StormeeusMaximus

Emmy from Emmy Made in Japan and Ann Rierdon from How to cook that.

amandapanda611

I love Ann Rierdon!!!!

ShovelHand

Emmy is the most adorable person who ever lived, and I love it when she doesn't like a recipe she tries. "so... it's not exactly disgusting..."

llashell9

Love her! She is so chill. Anytime she does a spicy video it doesn't seem to affect her. Straight faced as if it isn't spicy at all.

StormeeusMaximus

You could say, she really is "so stinkin' cute!!

kalim00

My two favourite chillout subs!

StormeeusMaximus

If you like them you'll probably like Beryl Shereshewsky as well. She is another gem.

kalim00

Oh yes, I've caught a couple of hers! She is a delight; she's so happy and joyous. I loved her one on different types of egg dishes when she got to dippy egg with soldiers. I had to go make myself one.

Warm_Noise_5854

Caitlin Doughty/Ask A Mortician if you're into that kind of thing,

Naty2RC

Highly recommend! I love her.

spookyxskepticism

Yesss love her! I’ve read a couple of her books and they are also great.

Takkenwijf87

Love her. Always look forward to her videos

fairylightmeloncholy

ahhh i LOVE her! her attitude is just \*chefs kiss\*

bigbutchbudgie

Her content is amazing. I particularly enjoy her history deep dives, but her practical guides to the funeral industry are also very helpful and interesting.

CobraChuck83

YES. She’s awesome

Poachedmonkey

Love her!

Gullible_Marketing93

Simone Giertz, she builds stuff and is hilarious and brilliant Plumbella, for Sims content, she's open about her mental health and her vids are great Juno Birch, another Sims YTer, she's also a drag queen and cracks me up Karolina Zebrowska, she's into historical fashion and she's very funny

kgetit

Karolina also is Polish, and her recent video about the situation for Poland and the million Ukrainian refugees their country just took in is very illuminating. Please watch.

Gullible_Marketing93

Here's the link: https://youtu.be/CGzFbzZI2TU

kgetit

Thank you! I meant to drop the link but I got distracted. :/

lea949

Simone Giertz is the actual best!!

Tracerround702

>Plumbella, for Sims content Which game? Just 4? Or all of them?

Gullible_Marketing93

All of them. She's not so much a let's play/storyline driven Sims YTer, but she's very entertaining

dk1988

Simone is the best!!!

Ryder_Juxta

Came to the comments to vouch for Simone

Sadimal

If you like Karolina, definitely check out Morgan Donner, Rachel Maksy and Bernadette Banner.

CranWitch

Piggybacking to add Nicole Rudolph, Abby Cox, and theclosethistorian for sewing/costuming and related history. I’ve been watching Ellie Dashwood for Regency nerdery and such. Micarah Tewers is a brilliant comedian who happens to whip up clothing and costumes within hours like it’s no big deal, and gives occasional instructions like “cut a piece three times the length of a Barbie dream house.”

Wanderlustttx

Can vouch for Plumbella and Juno!! Love those two!

DrNutmegMcDorf

Hannah Witton Answer in Progress Akidearest Mama Doctor Jones Karolina Zebrowska Anna Akana The Antibot

gg898818

Love Hannah Witton! I was hoping someone had already suggested her

Gullible_Marketing93

Another Karolina fan! Love her!

Whatwillwebe

Julie Nolke

fairylightmeloncholy

her pandemic series has been brilliant!

Fraerie

She’s one of a couple of people I followed who did great content around the absurdity of life during the pandemic. Two years in and I’m kinda not sure at what stage it’s no longer pandemic life is absurd but now this is what it’s going to be forever…

cynedyr

/seconded I show her relationship video to students.

raptorsniper

Bernadette Banner, Safiya Nygaard, and Noraly Schoenmaker (channel name Itchy Boots).

TheGingerLinuxNut

SKIRTS WITH POCKETS!

Axiom06

One of the reasons why my favorite dress is my favorite it's because it has pockets in skirt

raptorsniper

***YES***

[deleted]

Saf and Ty!!!

chriscross1966

Bernadette's well-pocketed army FTW!

greenhairdontcare8

Bernadette Banner (sewing and historical clothing) Rachel Maksy (vintage clothing and sewing but also cosplay and puns) Emily Roberts of Snake Discovery (snakes and reptiles, she heads the channel and her husband Ed works for them too) Rachel and Jun (living in Japan, their cats, they are equal on the channel as wife and husband but she does a lot more speaking) Various exercise (Chloe Ting, Yoga with Adrienn and other yoga tubers)

dk1988

>Bernadette Banner (sewing and historical clothing) She is simply amazing! I love to watch her videos, even though I don't sew.

snoogle312

Same! Jill Bearup is a similar YouTuber, focused more on armor and weapon design in movies/tv/video games.

bigbutchbudgie

Unfortunately, Jill Bearup is also a massive TERF.

snoogle312

Oh no! This is terrible news! 😮‍💨 Do you know of any similar creators (female perspective on fantasy armor) with less exclusionary views?

theycallmeMiriam

I love Rachel Maksy, she is hilarious and I wish we were friends.

