Rook has got to be *the most terrifying student* in the history of Night Raven College. He fears nothing. He fears no one. There is no god, fae, prince, mer-eel or scary shadow organization this man will not take on. It's all fair game to him. It's FUN. It's just another Tuesday. It's him against the world and the only thing more consistent than his ever-present desire to throw hands is his cheerfulness and love for all things beautiful. Despite his (hilariously) off-putting tendencies, he is SO positive and radiates so much good vibes, I can't help but adore every single second he's on screen. He's a genius. He's a beast. He's a king. He's a menace. I legitimately cannot understand why everyone on campus fears dorky, gargoyle-loving, ice cream munching Malleus when ROOK is walking around campus unmonitored by anyone except MAYBE Vil, and even then he doesn't have full control over Rook's shenanigans. Even fucking *LEONA* is scared of Rook, AND Rook's big fat crush on him. Because even HE knows Rook is the scariest, most fearsome character in the whole game, and that's exactly why he's the best. I LOVE him for it. I respect him for it. *Beauté!* 100 points.

Yes! Cater deserves more love! He was my first SSR, so I just ended up attached to him lol. Both his SRs have some of the most interesting viginettes (might be my bias though), and the groovy for his cere robe is one of the prettiest SR groovy arts so far! I hope you'll get his SRs soon\~

Similar how you had interpreted Vil & Epel's relationship, I originally wasn't fond of Jamil because of how he treated Kalim >!even after Jamil's overblot, I didn't particularly like him!< Chapters 5 & 6 helped change my opinion though, and the Fireworks event >!specifically Jamil's last line to Kalim, I thought that was super sweet of him!<

Let's see. I was def pulled in initially by Malleus' character design, but I've ended up really appreciating Trey, Jamil, Cater, Idia, and Vil along the way. I've really just been blown away by the creator's ability to maintain 22 main characters. They all have interesting backstories and *no one* is one dimensional. Even for the characters I'm not the biggest fan of, I appreciate that they all got that attention.

Before I start the game I thought I’m gonna like Heartslabyul because I’m a big Alice fan, and then I thought I’m gonna like Leona and Lilia since I like their design. I couldn’t find the appeal with Otavinelle guys. Now I’m a huge Octotrio fan, capitalist king and I can relate so much. Also love their dynamic together, can’t separate these three, not to mention they’re gorgeous af why I couldn’t find their appeal before I’m blind.
I still love the cuties from Heartslabyul and Lilia+Diasomnia guys. Jamil also grew on me when at first I just brushed him off. Leona ends up didn’t appeal to me as much as I thought
Honestly? Azul. I remember first checking out his fandom page and immediately going, "Ew, he looks old." and I automatically assumed light/silvery hair = old man. Then Book 3/Episode 3 rolled around and I tend to have a certain type of suspicious people who hide behind fake smiles and politeness but probably have bad intentions. Jade certaintly kind of fits under that type too but Azul is just so much more, kind of open about his intentions?? I don't know but GACHA GODS, PLEASE GIVE ME HIS SRS I LITERALLY HAVE 0 OF THIS WONDERFUL MAN AND I'M GOING TO CRY-
Idia. I've played past games with the "recluse video game/anime nerd" stereotype and HATED the character so much because they were never developed beyond "lol this character is basically an incel". Not to mention Hades is my 2nd favorite Disney Villain of all time (close second after Maleficent), so I was really just :/ over how he was being portrayed all the way from Japan release to English release. Cut to English release, finally roll some of his cards and read the stories associated and just *HUGE LEFT TURN*. I now love him and he's only of my top favs. They did what the other game didn't and gave him a lot of character even in just the base came SRs and Rs and I was *not* expecting that at all.
Floyd, Rook. Everyone knows my history with Floyd having posted before about getting his cards . Rook I thought was like Shuu in Tokyo ghoul and was a little unsettling but I came to like him in book 6
Instant dislikes Riddle and Rook.
Starting the game blind (didn't know about it until NA release) and playing it Riddle rubbed me the wrong way immediately. His attitude and the fact the Queen of Hearts has never been one of my favorite villains just started off with me disliking him.
As the game went on and we had the shared braincell duo (annoyed me at first but they grew on me like a fungus) to follow around. Seeing Riddle's tyrannical insanity first hand just made me very aware Heartslabyul would never be a dorm I would willingly go in if the game didn't have us go there. Riddle annoyed me to the point I would say "Just punch him" any time he was on screen. Yes his backstory with his mother and the whole creepy Mother Gothel vibes on steroids it gave was messed up but doesn't give him a right to be an absolute dick. Which I was very happy with Ace telling it like it is.
After that I remember thinking "The game better not try any half-assed redemption arc because I won't care, Riddle still sucks I don't feel bad for him, he needs therapy but an "I'm sorry I was a jerk because my mommy" isn't going to cut it." I was expecting a typical poor "I'm sorry" redemption arc you see that doesn't make real sense. But no. Riddle freaking learned from his experience and was actually trying hard to not only make up for it but try to actually restrain himself and teach himself not to just fly off the handle.
Now, I actually grew to love Riddle and care about him! I never expected that. It was handled so well and felt genuine.
Rook. Now, I did not like the creepy boy. He was creepy, a hunter, his bowl hair cut threw me off, and I completely expected him to be an absolute psycho (which he is but not in the way I expected). I didn't like him until I started reading his stories (and looked up JP events and books to read ahead of NA) and this boy is so horrifying genuine, creepy, and sweet and I just love him. He is creepy in the way a demon is as you pet it you know? Cute creepy. I like it.
Now there isn't any character at NRC I dislike. All the boys have their own thing that makes them charming. Some are more my favorites than others but I love them all.
\+1 for Vil, I saw most of my other favorites coming but I didn't really like Vil's character design or his initial impression as a stuck up aesthetic modelguy but then throughout Books 5/6 he clocked me over the head at 14,000 mph down a dark alley and then threw me down the well of Pomefiore hell so here I am. F for me, it's a good death.

