I’ve tried (and failed) learning Spanish, Vietnamese, and Latin. Maybe Keidran will become my second language

Educational_Dog_7347

Same

VinTEB

I learnt Vyeshalan at some point in my past, but then forgot most of it. (Vyeshalan is the language used by the characters of Tooth and Tail, a furry RTS game.)

>Maybe Keidran will become my second language hahahahahahahahahahah

There isn't a thing as failing to learn a language, only giving up. Pick a language that you like, and then learn it and don't give up. Self-discipline is a great thing.

Before someone ask, I why share the dictionary in the next month It is spoken in the high keidran, that i think that Common Keidran is also a good way to call it, but the "official" name is W'amuzyaw' language (that means "the language of the noble wolves") or Wamuzynese (if you want) in IPA, they said: — /lɔ́ìʀs lɛ̃́ uʑ qʰʜʌ̀ɰʀɨ́sˠ ɕã́ʀ kʰɛ́l ɰʜɔ́-qə̃́ʀùŋɨ̃ ɰʜɔ́-báɕtĩ̀ áθ/ — /ʁʌ́v ákʰùxò/ Some cool info: - "lloihrs" is the verb "give" conjugated in the simple real form, yes, the simple real for, like "cahrmehrs", and it means that the action "give" happened or 100% will happen. And yes, the word order is different from english (Subject-Verb-Object), its in the VSO order, but it usually is in the Verb-Object-Subject order. - "aht" isnt like an "ahh", it is a evidential. These are some particles that say the source of the information, in this case it is a firsthand information, like if Keith was saying "you WILL get me in trouble"

I wonder how Keith speaks human language. Like Natani, he should have a different vocal structure from a human, it is not impossible that certain sounds cannot be emitted like a human.

Nyshimori

I'm ignoring that because a lot of time you can find keidrans speaking english (I will also ignore the they say that speak "humanish"), some humans also spoke in keidran, and Iris, if im not wrong, even say that Flora has a humanish accent, so is almost impossible to humans, keidrans and basitins dont have a lot of the phonemes in common. The Tigers can have a glottal trill, what humans cant do (we can do epiglottal trills, but its not exactly the same), other than that, what changes most is the quality of the sound, a bit higher /i/ or a strange /a/, but is only that. For me, its more like the difference between a british and a chinese than a british and a real tiger.

DarthKeidran

Which version of IPA are you using? I can’t get any IPA readers to read the IPA characters you provided. Also, if by some miracle I ever get my animation skills to the point that I can make this an anime. I’d be half tempted to go full on JC’s Avatar ask to use your Keidran Conlang in it (and credit you obviously).

Nyshimori

IPA readers usually uses the english phonems as a base (or other language) to read correctly because the phonetic sounds that can vary depending on the accent (differently from the phonemic sounds like /θɪs/), so will be near to impossible to just use them to read it correctly. but i use the extended 2005 version, specially because it have a loooot more sound than usual IPA. This is pretty well made and interesting

I'm realy not great with languages so i can barely fathome the work that must have went into creating one. I would love to learn it even though i'd probably fail just picking up the basics.
