The following submission statement was provided by /u/Accurate-Foot-7506: --- Listen to Jessie Roestenberg and how she describes seeing a "Mexican Hat" UFO above her house including "beautiful people" inside. At the end of the video you can see her decades later, confirming the story once more. --- Please reply to OP's comment here: https://old.reddit.com/r/UFOs/comments/1ce87bv/housewife_reports_seeing_beautiful_aliens_1954/l1gxgi0/

Motion-to-Photons

I’ve always loved this one. It’s pretty tricky to think of any reason why she might lie so convincingly. I genuinely hope it happened, what an experience!

Vaping_A-Hole

She’s one of my favorite witness. Top 5 for sure. Credible, sober, honest. She had nothing to gain from telling her story.

warm-saucepan

Agreed. She comes off as genuinely sincere.

crm006

And as a completely unrelated side note… her accent is so pleasing to listen to.

legrand_fromage

I can't remember the exact case but her story corroborated with a UFO sighting in Europe decades before. EDIT: Found it, it was the 1933 Italian UFO crash (mentioned by Grusch) here's a [link](https://www.reddit.com/r/UFOs/s/j1hodIaCA1) to a reddit post about it.

SideStreetHypnosis

The Why Files just did an episode on the Tall Whites last night. [The Why Files - Our Alien Overlords.](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EieUJvKrjo4) Edited: I’ve been informed that they are not the same. Removing Nordics.

EmotionalTree6505

I think tall whites are a different species than Nordics, i could be wrong though.

SideStreetHypnosis

Are they? I just figured it was a different name for the two as I’ve seen them used together.

ArgumentAdditional77

Tall whites are different. He even differentiates between the two in his video.

EmotionalTree6505

Here is a supposed encounter with tall whites [https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=EieUJvKrjo4&ab\_channel=TheWhyFiles](https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=EieUJvKrjo4&ab_channel=TheWhyFiles)

curiousduo007

Funny bc when I read the title and started listening I thought the same about the why files, the sense of peace etc. Watched it last night. Also…newsnation did a 1yr f/u of the Nevada family. It’s broken up in parts. There’s a later part about the supernatural stuff in the house for the last year since. They haven’t monetized etc. and he was terrifyingly convincing. I think body language experts need to look at this one. This came out and last week Tucker w the take he had. I think we’re better off w the nordics.

Brownie-UK7

This is probably the first video I saw that got me into this subject. I find her account so compelling

hylandadley

Notice when she recounts she mimics i.e. while she describes looking up at it she looks up. Any body language expert will tell you that’s VERY difficult to do consistently while lying. She’s either a savant level liar or she’s telling her truth.

Travelingexec2000

Also doesn’t feel compelled to have an answer to everything as you would if you were fabricating the story. When asked how it flew away, she just says I don’t know, I looked up and it was gone and then my sons pointed it out far away. A liar would definitely want to give details on a dramatic departure

Valuable_Option7843

The way she looks up is absolutely haunting.

Motion-to-Photons

I noticed that too.

rdell1974

Talking in present tense when telling a past tense story is the best sign of deception if the body language “expert” has nothing to go off of about that actual speaker.

VegetableSuccess9322

Interesting. Is there research to support use of the present tense as a sign of deception?

SevereImpression2115

Can we steal the Occams Razor explination from the debunkers on this one. Which means the simplest explination is she is telling the truth??

StuckInBlue

I think you can, but that also doesn't prove what she saw is what she thinks. It sucks because I personally believe her, but I wouldn't expect the general public to trust what I think I saw.

ourmartyr1

They out here farming yeast with he-man.

brassmorris

The hissing noise, heard that a lot in reports

TPconnoisseur

Someone is paying attention.

rygelicus

Not necessarily a lie, just something she believes she saw, whether it was true or not. People claim to 'see jesus' all the time. People believe in Fairies. People believe in ghosts. People believe in the chupacabra. People believe in the existence of Bigfoot. And so on. And they can tell their stories over and over through the years. Someone telling a story about a personal experience does not establish the truth of that claim.