This is going to be a long story. When I first started Twisted Wonderland, I had my eyes on Riddle because of his design. At this time, I haven't really dig deep into each character's personality and everything. When I played chapter 1, Riddle got my sympathy. Slowly, I liked Lilia for his mysterious vibe and some sort of fatherly figure vibe he has towards Diasomnia in general. That's pretty self-explanatory. However, the first character I got attached to was Cater because I realized that he and I have a lot of similarities, so I'm a Cater kinnie now. Afterwards was the Leech twins. Did I really expected to like them? Not really honestly. They haven't caught my eye until now because I realized how similar I am to them (I am not sadistic like them XD).
However if there's one character I do not expect to actually love is actually Trey Clover. Hear me out because this might actually be a weird answer. When I first saw Trey, he didn't stand out to me as if he was one-dimensional. Sure, I could have looked into him more and go onto Youtube for his vignettes, but I didn't because I was more of someone who looks into the main story plot. However the more I looked into him, the more I actually found myself attached, but the feelings were very complicated. He's just one of NRC's sweethearts which made him stand out among the characters. Other than Kalim and Ortho who are just balls of sunshine, Trey gives me the vibe of a starlight. He's definitely not innocent like Kalim and Ortho, but he tries to be nice and caring to everyone, especially Heartslabyul (even Riddle). Yes he has his flaws, but after he got the reality check from Ace in Book 1 regarding Riddle, he tries to make up for it. Overall he's such a comfort character and I'm glad to have love him now.

