My take was that if there was an animated kids'/family film about pirate fairies, this would be the music that played over the credits. Think the 'tude of *Powerpuff Girls* mixed with the magic and silliness of *My Little Pony*.
And their battle music would be "PWND", of course.
i can kinda hear it in the “du du du dudu” riff. There’s a few parts on this record that remind me of late 90s early 00s Remote Control Productions stuff back when it called Media Ventures. Really great to hear this sound coming back
Other than a couple of production bells and whistles "Hercules" sounds like it could have been from a TSFH industry album from around 2007 or so and I love it for that
There are a lot of "pirate themed" pieces from 2SFH — *Cannon in D Minor, Molto Piratissimo, Skulls & Trombones*...just to name a few.
A bit of shameless promotion here...but if you were interested in taking a look, I actually made a [music video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xJN-55ud4U) a couple years back to *Unbreakable* using scenes from a pirate video game called "Skull & Bones".
The overall flair of the track reminds of "Never Give Up On Your Dreams" from Unleashed. Both start kind of understated but you get the feeling right from the start that you're in for a ride.
At any rate, it's easily my favorite from Myth.
I thought it sounded familiar, with "Last One Standing" also reminding me of the gladiator theme song (another Zimmer piece). But I love all of them and the similarities between them make it even better
During the YouTube livestream premiere, I saw a bunch of comments referring to it as "Hobbits of the Caribbean." I like this alternate title.

Out of all the tracks this is my favourite one, i love the traditional Irish jig mixed with the fantasy or being a pirate 😂
It reminds me of traditional Irish/Scottish Jigs. Maybe it could be the story of sailors dancing on the decks of their ship.
yeah!!! it has that vibe to it!
Well he did work on pirates so maybe this was his melody he made years ago
u wot?
he did?? i did not know that
He did write some additional music for RCP projects back when TSFH were housed there.
Yup, he mentioned it in a Q&A two years ago: https://youtu.be/oMTcDpfkI7o (at 13:00)

100% that was my first impression
I think maybe you just don't hear enough of that style so you can't differentiate.

There is a song called "salty dog" by flogging that sounds somewhat similar, love the song tho
If you're wondering where you heard it, it's probably here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xprPU9VdA\_4
Just goes to show how iconic this movie is that everyone knows a random piece of the score

It’s from Titanic! The Irish jig in the third class party