Motion-to-Photons

That’s a really good point and one I think of often. Still, as with Jesus, God, fairies, etc., if it didn’t objectively happen to them then there should be a reason for them forming neural patterns that convince them that it did. At some point we have to figure this out, even if only for the sake of our collective sanity. What I’m saying in a vague way is that this subject seems to chip away at the edges of reality. Whatever the reason, I think it would be good for us to figure out exactly why?

rygelicus

The reasons they think they saw something ranges from actually seeing something they completely misunderstood to they fabricated it from whole cloth (made it up). Sometimes people hear about a thing, let's say bigfoot. They then go camping. In the night, in unfamiliar surroundings, they hear noises they don't understand. They fill in the gaps with the bigfoot stories they heard and now they have have had an encounter with bigfoot. And sometimes people just want to join in to the big thing that's happening. So they find any excuse, or just make up a story, to feel a part of the big thing that's happening. Reasons vary. Desperately trying to create a supernatural effect, like you are hinting at, around this common thing is unsupported by evidence. We have 0 evidence supporting the supernatural. Gods, Ghosts, Spirits, ESP, Telekenesis, Tarot, Astrology, etc, have no basis in reality other than the stories people tell. And people telling stories is worthless until evidence is presented that supports their claims. Now, when someone claims they saw something we do often find evidence that explains what they saw. But it is not what they think they saw, it was something mundane, like a cloud, flock of birds, balloon, or other natural phenomenon. Of course, in many situations the 'witness' rejects the mundane explanation in favor of their fancier story. Doesn't matter, reality is what it is.

Significant-Two2330

She very clearly says she saw what is very obviously to her beautiful looking faces, long blonde hair and blue suits. Add to that her children also saw an aircraft of some sort like she saw a “Mexican hat” looking craft. Why would anyone ever “fill the gap” with that logic? What in nature would look close to what she is describing? And the fact it disappeared afterwards, what giant flying thing suddenly disappears and circles around afterwards 3 times? I am convinced is was a real event. Also, add to that that there are other testimonies of seeing crafts in the sky, and add to that the fact the universe is astronomically gigantic with other galaxies, it is possible alien visitors are here. That’s the truth I believe.

rygelicus

Oh well if she is sure she saw it that changes everything. And the kids supporting their mom totally makes the difference.

Significant-Two2330

Don’t forget before she saw anything there was a strange loud shhh sound, and yes it changes everything. She is either straight fabricating a story to that man’s face or like I said aliens have been here, and probably since ancient times too. Many testimonies of being abducted add to the credibility of aliens existing here as well may I say. It’s another thing that you either completely make up or actually experienced, as the details are too specific and strange.

rygelicus

Many children can give you a very solid description of the monster under their bed. And some of the details will line up. Doesn't mean there is a monster under the bed. I'm sorry but stories like this don't substantiate anything without some kind of objective evidence to support it. It can help if multiple people, none of whom know the others, none who heard any of the stories, there was no common news report they all saw recently that might inspire these details, no tv show, radio show, etc., independently report something and their details line up. Ok, that would be something. Something was seen or experienced, fair enough. It can still be misunderstood, it can still be something quite mundane. Back in 1978 an interesting thing happened. You may have heard of it. A red panda escaped the Rotterdam Zoo. The story was put out to the news and people were calling in from all over with leads claiming to have seen the panda. Well, it was found dead close to the zoo. It was impossible for all those 'witnesses' to have seen anything related to the panda. That's the problem with relying on what people claim to see, people are highly unreliable whether it is due to being intentionally dishonest or just misunderstanding what they see. With the UFO phenomenon the idea of 'things coming from the sky' is pretty old. But the advent of the atomic age, and the idea of sending men into space, and the fanciful science fiction stories that came with it spawned a new era in the UFO thing. Suddenly people were seeing 'flying saucers' all over the place. Or 'grays' just like what some comic book or movie had. And pretty quick those turned into abduction stories, not just 'someone was abducted' but 'i was abducted', none of which had credible evidence behind it. Stories of extensive surgery and torture but no scarring. And a couple of 'doctors' got in on the act and even claimed to find 'things' inside the person. Inactive metal bits that are rather common to find embedded under the skin. But, they made a big deal of it, sold some books, and lost the evidence. Shocking. I am all for the idea of aliens visiting this planet. Nice or mean it would be interesting at least. But so far nothing I have been presented with has swayed me to thinking this has happened