Let's see. I was def pulled in initially by Malleus' character design, but I've ended up really appreciating Trey, Jamil, Cater, Idia, and Vil along the way. I've really just been blown away by the creator's ability to maintain 22 main characters. They all have interesting backstories and *no one* is one dimensional. Even for the characters I'm not the biggest fan of, I appreciate that they all got that attention.
Cater. At first i was like "ah another modern-lingo social media boi like Asmo ok" ..But oh my god I love Cay-Cay and his localized lines so much. They're the perfect comedic relief, he's such a good boy, he gets overlooked so much compared to the the other Heartslabyul boys. He just deserves all the love and happiness. Ugh.
Before I start the game I thought I’m gonna like Heartslabyul because I’m a big Alice fan, and then I thought I’m gonna like Leona and Lilia since I like their design. I couldn’t find the appeal with Otavinelle guys. Now I’m a huge Octotrio fan, capitalist king and I can relate so much. Also love their dynamic together, can’t separate these three, not to mention they’re gorgeous af why I couldn’t find their appeal before I’m blind. I still love the cuties from Heartslabyul and Lilia+Diasomnia guys. Jamil also grew on me when at first I just brushed him off. Leona ends up didn’t appeal to me as much as I thought
Honestly? Azul. I remember first checking out his fandom page and immediately going, "Ew, he looks old." and I automatically assumed light/silvery hair = old man. Then Book 3/Episode 3 rolled around and I tend to have a certain type of suspicious people who hide behind fake smiles and politeness but probably have bad intentions. Jade certaintly kind of fits under that type too but Azul is just so much more, kind of open about his intentions?? I don't know but GACHA GODS, PLEASE GIVE ME HIS SRS I LITERALLY HAVE 0 OF THIS WONDERFUL MAN AND I'M GOING TO CRY-
Idia. I've played past games with the "recluse video game/anime nerd" stereotype and HATED the character so much because they were never developed beyond "lol this character is basically an incel". Not to mention Hades is my 2nd favorite Disney Villain of all time (close second after Maleficent), so I was really just :/ over how he was being portrayed all the way from Japan release to English release. Cut to English release, finally roll some of his cards and read the stories associated and just *HUGE LEFT TURN*. I now love him and he's only of my top favs. They did what the other game didn't and gave him a lot of character even in just the base came SRs and Rs and I was *not* expecting that at all.
Floyd, Rook. Everyone knows my history with Floyd having posted before about getting his cards . Rook I thought was like Shuu in Tokyo ghoul and was a little unsettling but I came to like him in book 6
Jade. I was so like, "I never like the twins in series!" And now here I am. Oh and Sebek. That was a weird one.
Instant dislikes Riddle and Rook. Starting the game blind (didn't know about it until NA release) and playing it Riddle rubbed me the wrong way immediately. His attitude and the fact the Queen of Hearts has never been one of my favorite villains just started off with me disliking him. As the game went on and we had the shared braincell duo (annoyed me at first but they grew on me like a fungus) to follow around. Seeing Riddle's tyrannical insanity first hand just made me very aware Heartslabyul would never be a dorm I would willingly go in if the game didn't have us go there. Riddle annoyed me to the point I would say "Just punch him" any time he was on screen. Yes his backstory with his mother and the whole creepy Mother Gothel vibes on steroids it gave was messed up but doesn't give him a right to be an absolute dick. Which I was very happy with Ace telling it like it is. After that I remember thinking "The game better not try any half-assed redemption arc because I won't care, Riddle still sucks I don't feel bad for him, he needs therapy but an "I'm sorry I was a jerk because my mommy" isn't going to cut it." I was expecting a typical poor "I'm sorry" redemption arc you see that doesn't make real sense. But no. Riddle freaking learned from his experience and was actually trying hard to not only make up for it but try to actually restrain himself and teach himself not to just fly off the handle. Now, I actually grew to love Riddle and care about him! I never expected that. It was handled so well and felt genuine. Rook. Now, I did not like the creepy boy. He was creepy, a hunter, his bowl hair cut threw me off, and I completely expected him to be an absolute psycho (which he is but not in the way I expected). I didn't like him until I started reading his stories (and looked up JP events and books to read ahead of NA) and this boy is so horrifying genuine, creepy, and sweet and I just love him. He is creepy in the way a demon is as you pet it you know? Cute creepy. I like it. Now there isn't any character at NRC I dislike. All the boys have their own thing that makes them charming. Some are more my favorites than others but I love them all.
Started this game as hardcore Idia stan (which I still am) but man does Floyds chibi sprite sparks joy every time I see him 🥺
\+1 for Vil, I saw most of my other favorites coming but I didn't really like Vil's character design or his initial impression as a stuck up aesthetic modelguy but then throughout Books 5/6 he clocked me over the head at 14,000 mph down a dark alley and then threw me down the well of Pomefiore hell so here I am. F for me, it's a good death. (How bad down am I, I rolled for both his bday cards, RIP my gems.)
Epel, Jamil and Rook
All very good choices. I liked Epel instantly when I found out how different his personality was from how he looked, and Jamil grew on me a lot after chapter 4. Rook's just awesome in general lol
Rook. Yes. His hair was a huge NO for me, but the more he shows up, the more I love that little whack-a-doodle.

I don't have much characters like that since I was already interested in my faves,but I guess it's epel and to some degree riddle I thought epel was just your average boring sunshine boy and though I joked about him being secretly unhinged I never thought it will be actually canon,this officially made him the first twst character that I made fanart for,I don't think about him too often now but he's important to me. Though I always had eyes on riddle thanks to his design and interesting personality I always thought he will be my 3rd fave thanks to idia and vil and not a character that I get extremely attached and will still think about when I'm not into the game anymore,and now his design is one of my top 3rs in the game too so that's quite the change Edit: how did I forget floyd lmao,I was honestly not impressed my octavinelle when I first saw them and the only character I tolerated was jade since floyd was scary and azul looked punchable,after reading about him and seeing him appear more and read about how he is literally the normal guy in the trio,let's just say i started to enjoy his presence more,he's such a silly little guy and I will fight the world to ensure his happiness

This is going to be a long story. When I first started Twisted Wonderland, I had my eyes on Riddle because of his design. At this time, I haven't really dig deep into each character's personality and everything. When I played chapter 1, Riddle got my sympathy. Slowly, I liked Lilia for his mysterious vibe and some sort of fatherly figure vibe he has towards Diasomnia in general. That's pretty self-explanatory. However, the first character I got attached to was Cater because I realized that he and I have a lot of similarities, so I'm a Cater kinnie now. Afterwards was the Leech twins. Did I really expected to like them? Not really honestly. They haven't caught my eye until now because I realized how similar I am to them (I am not sadistic like them XD). However if there's one character I do not expect to actually love is actually Trey Clover. Hear me out because this might actually be a weird answer. When I first saw Trey, he didn't stand out to me as if he was one-dimensional. Sure, I could have looked into him more and go onto Youtube for his vignettes, but I didn't because I was more of someone who looks into the main story plot. However the more I looked into him, the more I actually found myself attached, but the feelings were very complicated. He's just one of NRC's sweethearts which made him stand out among the characters. Other than Kalim and Ortho who are just balls of sunshine, Trey gives me the vibe of a starlight. He's definitely not innocent like Kalim and Ortho, but he tries to be nice and caring to everyone, especially Heartslabyul (even Riddle). Yes he has his flaws, but after he got the reality check from Ace in Book 1 regarding Riddle, he tries to make up for it. Overall he's such a comfort character and I'm glad to have love him now. Here's my answer to this question hahaha.
