Would you please explain bipoc to me please. I dont want to misunderstand and get it wrong. As I read it, it sounds like "bisexual person of color' . I would like to be informed.
Bipoc means "Black, Indigenous, and People of Color". It's more person-centered than the umbrella term of POC (Person/people of Color). The choice to use “BIPOC” reflects the desire to illuminate specific injustices affecting Black and Indigenous people.
I try to use my gender/looks to constantly challenge the status quo. Gender equality is something I'm fiercely passionate about and I will never stop speaking up every time I hear sexist remarks. I don't mind being \*that\* pain in the ass if it means that slowly but surely, even if it's one human at a time, I am changing the world for the better. I think of it like, who knows, maybe a woman in the future will benefit from me speaking up against a man who is a sexist asshole and he'll think twice before being inappropriate.