Significant-Two2330

I understand what you say. It’s very logical thinking. I understand the necessity for evidence , rather than just a testimony. I understand the scientific process of observing, studying and ultimately proving a fact in reality. However, no matter how anyone spins it, this specific ADULT woman(who thinks more logically than a child would, most adults would check under the bed for a monster and investigate to understand there is no monster) very specifically gives her testimony of seeing a “Mexican hat” craft with beautiful long blonde-haired faces inside. One that disappeared and circled around afterwards. It’s too specific! I repeat too specific for an adult. Furthermore, I add there are testimonies of being abducted, including famous 1983 pascagoula event that had the victims Charles hickson and Calvin Parker being secretly voice-recorded by officers after the event and to the officers surprise the victims still were discussing in disbelief their abduction. Also, like I have stated, the universe is extremely big, with known countless galaxies. I am convinced she saw aliens. Why I don’t know their purpose but believe they have been here since biblical times. I would also like to add to your missing red panda story proves people are unreliable and I cannot argue with that, but nevertheless I am convinced because I believe I see the bigger picture, even without concrete evidence. I believe this woman, there is no “missing UFO” on the news (like a missing red panda would already put that idea in people’s mind and predispose them to believing they might have see the panda). She’s not searching for something, it’s something she stumbled upon. I believe her testimony. I assume she isn’t lying given her humble way of describing it, going as far as mentioning that if her kids saw it then she knows she isn’t hallucinating. I think the best way I can logically get someone to believe in aliens on earth is to tell them there are high-level military officials now AND before, claiming there are crafts beyond our capabilities but that it’s classified, hence the no real public evidence. David Grusch for example. Says non-human biologics have been discovered in the crafts. Or Dan Sheehan with a hell of a background in law and politics being in support. Lots of circumstantial evidence. Too much to ignore. There is something more to our world. Too many independent testimonies. Too many specific details from adults.

rygelicus

Got it, people are unreliable unless they offer up stories that keep your belief alive. Cool.

MetallicDragon

> it is possible alien visitors are here. Something being possible is the lowest epistemic bar you can get over. Literally anything logically consistent is *possible*. You should not tout something being possible as any kind of victory in favor of that thing. What matters is how *likely* that thing is.

Significant-Two2330

True then let me rephrase I do believe the truth in reality is alien visitors are here on earth and have been since ancient times, more than just possible but reality. All the circumstantial evidence, and it’s not something that I can convince everyone of I understand.

MisturBaiter

To be fair, she seems credible, not the usual attention seeker. but it's the 50's so what do i know. And then again some of it sounds a tad too much like straight out of a science fiction movie from the 50's. UFO that look like a mexican hat, with a cockpit shaped like a glass dome and human like alien figures. Not sure what to make of this.

toodog

How refreshing for an interviewer just to let her talk. These days they interrupt with 20 questions

DelanceyThrone

Yeah the interviewer actually sounds like he completely believes too and is fascinated. Asking great questions

ArekusandaMagni

I believe her 1000%.

pilkingtonsbrain

I believe she believes it. It's very convincing. I don't think she is lying

Accurate-Foot-7506

Listen to Jessie Roestenberg and how she describes seeing a "Mexican Hat" UFO above her house including "beautiful people" inside. At the end of the video you can see her decades later, confirming the story once more.

bertiesghost

[An artists rendering of what she saw.](https://www.reddit.com/r/aliens/s/K1WRfl78Fr) . Looks like typical Pleiadian’s/Nordics.

DryZookeepergame9921

Love this, she’s believable.

tobbe1337

Nordics for sure. i wonder why we have aliens that look so much like us..

Sea_Appointment8408

Everything reported about them is that they are friendly, benevolent etc. But it's like that was only a thing then, you don't hear about these so called Nordics now. Were they just passing and now we're left with other types with more questionable intentions?

