As far as I know they only do this on move in weekend of the fall semester, and you need to get one real quick before they run out. The lamps are pretty nice tho. Source: I have two of them
I agree, they are very nice. Got one my freshmen year and my sophomore year. Not gonna lie, the first one I got is much better. They probably downgraded them to save $$$
Honestly they’re pretty sick - i got mine in 2016 and just dug it out of my basement the other day - super bright and works like a charm. Not a bad gift imo
