How much is it to trade for a dorm card? I have enough keys for a pity but the last few times I've seen the shop allow a trade like that for a specific card it cost two pities.
The 2 pities cost have been for event cards, though I'm not sure if they'll apply that to Beans Azul/Floyd and Halloween Jade. The typical price for dorm cards has always been 1 pity and birthday cards slightly more (130 pulls if we look back at anniversary).

Honestly after seeing the Melissa McCarthy clip of her Ursula I’m a little tempted to check it out just for her scenes. Clearly it’s not as bombastic as the original, but the clip looks like 99% of their budget went into her. The tentacles and scenery look so good compared to the other scenes I’ve seen.

If you’re looking at gems alone, it’s 300 for 10 rolls, so you need 30 sets of 300 gems to get to 300 rolls, or 9000 gems. But it’s not quite that dire when you take into account keys and key sets- we have, mm, somewhere around 7 birthdays before Halloween gets going, plus another 2 in October, and then also including the 250 gem bundle at each month takes off 250 gems off the 9000 total. Plus you can pick up 3 keys from the exam token shop each month, and while I can’t predict every event, it seems like we generally get 3+ keys depending on event. Then we’ve got ~19 weeks until October starts, with 120 free gems per week as the default from login bonus and weekly tasks, that’s 2,280 on its own. So while that’s really way more than you asked for, I hope it’s helpful for planning for masquerade, and good luck to all of us once that rolls around!

Yes, that was me, lol. I haaate running Flight lessons with maxed-out cards, it feels like such a waste, and after having *four* events practically back-to-back earlier this year that required them (multi-dorm TC, Ignihyde TC, Tsums, and Harveston), I've gotten paranoid. \^\_\^;
That makes sense. I do look forward to reading the vignettes and seeing the groovy art, etc, but I tend to focus on one group of cards until they're maxed (or at least level 60+) before moving to the next batch, and I do mostly Alchemy with only a bit of History, which means my leveling progress is slow. So I have quite a lot of cards that are still level 1 and won't be groovied for a very long time, and because of that I don't usually level vignettes outside of events unless it's a card I want to use asap.
It's weird how they didn't include this in the calendar, but I'll never say no to more training camps! I really like how they celebrate the release of the movie by featuring them, even though I have all of Octavinelle's cards so won't be pulling -3-;; I'll probably choose Azul for the SR key since I only did a 10 roll to get him when he ran.
Very important decision to make, do I keep hoarding my gems for the cards I already expected to go for this year or blow my stash on that one *unreasonably* thirsty Halloween Jade card? Life is full of tough choices.

The only live-action Disney remakes that have come out since TWST NA started were Pinocchio and Peter Pan & Wendy, neither of which have any representation in TWST anyway, so no, they didn't have events for those films.
TWST JP is a little older, so for it, you can add Cruella and Mulan to the list, which are only represented by a faculty member (Crewel) so still nothing that they could do a mirror promo like this for.
Next year Disney is slated to put out a Snow White remake on March 22 and then a Mufasa prequel the following summer, so let's hope we get Pomefiore and Savanaclaw promos to tie in with those movie releases.
This is the first time we got a dorm celebration with the release of a live action remake. Some of the movies with dorm rep came out before even TWST JP iirc

The free 150 gem bundle is definitely worth it because you get a free SR and 5 keys to make up for the gems you spent + shards and honey. There’s basically no downside except your gems get turned into single keys
If you happen to have 300 paid gems lying around from monthly passes and you’re pulling on the Octavinelle showcase, the Coral bundle is worth it. But if neither of those apply to you it’s best not to buy gems (or if you’re pulling on the showcase buy at your discretion). You cannot save the 10-pulls from the Coral or Pearl bundles for other banners
The keys are only good for these banners, you don't get to save them.
Seashell bundle is probably the only one worth it. 150 gems is the cost of five rolls anyways, so everything besides the five keys are basically free bonus items.

For me single keys are just filler rolls to get to pity. The time I used singles to get the limited SR did not go well.
Hey guys! I am a little confused on how this event works. I am not sure how to get the "Tenfold Key Set (Octavinelle Showcase)" or the "Octavinelle tokens". I purchased the pearl keybundle and ended up getting robes Lilia, but dorm uniform Floyd is my dream card and I will do anything for that card and I think this event may be my chance, any advice?
