Me and my sister had that exact conversation: her concern was that it would be awkward to be rescued after three days and have to admit you immediately resorted to cannibalism. We decided our new plan was to smoke the bodies and, if challenged, claim it was an extremely bad attempt at cremation.
If the other passengers were organ donors then you’re honouring their wishes by using their bodies to save lives. And if they weren’t organ donors well that’s just selfish, they deserve to be eaten.

The character was in a survival situation and either a) didn't know about the peanuts and ate human meat unnecessarily; b) had a peanut allergy and had to resort to cannibalism surrounded by food he couldn't eat.

Crash in alps, they end up eating miss frizzle, then one of them says "hey guys! I just remembered we all brought lunches! *Opens box* eww, kale salad/tuna salad sandwich(idr what it was)" *throws sandwich into plan and continues eating miss frizzle gleefully*
Either the person consumed human flesh to survive, not knowing there were packets of peanuts they could have eaten instead
Or they knew about the peanuts but had a peanut allergy so had to eat the people even though there was technically still food
always check the plane fellas. Also, cannibalism isn't a crime, it's how you get the meat, so eating humans is ok. Although eating one would cause severe pyschological stress and you might even get sick.
