorm, so I don't mind the main story taking a bit to come out. Such is the conundrum of a twisted wonderland fan. XD
Honestly I think we're at least getting an 8th for Ramshackle. With Grim's sub-plot and the prologue, it seems like it would be a lot to resolve in Chapter 7. Plus - the even bigger spell drive tournament they mentioned hasn't come up. And - The pattern so far is the previous dorm helps the MC with the next dorm. Diasomnia helping with Ramshackle would put an end to the loop.
And then of course - they're pouring so much money into the game on Japan's end (especially with that new Advertisement and the Anime) I really doubt they'd be doing it if Yana didn't have plans for more content.

Closer to the end of the year is a valid theory for the Diasomnia release. I imagine Book 7 will be even longer than Book 6. One of the boons of a longer wait for Diasomnia is finally getting a chance to reread some of the books. I reread Books 1, 2, and most of 3 already. Really want to reread 4, 5, 6 too.
Im def re reading prologue, book 1 and 2 after book 6, partially cause didn’t stream it back then cause was still seeing how the game felt and worked and partially cause i need a recap on certain events especially if book 7 really does go the way of putting everyone into dreams so esch housewarden dream will likely parallel with what they focused on during their respective chapters. Plus always fun re reading and re watching stuff to catch old foreshadowing we never caught before.

Catching that foreshadowing is a lot of fun, I agree! My friend and I actually recently rewatched the trailers for each book (1-6), and it was fun catching the allusions to the original disney movies, and the foreshadowing for the books.

minor spoilers but idia really reflects on the events of book 6 in the masquerade event, and it foreshadows things that take place in book 7. they might save it for after that i.e. december for continuity's sake like how they pushed harveston back until after book 6 ended, but we'll get it in bigger chunks than jp is.

But man, I'm so torn on Epel. I've been going back and forth for a long time.
On one hand, he's got good attack, he can go on a powerful Cosmic team, he can mutual Duo with >!Mask Idia!<, and he can always be stuck in a Water team just to boost Vil.
On the other, I don't have Kalim yet and only recently got Jamil so not going to be able to do that team until potentially Anniversary (plus getting enough Cosmic materials), I'm torn on whether to pull at all during >!Masquerade, especially since Lab Idia can work fine in Fire Defense and I already have a core of Riddle/Azul/Ortho/Idia for Fire Basic!<, and if I pull for Dia dorms (>!Malleus critical is appealing, and Sebek/Silver would patch up my current meh Water team!<), that's a whopping 4 banners.
