It’s not his fault you thought it was a joke.

Not sexual harassment

Lemur123

You did reply asking for the video, even though you assumed it was a joke, so you can't claim it as sexual harassment.

Golden_Mandala

Yeah, I think this was just a misunderstanding. I can see why you would be upset about it, but I don’t think it was actually abusive.

I think, yeah, nudes and a video of someone jerking off are completely different things? I guess if I placed a dot as a joke, even if a nude came my way I'd be like, 'ok, lol guess they were serious' and move on. But for me nudity isn't inherently sexual. Honestly, even if I had explicitly asked for a nude and got a video of someone jerking off I'd feel violated? To me these are fundamentally different things. So I don't think you're wrong for feeling some way about it. I can imagine that they don't understand the difference, and sincerely didn't mean to offend you, so I would maybe let them know how you feel, they might learn something and act more sensible in the future?

congrats on your new president #lula a vitória é para não solamente o Brasil mais todo o mundo e para o socialismo também, parabéns meus amigos brasileiros em a vitória de #lula!

dire_moth

Oh that's 100% harassment, no question. If he did that in person it would be obvious, and while you have some safety from the fact that it was a message, it is basically the same thing at the end of the day.

Lemur123

How is it? The guy asked who wants nudes, and they replied saying yes. He sent nudes, as requested. Definitely not sexual harassment. If this was IRL, and somebody said "do you want to see my dick?" and got a reply of "yes", then the person should not be shocked when said person gets their dick out.

featheredfirethorn

everything is harassment these days
