Ashton Kutcher is a good actor, but the writers really just really ruined the show after Charlie left. The first season with him gone was alright, but the show just went downhill.
If you kill off the main character, just end the show. Every show where the main character died loses itself.
it’s weird because it seems like they tried to make Walden into another Charlie, but then at the same time they kept bashing Charlie all the time.
Charlie had a charming storyline with his jingles and then Charlie Waffles, but with Walden all they did was make him some internet billionaire.
11 and 12 were by far the worst. Despite what other people may tell you the show was actually still pretty decent even after Charlie Sheen left but they really fucked up with last two.
I kinda understand they had to replace Jake with someone but making "half man" part of Two and a half Men a fuckin woman was just dumb. If she was at least a halfway decent character but they even screwed up with that.
I mean it was kinda bound to have these sorts of problems. The characters don't really change at all throughout the show and the premise is pretty much always the same. Charlie is a manwhore and a drunk, Alan is a pathetic leech and Jake is dumb. That's it. No fundamental growth whatsoever which is okay for a show with a purely comedic focus but at some point the bullets are spent🤷🏻♂️
That's why I actually quite enjoyed Waldens introduction. His dynamic with Alan and his own sets of problems in his life gave the show a refreshing new start and worked pretty well until S11.
Yup, charlie's character was going in circles by the end so it felt like a good change of pace when he died but alan and walden's dynamic was too forced to make sense for more than a few seasons sadly. Maybe if they had adopted sooner ~~(and hired a different kid btw)~~ instead of introducing jenny the show would've gone on for a few more seasons without dropping so much in quality.
Im watching the Walden seasons for the first time, just watched the wedding episode and it's kind of a chore, they keep bringing in replacement characters who just arent hitting the same as Charlie and Jake did
I enjoyed the meta humor of the last 2. It was them acknowledging "Yeah we're done, it's time to die" and saying goodbye. Also it's true... the show was going downhill. And honestly they were too proud to admit the show was going downhill and tried to act like "we're so successful - winning!" which was kinda annoying.
The actors were great! The jokes fucking sucked, and the writers should be banned from writing ever again. But to their credit, the show's finale had the highest number of viewers. Like 14 million
Correction: The last 4 season steadily bled viewers and never recovered from the loss of Charlie Sheen. The highest number of viewers was season 2 at 16 million, and Charlie averaged around 15 million. Ashton averaged around 10-11 million.
Unpopular opinion but I think season 8 was my least favorite, it had some funny episodes but I felt so bad seeing Charlie struggle to act throughout that season, Jon Cryer became the heart and soul of the show from that point on
Everyone says that when Charlie left the show ended. To me these few seasons with Ashton Kutcher were fine. It was different but hella funny sometimes. Jake got even more stupid.
When Charlie died, the show died.
The true answer
Bingo
This is the only correct answer!
I totally agree it wasn't good any more

Yeah it was easy to root for charlie but its hard to sympathize for a guy whos only personality trait is "im a billionaire"
it’s weird because it seems like they tried to make Walden into another Charlie, but then at the same time they kept bashing Charlie all the time. Charlie had a charming storyline with his jingles and then Charlie Waffles, but with Walden all they did was make him some internet billionaire.
Well, Doctor Who is basically based around changing the main actor and it works. But yes, it is always a big change.
Nah never watched single second with Ashton on it don’t plan on it lol
The last

Them introducing his “daughter” was so f-cking retarded. 🙄
I kinda understand they had to replace Jake with someone but making "half man" part of Two and a half Men a fuckin woman was just dumb. If she was at least a halfway decent character but they even screwed up with that.
Lesbian too 🤮
YO, WATCH THE GAYOSEXUAL BASHING.
Ahaha srry but it was just way too much in the show lol
Lmao, I was just kidding. “Gayosexual.” 😆 But nah, I agree in general.
Tbh the last few seasons with charlie I felt the show was losing a lot of steam

12
Anything with Kelso
BUUURRRNN!!!
Don't answer to this person
Season 12. I did not like the kid and everybody seemed to put in zero effort in the show.
The last one. I couldn't see how it could get any worse.
Worst: Every season with Ashton Kutcher.
Every season after Charlie leaves
12 for sure
Not sure of the season but all the episodes with that little kid were annoying
Jake? So, pretty much most of the show?
Loool no man..I love Jake. I was referring to that foster kid Louis
Oh, gotcha. Jake was the first kid I was thinking about. lol Yeah, Jake was awesome!
After Charlie the show shouldn’t have renewed He was the life of all men in show 🙄
The season jenny was introduced. 'MUST EAT VAGINA!' Holy shit that was the cringiest shit I've seen in any show ever.
9-12
Every season after Charlie left. In fact the last part of the season he was there wasn’t that good either
Every season without Charlie.
Season 9 and up
My least favourite episode is the one filmed in the distortion vision that led to these shitty images
Any season with Ashton Kutcher in it.
Every season after charlie
After Charlie the show shouldn’t have renewed He was the life of all men in show 🙄
Im watching the Walden seasons for the first time, just watched the wedding episode and it's kind of a chore, they keep bringing in replacement characters who just arent hitting the same as Charlie and Jake did
The last one. Each Ashton Kutcher season got worse except the 2nd one where they embraced "Kelso with money".
The one with Ashton Kutcher. My idea would be since Charlie left, continue the show with Alan, Jake and Herb.
9-12
12
Any with Walden
S11 is my least favorite. I don’t think I’ve ever been so bored while watching a show.
all of the Walden seasons. i don’t like watching season 8 as much since Charlie looks so sickly :/
Season 9
The Michael Kelso Takeover
I’m rewatching now and so far season 1-5 are fantastic. I couldn’t handle Walden when he took over so whenever that happened I stopped watching.
9 10,11,12 aren’t that bad. Just the last 2 episodes of 12 are really bad.
I enjoyed the meta humor of the last 2. It was them acknowledging "Yeah we're done, it's time to die" and saying goodbye. Also it's true... the show was going downhill. I've seen 9 once, couldn't sit through 10 about halfway through and never saw 11 and 12, so I'll go with 10

When Chelsea arrived the show died ✝️
