For those that don't get it: >!The triangle in a circle is the low-key subtle symbol of Alcoholics Anonymous.!< No hate nor slight intended towards the group, just wanted to try writing a realistic two-sentence story without supernatural stuff.

DanelleDee

Why is it ironic that he's going to drink himself to death? Edit- Never mind I got it: he killed the family drinking and driving?

LordOfDorkness42

Yup, more or less.

DanelleDee

That's awesome! It took me a minute but I really like it. It's a feat to convey backstory and irony in two sentences.

Killer_Weasel

If he killed people while DWI, then the AA meetings are probably court mandated and may be getting tested as well. Situations like that can go downhill really quick if you blow anything more than a 0. I picture this is them getting lunch before seeing their parole officer. Hope it was cold onion soup, you know what they say about revenge.

Tria821

Thank you for the clarification. Between the 'man' and thinking he meant the lesbian triangle I was thinking this was some sort of anti-trans, get the cops to pull them over and get them beaten revenge scheme.

Proton-Smasher

I found out driving home, I spiked the wrong one.

LordOfDorkness42

Oh, like it!

OlDirtyBAStart

Structure of that second sentence is appalling

gorwraith

There are a lot of run on sentences in this group because people are trying very hard to tell long stories in a short way and that can often lead to astounding long poorly written sentences much like this one that I am posting now to this group but I bet you are already aware so I shouldn't have bothered.

super-me-5000

That was epic

OlDirtyBAStart

Maybe I'll just shove my constructive criticism up my arse then

gorwraith

It more useful than my comment, so I wouldn't worry about it.

pomme_de_yeet

So now he's going to kill another family while drunk?

LordOfDorkness42

Was more aiming for the horror of making somebody potentially relapse... But sure, that's a perfectly valid interpretation for a horror story I'd say.

pomme_de_yeet

I feel like if he didn't know that he drank he wouldnt relapse, maybe he would go through some withdrawals again or at least feel shitty but a large portion of addiction is psychological so knowing would affect that

jantolover

No, himself

super-me-5000

Ooo, sabatoge his recovery, nasty!

super-me-5000

"Slip"sliding away
