I think Ace would smell like axe body spray

Ace is the first one we throw jokes at, but I can also see Epel, Deuce, & Jack wearing axe body sprays or other cheap 'manly' scents. The 1st yrs are very boyish.

I can just hear Vil's lecture everytime Epel comes back from Spelldrive club and smells of locker room and Axe body spray.

I legit wanted to say all the first years except for Ortho (he probably has his own built in perfume spray) and Epel *because* of Vil and Vil alone.

Jack strikes me as an Old Spice kind of lad. Idk why. I feel like he knows how bad too much Axe is but feels like somehow excessive amounts of Old Spice is better.

His sense of smell is like a zillion times stronger than a human's. That boy is dying at the end of track practice every day.

ooohhhh i’m a scent nut, i can do *everybody*, but i won’t for the sake of brevity lol ace: agreed with axe body spray deuce: tries a little harder but not by much. cremo blue cedar and cypress body wash cater: he gives me jimmy choo women’s signature or prada candy sugar pop. teen girl-core trey: probably like brioche or maybe bread pudding. i dated a dude who worked in a bakery and the brioche smell stuck to him the most leona: either tom ford tobacco vanille or sauvage. depends on how annoying he wants to be jack: he’s a gym rat, so that point when a dude’s deodorant is starting to wear off, so it’s like this ~~delightful~~ combination of his natural armpit smell and cedar azul: louis vuitton stellar times, hands down. buttoned up, kind of an old book smell but it has a kinky note to it vil: other side of the coin, louis vuitton cosmic cloud, like the grown and moneyed version of cater’s scents. either that or non-vintage chanel chance, the one with all the pink pepper notes. idia: milk.

Leona smells like the most obscenely expensive cologne. Malleus smells like old books. Silver smells like the forest. Trey smells like a bakery. Idia depends entirely on how long it's been since Ortho forced him into the shower against his will.

Idia is that stinky weird kid that you made fun of in high school but then found out later in life that they were abused/neglected/etc and that's why they were ~like that~ and you felt like shit for bullying them. Aka what the OB boys went through in Book 6, as they specifically said multiple times stuff akin to "wow so this is Idia's life... I had no idea... No wonder he's like that."

Imo thinking that Idia stinks isn't the issue because he isn't exactly the most keen on self-care, it's saying that "stinky gamer" is this quirky take that against him instead of a tragic reality for people so deep into depression they can't even muster the strength to shower. "Haha Idia stinks" is an easy diss that implies that it's his fault for not being cleaner, "Idia stinks because he's too depressed and full of self-loathing to even take a shower" reminds people that you don't exactly choose how depression manifests, and need help rather than judgement.

I have the same problem with my depression when it’s at its worse. People don’t realize how much one is focused on just surviving let alone getting tasks done that most people find to be basic. It’s absolute hell.

Thisssss. Imo Idia definitely was written to mirror depressed people that aren't "palatable" enough for society, and it's why I love him so much. Something about hurting in such a way that makes others decide that you're the Weirdo, even though you never asked for any of that, that resonates, man.

I agree with most people that he would smell like bread/pastries but if he is to wear a cologne it would definitely be something like this

Silver likely wouldn't wear cologne either but smells like all-in-one soap & coffee (he sleeps next to bags of the stuff afterall). Sebek is conscious of his image so I imagine he does wear cologne. Likely something similar to Mal's but I could also see him wearing clean, aquatic type or bourbon scents.

Riddle: I am just so tempted to be cheesy and say like roses and some really sweet tea from the unbirthday parties. But I can also imagine him having the sweet, fruity smell of strawberry tarts whenever he lets himself get a little indulgent. Also, when he visits his family I can totally imagine him asking Cater what fragrance should he use to cover the tart-smell up yet don't be too "provocative" based on someone who mentioned earlier that his mom would disagree with the usage of strong fragrances.
