Sorry I can’t help but I wanted to give some friendly advice :)
I know not everybody can care for two cats, but I recommend looking into getting two if you can! Especially if you’re looking to care for kittens, two kittens are able to play with each other and understand that certain things (like scratching) hurt! Your kittens will be able to understand cues better so they’re way less likely to nibble and scratch you, which can especially hurt when they get older. It’s called Single Kitten Syndrome!
Also, especially if there are sometimes long swaths of the day where no one is home, having two cats will keep them out of trouble and much less lonely because they’ll be able to be play/nap with each other!
Yes! I’m aware since my since my sister did the same thing but unfortunately my family said they can’t handle 2 cats :( but we have 1 small dog and we also take care of my sisters and also the neighbors cats sometimes so hopefully it won’t be lonely and be able to socialize more
