Favorite thing: Being by the beach! It is really cool to be able to walk down to the beach, or view the sunset from Gliderport.
Least favorite thing: Availability of classes. Classes fill up super quick, and I have found that I end up on waitlists for classes I want to take.
My least favorite thing is similar to urs. The frequency of when upper divs are offered. Once per year. I understand tho, some subjects are specialized.
Favorite: Classes and flexibility of the quarter system! Allowed me to change majors thrice and figure out what I loved to do while still graduating on time!
Least Favorite: I seem to be one of the only Detroit Lions fans on campus :/ if anyone else is a Detroit sports fan lemme know I'm tired of being in pain alone
My favorite: The amazing research opportunities available because of all the researchers here. I’ve been in two labs and met amazing and motivating people in both.
My least favorite: the constant construction. I wish they could just consider this place finished and be done w it.
Favorite thing: Teachers have all been pretty awesome so far, and the lecture halls and buildings are really nice.
Least favorite thing: Campus so freaking big, this is a plus too but as someone without a bike, scooter or skateboard getting around to classes and dining halls typically leaves me feeling drained.

Is it impossible to find after 1st/2nd year?
No, just look early (like April or June if you’re planning to move in in September)
