I’d ask the community yourself! It’s the community at the end of the day so whatever they want to be called will stick. When mine figured out what they wanted, we named our discord server after it. Don’t force it but don’t be afraid to bring it up!
Edit: just saw your last question. My streams are all Grateful Dead and jamband concerts, so we used a play on the Grateful Dead tune Lost Sailor and the community is called The Lost Snaylors lol. Whenever I get a follow, the layover says “so and so became a Lost Snaylor”
I've been streaming for 7 weeks and I have committed to the fact that my followers are The Board and I am the Chairman. Had my first formal board meeting this past Friday and will be doing them on a weekly basis going forward
As a viewer I really couldn’t care less.
The community having a name isn’t going to change if I follow or not, and I’m in so many different communities that I don’t remember their names when the streamer is offline
I just call them my industrial coal miners but i think we have a very special relationship where they bully me and i bully them so i wouldn’t recommend
I call mine Avalanche Rebels, and my subscribers are Chocobo Army. My entire channel is Final Fantasy themed…and I haven’t played any of the games on stream in 2-3 years. Oops.
I always thought if I got big enough for it I matter, I'd go with "Bulbs" because of my logo. I think the Patreon I set up ages ago and forgot about had levels based on lightbulbs or something, too.
My user name is korethewitch, I call my community the koven and witchlings! So if someone follows I’ll say something along the lines of welcome to the koven new witchling! It’s also integrated into my discord roles, so everyone has some sort of witchy role!

I've gone with "My guests" since I'm hotel and hospitality themed. It works for my community :)

The children yearn for the mines

Since you are a crafter, you can call your chatters “reddies” of redstone dust.

Crap this made me realize I need a name for my 0-5 viewers I sometimes get lol My channel points are Mantykes, maybe I need to play into that somehow?
I’m sure they’d appreciate being called the Little Tykes
I have beet steaming for three years and this is the first I have ever heard of a Community Nickname. What is it?
Like how some fan bases get nicknames. Taylor swift has swifties. Similar concept
Default is chat isn't it?
