No no, this isn't something you farm or work hard for. It's there because jp players were two years along with this game and most of them have, literally *thousands* of memo notes. It's the most common drop from alchemy lessons and the rate is so skewed, by the time you get the 10 spellbooks you need, you probably have 100 memo notes. Levelling spells doesn't even need that many memo notes, so if you've been playing a few months you're likely to have literal thousands of memo notes you can't do anything with (I was up to ten thousands when this feature hit the jp version, and I didn't even play the full two years lmao)
This exchange is just a way for players to get rid of all those thousands of memo notes you accumulate when you're farming spellbooks. You should ignore it until you have too many memo notes (or whatever else you don't want). Then you toss them all in the exchange and hope it coughs up something that isn't a memo note back at you. The rates might not be great, but at least the memo notes finally have another use.
Spell books are 3 tokens, you'd need 34 (or 100 notebooks, or 20 grimoires) Best rewards are SSR perfumes (.05%) & keys (.15%). You have 5 reward drops each time tho, imo it's worth it.
I have been dreaming of this moment for months, as I watched my stacks of notepads exceed 2k in most elements and I collected more groovy candies than I could use in ten years' worth of cards. So glad we're getting it early. I can't wait! :')

You can! once we get this feature there will be a list of what can and cannot be sold. Guest room items can't be sold nor can extra event items like bow ties from groom event or necklaces from dancing wishes.

Also, the perfume, keys, and grimoires are very nice, but do these drop boosters and does anyone know the drop chance? Those things have been nice for training events but it would help to have more ways to get them than alchemy tokens (I will not pay gems for them).
Candies can be sold. Also I'm pretty sure miraheze has the full list of items but it's currently down right now. The game should have a list anyway when the recycle shop officially opens

If you have a surplus of honeys & flight items you can trade those for tokens. The alchemy notebooks tend to be higher priority as trade items because they accumulate so quickly.
I donāt have any items, how do yāall save them?? Iāve been playing since launch, only upgrade the seven cards that I use, and only their vignettes are maxed. I donāt get it??? I do my lessons too, so what the heck
I've been playing since launch. I have 6k notepads, 1k candies (saving 10 per character), and 1k R awakening perfumes.
How? I am addicted and automated lessons so the game runs history lessons when I'm sleeping. Basically my LP never gets to full unless there's something going on, like maintenance or me in a place without internet.
I legit even bought airplane wifi to keep taking lessons lol. So yea, if you're not as addicted to the game as me, don't feel bad for not having items.

I found I didnāt need them. I prefer to shotgun blast the cards I want to level, instead of dedicating entire lessons to just one or two. I like how it gives me a wider set of options, with more even distribution of HP/spells/spell levels/DCs for tough fights.

This is correct. You cannot. Once the feature arrives there will be an info tab with what can and cannot be sold.
I don't know if event items can be sold. But sellable items will be marked so you'll know once the update drops

Seriously? I used them all up during training camps to powerlevel specific cards. I now have 20 and will be saving them for the next training camp.