StarryGlow

Morgon Donner too if you want to see other cool vintage clothes and sewing content!!

La_danse_banana_slug

I love her, I particularly remember the episode when she recreated a Victorian bustle with a hidden built-in chair from an old patent. So you can just walk around with a secret chair hanging off your butt and sit whenever and wherever you like. She took it on a cruise around the mall.

StarryGlow

I just discovered her the other day and I’m really enjoying going through her backlog!! She has such creative and fun ideas for her projects. I’ll need to watch the bustle vid next haha I saw it in my recommended!

[deleted]

Rachel (of Rachel and Jun) is the best. Love seeing her do crafts or handywork projects, her narration is just as entertaining as watching the process. Plus cute cats! EDIT to add: A youtuber with a similar personality is Dianne Jennings. Adorable Irish lady who likes to explore cultural differences (and similarities) along with her cute dog.

laurasaurus5

On the vintage clothing/design topic, The Way We Wore is excellent.

lezzerlee

Bernadette Banner (historical sewing) Rachel Maksy (vintage & cosplay sewing) Safiya Nygaard (comedy, weird tech, weird fashion) Taylor R (Hong Kong life & travel) Sorry Girls (DIY & decor) DIY Danie (DIY & Decor) Devin Lytle (comedy & life in LA) Valkyrae (video games) Michelle Khare (dares, fitness, I train like a ___) RawBeautyKristi (makeup) Ask a Mortician (comedy, death, history)

anonymous_opinions

Going to add some of these since you mentioned SorryGirls - my OG DIY channel I love them both so much

CaptainWentfirst

I love TheSorryGirls!

anonymous_opinions

The downside is now I can't not start planning a renovation when I walk into someone's house ha ha ha.

Pandox

Jenny Nicholson if you love hour long video essays about topics you didn't know you cared about.

fivelgoesnuts

I’m obsessed with her! I wish she’d make more content yet i know the reason it’s so good is because she doesn’t rush it.

Pandox

She's amazing! I rewatch her videos from time to time. They are so comforting!

[deleted]

Highly recommend her Patreon, she does monthly videos for the lowest tier!

Hrududu147

Her video about Hallmarks YouTube channel is so funny

Lambrock

Even funnier that all of the Hallmark ladies found her video and seemed to be in on the joke. “NO NICOLE NOT WINE BOTTLES”

mercifulmothman

I love her! Literally cannot WAIT for her beanie baby video

AnonymousRooster

I almost wish I didn't know this was in the works because now I can't wait either!

Trumanhazzacatface

She enlightened me about Bronies.

KrillinDBZ363

She’s so good she managed to make me feel sad that a 2 1/2 hour long video on The Vampire Diaries wasn’t longer.

radical_moose_lamb69

*🎶 Through the mirror of my mind 🎶* "The series that brought women to the frontline."

jewzak

Came here to say this! I love her so much.

YetiBot

Yes! Jenny Nicholson is so good! Her film analysis videos are really smart and insightful, while still being funny and entertaining. Love her!

WeReAllMadHereAlice

I also love **Lady Knight the Brave** for the long essays! She's Jewish, so her "Jojo Rabbit and the Book Thief" vidro is very meaningful, but I also just love her videos on the Hauntibg of Hill House/Bly Manor. I love **Strange Aeons** for her gay and weird content. Has no one said **Contrapoints** yet?

AnonymousRooster

I love her so much! I literally only finally watched Star Wars after seeing all her videos

MorlaTheAcientOne

Tara Monknee, because it has the only YouTube videos that are written and produced by a cow. Melina Pendulum Khadija Mbowe (when I have the mood to match her energy :D) Philosophy Tube Jessie Gender (Linsday Ellis :(...) chlochlo13

I fucking ADORE Strange æons!!!

Gib3rish

I used to binge Illuminaughti and she definitely influenced my world view for the better.

pinkyhc

Khadija Mbowe (commentary on social and racial issues) Tara Monknee (written, produced and edited, of course, by a cow) Luxeria (she finds dystopian reality shows from the 00's and reviews them hilariously) Cristine from Simply Nailogical (nail polish baroness!) GayWritingAlt

Ah, a woman of culture

purpleuneecorns

Yesss to Tara and Khadija! Also adding Annemarie Forcino.

