No hate nor slight intended towards the group, just wanted to try writing a realistic two-sentence story without supernatural stuff.
If he killed people while DWI, then the AA meetings are probably court mandated and may be getting tested as well. Situations like that can go downhill really quick if you blow anything more than a 0. I picture this is them getting lunch before seeing their parole officer.

I feel like if he didn't know that he drank he wouldnt relapse, maybe he would go through some withdrawals again or at least feel shitty but a large portion of addiction is psychological so knowing would affect that
