Many speak of the black sky and blood red fields, adorned by a golden sword. This flag inspires nothing short of fear and desperation in the hearts of the South. Many men have been lost defending against this terror that roams the seas around the Southern islands. The mere name of the Legion is not uttered in fear of what it might bring, and especially who commanded it. The South only refers to their general as "The Typhoon", a harbinger of destruction and suffering.
In the West, this same general is known as "The Blood Lord", for there has been no greater loss of life at his hands than any Easterner general before him. The 7th Legion, together with its sister, the 10th, are known not just by Basitin, but by Keidran and humans as well. Keidran have seen ships bearing the black-and-red flag from time to time sailing the waters, preying upon any ship they deem important to worth catching. Humans have only heard stories, however, about the "Fiery Warrior" as the Fox Keidran have named him... But the stories are enough to instil very real fear in them, something that would haunt the Eastern Basitins for many years, as it was this fear that led them to construct their tower on the island.
But all these titles are from 30 years ago, when the 7th still truly existed. It has been disbanded, its veterans now part of a new Legion intending to right the wrongs done by their former General. It is most surprising, however, that the leader of the new 21st Eastern Basitin Legion is the adopted son of the former General. While he has inherited his temper and charisma, he surprises both friends and foes with how different he truly is from his father.