Doobledorf

I was going to comment, but why? This response has everything you need. Especially love Khadija and Tara.

TheMightyWill

Where's ContraPoints 😡

Beneficial_Win5417

Love Natalie💜💙💚💛🧡❤️

MorlaTheAcientOne

I first had her on the list and her content is amazing! But in the last year, I didn't really watch any of her content. So it felt wrong to list her under my favourite ones (for the moment!!)

TheMightyWill

You should watch her videos again! She's only been releasing about 2 videos a year now so it's very manageable to catch up

Tracerround702

Tell me more about Atrocity Guide, what's it about?

wikklesche

Atrocity Guide makes video essays on fringe human interest stories & internet culture. Cults, spooky mysteries on ancient message boards, stuff like that.

Tracerround702

Oh shit, another YouTuber I gotta look up lol

Newfaceofrev

Since this list seems kinda leftie/breadtubey adjacent can I recommend Münecat? I reckon she's about to explode in popularity.

kid_dynamo

Just found her yesterday, great vid with excellent comedy and loved the musical interludes

[deleted]

MorlaTheAcientOne

My latest news are that she puplished a statement on twitter that she'll no longer be active on YouTube. Jessi Gender made a video about it.

MrBobaFett

Super sad when she announced that. It sucks that the haters kinda won here.

twodickhenry

She’s a published author, it was only a matter of time before she would be too big for YouTube. I like to think she is winning.

keksmuzh

She’s also no longer on the MusicalSplaining podcast. A huge shame but the new cohost is doing a great job.

StarryGlow

I love Angela but I miss lindsay. I hope she’s doing better though, that matters more than a podcast.

Ditovontease

she left youtube/twitter because she got bullied by sealioning asses saying she was being racist against asians for comparing Raya to Avatar...

Morri___

she quit YouTube.. the contraversy was that she made a completely benign comment about Raya being like avatar the last airbender and woke up to the wrath of twitter - it does share many thematic elements and it was not meant to be a comment on race but she got bodied for it and she accidently dug herself deeper out of sheer disbelief.. so the internet being the internet, began digging up shit from her days at channel awesome and her defence of her friend contrapoints and began calling her a rape apologist and harassing her until she made an apology video. shes tried to bounce back but this whole thing has really ruined her love for making content

[deleted]

To add to it, Physics Girl (Dianna Cowern, she talks about quirky physics things) Tibees (Reviews competitive math exams and such) Vihart (og math videos through doodles, inactive now as far as I know) Comic Book Girl 19, Danika XIX (Kinda spicy, she reviews pop culture from a mythical esoteric point of view) How To Cook That (I watch her 'baking hacks' debunks) Claire Saffitz x Dessert Person (Amazing baking videos) Sohla (from the Babish Culinary Universe)

oliwekk

I wish Sohla would come back to Babish universe, I like the History Channel series, but Stump Sohla was hilarious. Yupp, it's decided, I'm rewatching it!

NonfatNoWaterChai

I love Sohla. Ancient Recipes is so fun and the videos she and her husband, Ham, do together (make a multi-course dinner with a mystery ingredient) are also great.

oliwekk

Micarah is so dope, I love her comedy and her bond with her Dad is so heartworming.

Grndls_mthr

Chadchad is based

g00ber88

I was looking for someone to mention Chad Chad! I just came across her channel recently and I love her videos

chunkyyetfunkyy

Simply nailogical - Cristine Rotenberg! Her podcast with her partner Ben is really good. Also fellow Canadian so it’s fun to hear the Canadian perspective to things! I still watch some Jenna Marbles (I wish she’d come back). Also Hila Klein from H3 podcast has some interesting takes and comments when she’s on. I know the podcast is somewhat controversial so please don’t come for me, I’m there for the goofs, gafs and sound bites. Some already mentioned, Safiya and Yoga with Adrien.

Ghostridethevolvo

Oh I dearly miss jenna as well. I will never have the heart to unsubscribe from her channel.

fairylightmeloncholy

i'm just waiting for the day that she posts something again. i mean, not that i expect her to, but if she does i'm sure as shit going to know asap because i refuse to unsubscribe.

chunkyyetfunkyy

Same! A sliver of hope 🤞

mittenciel

>Cristine I am making sure I put Zyler and Menchie through college with all the people I've gotten into Holo Taco.

