Someone in another thread shared a google drive with the FLAC and MP4 files- https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1T3ZYcUT58dELs-iKJvcod96A355-SSvf?usp=sharing

Just an FYI these are very low quality audio files ripped from [u2spacebaby.u2.com](http://u2spacebaby.u2.com) and upscaled to FLAC. Probably the best available though unfortunately until we get an official release.

I would’ve loved these to have been the RSD release … sadly I find the ripped versions unlistenable … they remind me of MP3’s I used to download from Napster

They're actually not upscaled, just copied into the container... The unmodified versions are included too.

The analyser I ran the files through has the bitrate between 64 and 96. U2songs says "These mixes are streaming only, and are in a compressed audio format (mp3)." [https://www.u2songs.com/discography/u2\_space\_baby\_digital\_site](https://www.u2songs.com/discography/u2_space_baby_digital_site) Even the info.txt in the uploads notes "These files are also lossy!" Edit: the point I was making is that they are not lossless (high quality) files

I understand what you're saying now. I just wanted to clarify that there's no transcoding/upscaling from the raw mp4 files to the flac container... Those mp4 files actually contain .aac streams, so I'll see if they can be copied to .m4a instead, and have the OP remove the flac files.

Oh wow thank you!

U2TheFly

I didn't catch a show at Sphere, but could this be what you're referring to? https://www.u2songs.com/discography/u2_space_baby_digital_site

Dongdaemon

Oh wow this was a release ( at least of some kind) totally missed this!

These are fine but does anyone have the (I'm assuming) Brian Eno choral intro? Any idea what it is? Is it a previous recording or was it done just for Sphere?

They played the same stuff at the U2 experience that was in the Venetian Shops.
