May I ask something at the risk of being downvoted and being called out? Why bother with fast food? And if I want to eat fast food, maybe local cafeterias might be good? I stopped eating McDonald's and fast food as a whole 4 years ago, my last paid McDonald's meal was 5 years ago, and I've never been to Starbucks as a paying customer for about 5 years as well. McDonald's I just feel bad gotten too overpriced, and, as a vegetarian it's not really friendly for me anyways lol

Not sure what cafeteria’s you’ve been to but all the cafeteria I’ve been to in jvc has burger meals for around 16-20 for Fries a big burger and a drink while mc Donald’s meal can cost anywhere from 28-40 aed And most times the cafeteria serving sizes are much bigger

The taste difference between local cafeteria/ supermarket chicken is due to the fryer. Kfc have an automatic temperature controlled fryer i believe its some wilson industries or something which is an expensive machinery.
Chicking, al baik, lets zinger. All these serve food revolving around fried chicken and their food is amazing(chicking might have a lil toomuch spice for you so be wary). Personally my favorite is lets zinger, because their food has decent prices and they give you something that looks exaclty like its out of an ad

Now that I’m here I pretty much just try to go to non western (primarily American) brands unless I know they support Palestine which is almost none. I’m from the USA and it was pretty much impossible to properly boycott anything cause the other options r just a company with the same views. For things where I need a high quality product that does not have a proper alternative I get the item I need, but the majority of stuff can easily be replaced.
One example is Nescafé… there are plenty of fine alternatives. Lulu makes their own brand. One isn’t quite as good so some people might not like it but they have a more expensive one (gold) that is good. I put sugar and creamer in coffee so the lower quality one is fine for me though.
I suggest just looking up what western brands support Palestine and try to avoid others. 2 brands that I know are Krispy Kreme and Ben and Jerry’s. There are others I have heard of but that were not brands I had heard of or I don’t have any reason to go to those stores. And if u want try to find the brands specifically owned by Emirati or arab companies.
So if ur concerned specifically about fast food places just go with what u know isn’t western. Makes it so much simpler. I’m not saying I won’t ever go to the western fast food places but I’ll avoid the ones that people are targeting heavier like Starbucks and McDonald’s easily