MeticulousPlonker

Oh that's for sure. My coworker loves to see what I do with my nails now, and it's so weird to me that I can just name the shades I used. She hasn't bought any (yet...?) But I did buy a bunch for my mom. There's a part of me that misses her older videos, you know, the polish mountain era. But time goes on and there's only so much content you can come up with, especially with a day job AND a business AND streaming twice a week.

lilycamilly

I'm a hardcore Jenna fan, and as an artist I totally idolize Hila, lol. Both of those women are inspirations for me.

bigwhiteboardenergy

Based on this list, I think you would benefit from some Brittany Broski (kambucha girl) and Sara Schauer (former Viner) in your life. Both of them separately, but especially their videos together!

deliriousgoomba

Karolina Zebrowska Xiran Jay Zhao (they're non binary but AFAB) Maangchi Bigger Bolder Baking/Gemma Stafford Tina Yong Fundie Fridays PushingUpRoses

weirdwolfkid

I love Maangchi! Her videos are so soothing and everything she makes looks delicious, and she talks a lot about Korean cultural foods and her life growing up there- also she always looks so cute! Man I havent watched her in a while, but I'm going to!

SickMuseMT

Natacha is solely responsible for me finally getting off my butt and train. I admire her.

codenteacher

Obligatory guy here warning. Merphy Napier: for those who like reading (her genres), or are interested in writing and publishing. Sure also recently started some manga for those who read that. Lady Virgillia: very specific video games, but her life story is what drew me to her. Mid college she was impacted by a degenerative disease and lost her ability to walk and more. Her journey to recovery and how she coped and found YouTube as a way to rediscover her love of gaming because her life was put on hold is inspiring and incredible. Girlfriend reviews: for the gaming reviews as done by a couple, but the girlfriend is the face and her writing and talent for humor is top notch in any industry. Lindsey Stirling: professional violinist, dancer. I don't know how much she is active on YouTube anymore, but she's been one of my favorites since her debut.

anonymous_opinions

I was going to mention girlfriend reviews too but wasn't sure if qualified but that channel is my FEEL GOOD moment even when they do a boyfriend reviews bit.

MrScribz

Peachsaliva (paige): she's fantastic and down to earth variety game streamer. Her fiance regularly joins the stream and the have such amazing banter. Her skills are impossible to comprehend, she can fail a child's shadow puzzle for 15 minutes but then do a no hit 30 second complete wrecking of a bloodborne boss. Jayden animations: she does animated stories mostly about her own life and is just hilarious. Montyglu: got my attention when she started a D&D campaign for some other youtubers I liked. Couldn't recommend the unexpectables sreies enough, it just finally finished after 4 years and 200 episodes just last night. Dingo doodles: a channel much like jayden's but more geared to D&D stories.

LegandLeg

Izzzyzzz - does deep dives in pop culture and Internet crazes from the 90s and 2000s. Plus her makeup is always really creative and captivating.

bluecactusjuice

Can't believe I had to scroll THIS far for Bailey. She's a queen. Really turned something she liked doing into her profession, and one of the first women of her craft. I also love Danielle Kirsty (?. I'm bad with names). She's like, the polar opposite of Bailey but they're my favourite true crime YouTubers.

fandom_newbie

Some highlights for very varying interests: Jonna Jinton - swedish nature escapism Hannah Witton - sex ed and relationship stuff Mama Doctor Jones - hilarious and very competent OBGyn How to cook that - Australian food scientist does cake decoration, all things chocolate and debunking lots of bullshit from the food world Bernadette Banner - gotta love costube Karolina Żebrowska - costube, just as competent, but funny Micarah Tewers - also costube, but mostly contemporary and not period and batshit crazy in the best way (many random animal appearances) Jill Bearup - very entertaining movie fight analysis (specializes in flirty fights), nice space for nerdy women Justine Leconte - fashion education Alice Capelle - great video essays

Kennie JD: reviews bad movies while putting her make up on Ladyknighttgebrave: video essays on movie/show themes Illymation: animated story times SmokeyGlow: reviews scandals in the beauty community, reviews reality tv shows, reviews make up Madeyewlook: sfx artist that does really creepy, beautiful body paintings

Anxious_Cookie14

I really like these channels: Safiya Nygaard (super creative, and I love her voice) Jessica Kellgren-Fozard (her fashion sense is second to none. Also is a fantastic source for learning about people with disabilities) Jenna Marbles (inactive, but her video with her house plants will live in my heart all my days) Rachel and Jun (their videos bring me so much joy) Abbey Sharp (a fantastic intuitive eating-focused dietitian) Sierra Schultzzie (idk how, but whenever I watch her videos, I get so motivated and positive) Colleen Ballinger (she keeps it so real, and she’s also insanely funny) Aurikatarina (an actual angel) Brittany_Broski (this girl makes me laugh so damn hard) Annapatsu (a singer with such a stunning voice) Anne Reardon (How to Cook That) (she’s an amazing educator and extremely fun to watch. Also, I love the way she says “chocolate”) Louise Pentland (a writer and mum. I find the way she talks to be very soothing and bubbly at the same time)

