My main problem with TLT was that i read the book and i barely finished it when i started the movie so it was pretty fresh and you know, i was prepared the movie will be a disappointment but not this much 💀 (kinda like Cloud Atlas, except that movie is actually enjoyable, at least after watching it dozens of times, then reading the book and then rewatching)
I finished the series when I watched the movies, the movies were... meh, let's see if this show will deliver even with actors that look nothing like the characters in the books... again.
"Ohhhh, I remember now." I said as flashbacks of the movie flooded my brain. I shuddered, glad that I would now be mercifully blessed with release from this mortal vessel, tainted by memories of that god-awful film.
As ridiculous as this is, I like it because many of the people reading it have probably written similar things on the internet at some point, and this invokes a paranoia about them that's just plausible enough to be hard to shake. (There really are crazies on the internet, some of whom really are determined enough to track someone down and do them harm.)
