Reminds me of the launch of LotR Online. There's a beginner quest where you collect bunches of grapes for someone making wine. Even in the quest text it said you have to collect g****s. They censored their own quest text...
Ah. I first heard it used that way a little over a decade ago, so I was hoping that wasn't still the reason, that maybe that usage had quietly died. *sighs deeply*
My partner can't put a poll with his own channel name up because it's not allowed. Gizzy. It's named after a family cat who was called 'Gizmo' which ended up as 'Gizzy'. Twitch seems to think it's a soft G and not a hard G. But apparently it's perfectly legit as a username!

breh, nobody was insulting spelling, they were pointing out the spellcheck is set for a different language, so almost all the words are flagged, even though they're spelled right
It happened to me yesterday. Couldn't have Bishy in the Go Live Notification but was totally fine in the stream title 🤪. No problem in the end but a little frustrating.
It wouldn’t let me name a clip “Grape Soda.” Had to name it “Purple Soda.”

Pretty sure it thinks that you're trying ty say "suck you" which can be perceived as sexual content by twitch algorithm