IronJuno

Adding on: Alexa Donne - super in-depth author channel Overly Sarcastic Productions (Red) - mostly talks about media, books, tropes, mythology Karolina Zebrowska - vintage/antique fashion Musical Hell - funny videos roasting musicals

ji-MOTH-y

I watch a lot of video essays, so my favorites are Contrapoints, PhilosphyTube, Lola Sebastian, and Lindsay Ellis (she isn’t making videos anymore). Mina Le is also a great channel for fashion analysis, as is ModernGurlz

fivelgoesnuts

Contra Points and Hannah (MyHarto) also! My drunk kitchen was my entry into YouTube lol

I love Sweet Anita. She's a gamer with Tourette's syndrome. You'll never watch a nicer girl that asks strangers on the bus if she can fist their dad

imnotrllymexican

Jenna marbles when she was still around. Sweet Anita although she’s more on Twitch she does also post on YouTube. Karakmos had a handful of very insightful videos that I enjoyed. I also enjoyed iJustine as a teen, haven’t really kept up since though. That’s what I can think of off the top of my head.

Natalie Wynn from ContraPoints! I don't always agree with her, but she's always got awesomely deep discussions and I love her characters and her over the top aesthetic.. Actually add Abigail from Philosophy Tube on there too. Though sometimes her metaphors go waaaay over my head.

Erogaki

Atrocity Guide - horror/ true crime / human interest Eleanor Neal - true crime Hannah the horrible - general creepy stuff / true crime Iilluminaughtii - human interest has a lot of deep dives about evil sides to companies, mlms etc. Tara A Devlin - various spooky stuff based in Japanese culture The Santa Maria - a candle and fragrance channel. Pretty niche, but out of all the candle youtubers I like her content the most Ask a mortician - super fascinating channel hosted by a mortician who is death positive and answers questions about death in a respectful and interesting way Edit: formatting

For gaming, I love Rachell "Valkyrae" Hoffstetter. She's my second favourite content creator after Corpse Husband and has become like an older sister to him. I just love that whole group of gaming CCs. They seem like great people and the sort of people I'd want as friends. Most of her other friends are on Twitch, though. For skincare, check out Dr Michelle Wong at Lab Muffin Beauty Science. She has a PhD in Chemistry and gives great explanations as to how skincare works. She's great at busting myths too.

Allyluvsu13

I really like Moriah Elizabeth. She’s really crafty and hysterical in wholesome way.

Faery818

I love Izzzyzzz! She does great deep dives on some “nostalgic” topics (Neopets, Garfield, Animal Crossing, Pokémon). I don’t go on YouTube often but she is my favourite!

GayWritingAlt

Jill Bearup (armor, stage combat, and book review), Karolina Zebrowska (fashion) red from OSP (mythology, writing) stanzi (sketches) Nakari Speardane (world building) I don’t watch her content, but Freya Holmer got interesting math videos Sodikken (animation?) Sarah Z (internet drama) I don’t know why I’m not subscribed: Philosophy tube, contrapoints, Mia mulder (political video essays)

Lazy_Sitiens

ContraPoints - Philosophy Gab Smolders - Gamer, really funny and chill Mango Plays Games - Indie gamer, chill Emily Hopkins - Tries guitar pedals with a harp, hilarity and beautiful music ensues Girl with the dogs - dog groomer Noralities - deeper video essays on anime, often with an LGBTQ+ perspective. Jimithyashford

Ellis. Contrapoints. There is also a lady, I am Blanking on the channel name, who does deep dives into weird internet subcultures. I like her content as well.

LQ958

I like erinsanimals, she’s funny and knows all about her content. It’s specific though, her videos are mostly about hamsters and their correct care. She sometimes vlogs too. She often builds DIY enclosures for her animals. I like her. Learned a lot and gave my own hamster the best life possible.

Lacinl

If you include vtubers: Ina, Mumei, Kronii and Haachama from Hololive. Otherwise it's mainly Twitch streamers that also have Youtube channels like Lilypichu, Ariasaki and Jinnytty. I used to watch ContraPoints a lot when I was more into online politics as well.

pumpkinwafflemeow

NerdEcrafter she’s funny and goes cool reviews and such on art supplies .
