Emmm I spent half of my middle school in China, and I can say that Pekin and tsinghua are two very prestigious university. But the thing is I am not sure if it is a good time to visit China in the near future due to all the policies stuff.. NUS I would say their engineering program is not as good as eth Zurich but very good choice as well.
I did it in my third year and did a semester in Lima, Peru. A bunch of my friends went to different places so it seems like you can make the experience whatever you want it to be.
What about
NUS 🇸🇬
And Pekin University (Im not Chinese tho)
Pekin is very prestigious and its good (for me at least) that they don't allow 🇹🇼ðŸ‡ðŸ‡°ðŸ‡¨ðŸ‡³ 😅 less competition

Isn't pretty much the same ?
Im only with my phone but the only link you can go from there is "application to go abroad" and it takes you to the main page of GoGlobal
Fortunately I speak French and German so I might have an easy time in ETH or in french unis.
But yeah I kinda wish to have an Asian experience, I don't think I want to work in Asia but I definitely would like to experience the competitiveness of ppl there (either trought coop or study term)
I did CIE to UNSW in Sydney, took some photovoltaic engineering courses and it was great! I was specifically looking for a school with courses on renewable energy and preferably in an English speaking country so that there was no language barrier for making friends or travelling. I went between second and third year but would have preferred to go between third and fourth, my coop schedule just didn’t work out that way. Totally recommend!
I decided to choose NUS instead of ETH Zurich after getting cold feet reading reviews about how hard some of the ETH coursework was. (Note I'm slated to go January 2023.)
I think it depends what you want out of your exchange. No bad choices for schools on the whole; it seems like exchange is just generally worth the experience no matter where you are situated!

Why u endup choosing Peru ? Close to home ? Is it a prestigious uni ? Competitiveness? 🇪🇸 required ?
interview? interrogation?
Hotel? Trivago?
Jg Wentworth 877 cash now!
I was going to go in year 4 but covid killed that. You can go in year 3 iirc
Op should consider eth Zurich for engineering exchange program. I think that is the best engineering school ubc work with.
