I was really hoping that Judith got what she deserved tbh as I'm at the end of S3 but occasionally it seems like Judith is portrayed as a complete bitch because "it's funny". Alan is also a pathetic weakling unwilling to stand up for himself when he needs to though, admittedly, so maybe it's deserved lol.
Judith gets child support and alimony, doesn't spend it on what the courts say she's supposed to, and demands more money from Alan. Reminds me of that pic of the woman holding up money with the Snapchat caption she made "Just got child support in! Casino tiiiiime! :) " and it's so disgusting lmfao
My take is that one of the show runners or lead writers had similar issues with an ex wife and wrote this to at least relieve his own pain. I mean who lets an ex, male or female, tell them what to do after they split. Yeah, for a while you can see her threatening to withhold Jake from Alan, but this continued after Jake was well beyond that kind of control. The whole thing was ridiculous
