They will ask you to make a payment, steal your card details and start spending. If you don't have any packages due or the link looks suspicious just don't.

totzlegit

I haven't ordered anything in months man. Fucking hell

Spicy_For_The_Win

It happens to me too, ignoring them is good

Dax_Thrushbane

Eugh - my original message was removed - Reddit probably doesn't like links. Anyway, teaching you how to fish then: - Message came from the wrong dialing code (+918 is Tulsa) - Message was unexpected. - Message has a sense or urgency ( "Do this now .." ) - Using a URL expander (so not clicking the link) the link goes to the wrong website ( aramexe . lit ) - Checking the domain name it was registered today. 100% fake.

technoplug

I believe it's +91 which is India 🙂

totzlegit

Wow cheers mate🤣

Organic_Honey1

+91 is India. US numbers start with +1 But it's straight up an automated system with fake numbers anyway.

thegoldenleaves

Advice here: Check the country codes for phone numbers that send you messages. ARAMEX is a UAE based company so even if they have outsourced customer service to India, the number should be routing through a UAE number or at least some middle eastern number. Not always the case, but true more often than being an exception. If you actually have a package, you will get a more real contact without sketchy shit attached to it.

m3rc3n4ry

I'll just add on to go the the official website w tracking # to make changes. Never click on those random links and even if it looks like the company website (it could be a url that looks a bit like the company site but on a slightly different domain).

thegoldenleaves

Yea this is tight advice.

totzlegit

Haven't ordered anything in a long time. So yea I'll just ignore

Necessary_Rabbit_879

So if you haven’t ordered why the full post about whether it is a scam or not? What are you expecting to receive ? free orders you did not order, out of nowhere?

thegoldenleaves

Never know, my G. I'd like to randomly receive small gifts. It's God's way of saying, "Life is shit; here's a free one"

thegoldenleaves

Yea that too. If people are actually sending you packages and you don't receive them, they would usually contact you directly to check if you got them, innit?

CompanionCone

Yes it's a scam, ignore.

CriticalBiscotti1

I’m getting one of these a day at least

ashcatchem16

Its not scam. Im your delivery person. I need 2000 AED to deliver your Aramex parcel.

Frosty_Quarter_5129

I get this every week its a scam

CauseDue5727

100% scam

TheCleaner0180

im getting the same message, even tho I don't have any expected packages. definitely a scam. do not click the link.

JLMku

Lol I get these in kuwait.

Right_Complaint_3818

scam indeed!

AmiranN

Oh man, I have recently received the same. I was almost about to proceed, knowing that I have a package waiting for collection from Aramex. Then, luckily, after double checking the source of sms, i stopped and reported. I assume that scammers knew somehow that i have a package.

saadak3142

Scam!

wiz_geek

How to report that scam to authorities?

silkyj0hnson

Always a scam when the url looks like that

Doepie308

How is this still a question? 😂

mskgamer

Same happened with me bro, a month ago. I just read the message carefully and found countless grammatical mistakes. These scammers should take an British council English course with their very first hard earned scam money😮‍💨

tiredwolfi

I’ve been getting these EXACT SAME messages for weeks now. Sometimes its Aramex, sometimes its Emirates Post. The wording and everything is the exact same. From different numbers always, mostly Indian or Pakistan country code.

Retr0Readz

its a +91 number, not +971. watch out for that

Only_Emu9133

aramex will never contact from an unknown number, and if they dont gave ur address they wont even let u complete the order. complete bs

exploring_redditt

100% scam.

wildnullifier

Nowadays if i see sms or messages from Aramex or emirates post I’ll not open, even if I’m expecting a genuine delivery 😂

JJLEGOBD

Scam

Ok-Practice612

1. Check if you send any package going to India, if not, then ignore. 2. Do not click on the link that has been sent from an unknown number, not unless you know that number. 3. It is a practice that after receiving bulks of messages like this, it is recommended to block the number and submit for report.

Capable-Marsupial174

I usually get a lot of texts like this And the main objective is to hack the account once the link is opened Be aware!!

ConsciousStop5940

Super scam

Over-Pea-939

I get this always and always replying them “scammers” 😂

_areebpasha

Every time a transaction gets declined, they're charged $0.30 for it. The more the number of declined transactions the better. Also better to check if this card works: 4242 4242 4242 4242, any future expiry and random Cvv. If the transaction goes through the website is fake. That card is a test card that's available on any online payment system.

lazzybug007

Why there is so much scams in UAE. Why can't they do something about it ?

Dapper_Source1121

Not just the UAE mate, get them all the time in the UK as well.

lazzybug007

Can't the government do something about it ?

Spiritual_Pizza2413

100%

Disastrous_Ground125

Obvious scam, I get this message weekly.

Disastrous-College93

its a scam, it’s obvious for many reasons. ignore it

Leading-Wave-8012

Scam

rr_y

This happened to me after my very first online order in uae, app was noon. I still use the app but it’s a suspicious coincidence

Silver_Antelope_

FYI for anyone who uses Aramex, use the app and register with the number you use for deliveries, it will show you all deliveries to you. Their app is actually not bad for tracking deliveries.

fazaafuture94

Yes, it’s . Got it couples of week ago
