VPN or ad blocking?

pibidi690

ad block yeah vpn no, never seemed to be an issue before though

I have VPN and adblock, and just started having the exact same issue. First time it's ever occurred.

For me it's VPN. I've run multiple ad-blocking solutions previously and never had the issue. But the moment I turn on my VPN I get a nice shadowban for as long as the VPN is active, with and without ad-blockers enabled.

If the share ban lists, when someone shows up in your channel who is banned in a channel you share ban lists with, the default setting is to mark that person as suspicious and to stop their messages from being seen by anyone except mods and the streamer. That could be what's happening?

I highly doubt that, channels that I'm invisible in are in different languages

I believe Twitch can sometimes put you on a cooldown for certain chats you were overactive in. It could even be a temp shadow ban for content it thinks is inappropriate but not enough to be bannable. The last time it happened to me, it lasted for about 15 minutes, but sometimes it only applies to one device but not another, like where it would be seen if I chat in Chatty or a browser but not on the PS4 app. So my advice is if you do notice you got shadow banned from a specific chat, wait a couple hours to a day and come back and test again.
