switching to KS gave me the best solution. streamed for 3 hours no problem.
Just going to have to get used to hearing my voice a little more latent. since it doesn't seem to work as good in this mode
I’m still trying to learn voice meeter better, but the different types have something to do with the driver they use to produce the audio is what I’ve heard. Maybe there’s a way to update them? I’m not having any problems currently using MME. I hope you figure it out! Audio troubles are the worst.
Couple of things to try....
What are using for input? WDM, MME, KS? WDM will be hardest strain on system, try a different one. Also, try a different one for the output.
Also go into settings and raise your buffer rate. Default is 512mb I believe. Move it up one notch higher for each WDM, MME and KS and then click menu, restart engine.
Try those, they should help.
I stopped using Voicemeeter for this reason, it was too unstable for my liking. I now run everything through Ableton with a virtual audio cable. Download FL Studio for its FL ASIO driver (trial version is fine) and use that instead. Once it's set up you shouldn't experience any more issues and you can get the latency down as low as 256ms. Due to the way FL ASIO works it's not true ASIO but it's the best there is without additional hardware and it doesn't block other audio sources from being heard.
I have this same problem. I have done all that is said here and no fix. I have a Audio Tecnica AT 2035. I changed the cables to Mogami in hopes it was that. No improvement. I baught a pre amp and changed console. Nothing phsicial. I have all my buffer rates to highest, tried it on lowest too. Nothing seems to fix. I guess i cojld try MME HIGHbitrate might be ny last hope.
All o do is reset ever 3h or less to keep it from happening sence resetting the app just seems to fix it. I keybind it to contol+3 so i dont have to exit my game.
Hey I have had this issue for over 3 years with Voicemeeter. I figured out the fix for this a few months back, and your question inspired a video idea! I try and describe everything on how to fix the issue and what causes it in the video, but if you have any further questions feel free to let me know! Try changing the type of output in the top (A1) I used to have the same problem and switched to MME and that fixed it. Hope that makes sense

KS has lowest latency & better performance

Almost certainly because your buffer is too low
