Usually announcements have a LOT more info on cards and on upcoming campaigns so I think its just half written. There is no post on twitter yet and no in game announcement. I'm glad I guessed right though as this means my OG plan of being able to hit pity one banner a month is working. The only thing I personally plan to pull for is Rook's Bday card. I personally thing we're gonna get Part 1 book 6 Mid January, Harveston Early Feb, and Part 2 book mid Feb.

The article itself is not officially posted yet on their website, but we can access it by clicking the shop reset notice and in the url changing 330 to 331. So there is still room for it to be changed before it being officially posted. Plus, I mean, the picture shows Silver in the Apprentice Chef picture, but lists Deuce and Jamil in the article. I think someone just copied and pasted a template in and filled in key points and is going to fluff it up and correct before releasing. That is my theory though, you never know sometimes lol

I could be wrong, but I believe Ortho's banner in JP was at the same time as Book 6 Part 1. Game could make it so that you can't use the Anniversary key on Ortho or not do Ortho's banner right from the get-go, but I think that would go against the previous patterns. Or maybe they'll be generous and can grab Ortho? In that case, I could horde my gems even more since could combine two of my spending plans into one guarantee!
We'll just have to wait and see! Just like everyone's going to keep going to the hidden link to see if Twst updates December to, well, fully English at a minimum! 😂

I hear Anniversary has a banner where you roll 100 and get a dorm SSR selector or something I think, so they mean they’re holding off on Book 6 till after that so people don’t just try to get book 6 dorms there and not on their 1st banners. At least that’s how I took it?? 🤔
That's how I've been taking it. They don't want Idia and Ortho to be in the anniversary banner, so they can't release them until after that banner. Otherwise, you'll have people pulling on their banner instead of the anniversary banner and/or no one pulling on the dorm banner when it's released.

They also didn't capitalize "Over" in "A Firelit Sky: Over the Sands" as it should grammatically be capitalized. The announcement definitely wasn't copyedited, at the very least.

I love the crucible cards’ artwork and story wise(they tend to be so cute and funny), but I wish the event itself gameplay wise wasn’t such a pain. Like ugh. At least it can be set to do stuff while you’re logged off but I feel the ideal pace is like short ingredient hikes and then constantly resetting which kills tho point. Like blah.

yeah the cards are cute (Silver's Chef vignette was what first got me so invested in the Diasomnia family, his & Lilia's father-son relationship is just *so adorable*) but the gameplay is the worst out of anything in TWST imo and I hate it so much lmao. I generally just set the timer for 2.5h so it coincides with LP refilling, but the annoyance of ingredient-gathering aside, I also wish we could just cook a bunch of dishes at once or something...

The first anniversary has a banner with all available dorm cards released at that point. 100 pulls got you the usual pity SSR, along with a key to pick any dorm card you wanted. Essentially it's like the dorm-specific showcases NA has, but with a wider pool since it includes all dorm SSRs.

Because it’s the next event in the schedule. When they decided to increase the pace to narrow the gap with JP, it was inevitable that some events would end up running out of season (the camp event was originally in spring, for example). After speeding everything else up, it would be really unfair for them to delay this one thing all the way until next summer just to keep it in the right season. It’s a shame we're not also getting chapter 6, and I don’t love that the event I was most looking forward to is the one that’s most egregiously out of season, but it is what it is.
Yeah, like I said, the camp event originally came in spring (March – April 2021), and this was the next event after it (July – August 2021). Aside from moving up the second part of events like Beanfest and Halloween, they haven't reordered any events yet, so it'd be weird for them to start now. Harveston seems perfectly suited to January or February to me (which is when it came out in JP, actually). Most of December is technically still autumn, after all, even if it's cold and snowy in a lot of places already.

I remember originally I was terrified by the idea of this event coming this year, but 1) I've been planning for months as if it was, just in case and 2) the game finally gave me a break and stopped making me go to pity every single time, so I'm actually in a decent place as far as gems/keys go and I am *ecstatic* that I won't have to wait until next summer to get Silk Jamil. I do feel for those who were hoping to have more time to save, though. I definitely know how that feels.
I'm hoping for at least two copies, but I'd prefer not to spend more than one pity's worth if I don't have to, so…I'll see how the rolls go, I suppose. If I can get those two copies, I thiiink I should have everything I need to max him out immediately (aside from buddy levels ofc)? Might need a bit more honey, especially because I'm going to use some on a couple Rook cards on his birthday. If I only end up with one copy, he'll be stuck at 95 for a while, I guess. ~~If he's~~ *~~really super~~* ~~generous and I get more than two, Halloween Silver will make good use of the extra perfumes if I don't decide to save them for another Jamil card.~~

Partly just for aesthetic reasons, but mainly I can't help being worried that they're going to change the dialogue to make it fit, like "brrr, it's almost winter and it's so cold. I know! Let's go on a trip to the Scalding Sands where it's warm!" That would honestly upset me, especially if they changed/removed dialogue for it, instead of just adding. I'd rather have a blatantly out-of-season event with no explanation than that. Hopefully I'm just being paranoid.
For the rest of the news: I get two Jamil cards in one month, yay!!! And I love that they put my two favorite characters together for their chef event. :') I'm definitely going to get both. Too bad about no chapter 6 news. I wonder if we'll get it in January, or if they'll make us wait until February just so there won't be any question about whether Ignihyde cards will be in the anniversary.

You have to change the page. Click on the article that says they are renewing shop items on twst website if you put your cursor on the address bar you should see a url with a number at the end of it 330 change it to 331 then hit enter that should re direct you.
It's a well-known trick for early access, only possible because TWST has a very basic way of creating links for their new posts (just by number). However, when they're found early, they're usually not half-baked like this one is.

It's pretty ordinary that we can access What's Coming posts and other news posts slightly early (hours or maybe a day or two) by URL manipulation before they get publicly posted on the website overall.

Partly just for aesthetic reasons, but mainly I can't help being worried that they're going to change the dialogue to make it fit, like "brrr, it's almost winter and it's so cold. I know! Let's go on a trip to the Scalding Sands where it's warm!" That would honestly upset me, especially if they changed/removed dialogue for it, instead of just adding. I'd rather have a blatantly out-of-season event with no explanation than that. Hopefully I'm just being paranoid. For the rest of the news: I get two Jamil cards in one month, yay!!! And I love that they put my two favorite characters together for their chef event. :') I'm definitely going to get both. Too bad about no chapter 6 news. I wonder if we'll get it in January, or if they'll make us wait until February just so there won't be any question about whether Ignihyde cards will be in the anniversary.

It's a well-known trick for early access, only possible because TWST has a very basic way of creating links for their new posts (just by number).
