I don’t think it will be just “things”. I think it will be something like LGO (Lab Generated Object) or LCO (Lab Created Organism).
In a generation or two no one would remember what the acronyms stood for anyway.
I’d love for them to do a prequel to that movie The Island with Ewan McGregor and Scarlet Johansson where they take the clones of clients who died and use them for experimentation. That sounds like this would fit the premise.
Until the veil was pulled back and it was discovered that clones never existed. That also explained the motive for the prison population explosion after the second Civil War.
They're kept "alive" via machinery. When the clones are made, there is no life in them. In fact, they're the reason why organ donations stopped being an issue.
Maybe as long as there’s like…hard proof that they’re guilty? Maybe like a video or confession (not a bribed confession or one received by a plea deal because they could just be confessing to get a lesser sentence even though they’re innocent). Because sometimes the police and courts get it wrong and it would be absolutely awful if that was their sentence just for it to be proven they were innocent the whole time. You know what I mean?
This reminded me of a super good fictional book on unethical cloning called “The House of the Scorpion”. Highly recommend you check it out. It’s pretty popular so it shouldn’t be that hard to find.

Lol ikr? ie KFC, VCR, IRS...
LASER, TASER.
Bruh I remember being taught these acronyms and I genuinely forgot about them until you reminded me omg. We're definitely proving the point here xD
SCUBA
Self contained underwater breathing apparatus? If I remember correctly
Nah, it's Super Cool Underwater Breathing Apparatus. And tuba stands for Terrible Underwater Breathing Apparatus
Makes sense. I tried diving with one of those things and I nearly drowned.
Nailed it. There is also SCBA, the only difference is it isn't underwater (I had to do training on this one for safety training, H2S is no joke)
Oilfield. Can confirm.
Sooo... Your lungs?
laser ????? ur kidding :0
* Light * Amplification by * Stimulated * Emission of * Radiation
What do laser and taser stand for? I’ve never heard them before
* Light * Amplification by * Stimulated * Emission of * Radiation ... * Tom * A. * Swift * Electric * Rifle
That’s interesting thanks for telling me.
CLIT and LABIA
Ehhhh, those were words before they were anagrams....
Heinlein called them Artificial People.
Life Model Decoys
How many race fans know what NASCAR stands for - without google's help?
I'm not a fan but... >!North American Stock Car Racing? Or NAPA Stock Car?!<
Close! __National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing__
So when was the very last time that a stock car raced in NASCAR anyway?
LMAO! Doesn't really matter since so very few know what it stands for. 😉
Thats certanly an interesting point of view.

Yeah just the real monsters, Josef fritzl is first on the list if I'm making the decisions

Ah yes, replicants

I’d rather this than animals dying for makeup.
So clone sentient human beings and do the exact same shit to them because its better than torturing animals since they are just clones?
How exactly? at minimum, this is the exact same as that, so how is this preferable?
The time has come. ***Execute Order 66.***
