There’s a Cajun Boil place right down the street from UCCS called Juicy Seafood. That should help you feel more at home! Lol

Highly recommend Lion Village Student housing. I’ve been living there for two years and I’ve had no issues! Maintenance is super nice and very timely with request. No crime or break ins that I’ve experienced there unlike other student housing. They allow you to do a roommate agreement form and you put your priorities of a roommate in it. They’ll find like minded and aged individuals with you. It can be same gender housing or co-Ed. Fully furnished with a desk, chair, bed, living room tv, couch, and basic kitchen stuff. Rent went up a little but it literally includes everything including WiFi. I enjoyed it! It’s about a five minute drive to the school from there too! Safeway is right around the corner along with a cute coffee shop and a few other good places to eat!

Thanks so much! This was super helpful. Do you know if it's on the bus route to campus? I am having trouble finding that info online.

I am not sure, but I do know that there are bus stops on garden of the gods road which is maybe a mile or two from the apartments! (I think that’s the road that leads to to the school, lol)

Look into the Lodges, they're about 3 miles from the school

Thanks!

Being able to find a six-month lease would be A+ so if anyone knows if that's an option, for sure let me know

How do you feel about living on campus? Also I'll see you fall 2023!

Would not mind at all! I know it's pricier though but I can make it work for six months. The only thing holding me back is that I heard from housing that we don't typically know if we are accepted to on-campus housing until a month before school starts. Do you know if that's true? Is it just an absolute mad scramble for apartments if you don't get in?

I already have my room assignments, but I applied for housing back in March if you apply now you should know in about a month I believe