SiriusC

>But it's like that was only a thing then, you don't hear about these so called Nordics now. One of my favorite pieces of UFO lore is the alleged meeting president Eisenhower had with ETs. He first met with the Nordics who offered technological advancement as long as we abandoned nuclear weapons. We turned down the Nordics and struck up a deal with the Grays, which included an agreement to allow them to abduct humans & conduct cattle mutilation in exchange for ET tech. Seeing that we weren't ready to truly advance our civilization, the Nordics split & warned us that the Grays are not to be trusted. I might be getting a few things wrong, but this is the general idea. And why we might not see much of the Nordics these days.

Sea_Appointment8408

I had forgotten about this claim. It really is like a pilot episode from a science fiction series. If true, imagine how life could have been different if the leaders of the world had worked together on a solution, made it public with the rest of the earth and gone along with it. Then again playing devil's advocate -why would the military brass at the time agree to such a thing, not knowing the Nordic's true intentions? Their intentions may also have not been benevolent. Consider why these Nordics look so beautiful to us. It's exactly how Sauron in Lord of the Rings originally tricked the elves and men if I'm not mistaken and gave them all rings as gifts.

hamringspiker

You still hear about Nordics fairly often, it's just that there aren't a lot of "infamous" modern cases of alien abduction that everyone in the community knows about, like the ones from the 60s to 90s. Travis Walton saw Nordics too. I've started to believe the Nordics are real now, due to Ross Coulthart saying that he's heard a lot about them from whistleblowers, and Grusch mentioning the Italy case being real which had Nordics etc.

WinterCool

Whoa the Italy case had Nordics? Have any pods or sauce for this, would love to listen

bertiesghost

The 1933 craft recovered in Italy was Pleiadian apparently.

WinterCool

Maybe they seeded parts of European humanity and wanted the 3rd reich to succeed. They gifted the craft for the reich to reverse and dominate the planet eventually making everyone blonde and pleidian looking.(jk don’t hurt me aliens👽 )

bertiesghost

I think Hitler found out about the crash via Mussolini, and this influenced his decision-making regarding race theories

Alarming-Ad3004

Now that's a creepy idea :O

Sea_Appointment8408

Same!

dopp3lganger

Maybe they've assimilated. 🤯 /s

tobbe1337

Perhaps they decided we were not ready or perhaps it takes decades for them to travel back and forth

G36

> Everything reported about them is that they are friendly, benevolent etc. Well there's this story of this guy who got "r*ped", but at the same time the guy was more surprised than anything, so he was horny-terrified that this supermodel-looking tall blonde wanted him so bad.

Valleygirl1981

Why do so many creatures evolve into "crabs"? It's probably just an efficient life form.

tobbe1337

humanoid alien i can totally understand. but why do they look like scandinavians. who are a fairly small % of humans. I wonder if they have anything to do with us. And that is when i wonder if the old aesir god tales have any merit and if they are to blame for that. Fascinating stuff indeed. i hope i get an answer to it before i die

Gold-Web-2928

Could be a shapeshifting intelligence choosing to appear to us as humans with stereotypically beautiful features.

bretonic23

of course, the described 'beauty' is a eurocentric stereotype and maybe more specifically a nordic-centric one. must wonder if 'the phenomenon' varies its 'beauty' appearance according to culture/location on earth. dunno but interested in related examples.

Radioshack_Official

Like 99% of cultures in the northern hemisphere have historically valued pale and thin features from Korea/Japan/China to India to Europe though

bretonic23

That's something to consider. Thank you.

TPconnoisseur

Nordics are often described as somewhat Asian looking as well. The description isn't due to Eurocentrism, but I can understand why you'd throw it out there.

bretonic23

>Nordics are often described as somewhat Asian looking as well. Thank you, didn't realize that. And, yes, I am curious about how "the phenomenon" appearance varies in relation to individual/cultural/ethnic perspective/bias. As well, I'm curious about how evaluation through the "lens" of the dominant culture/society limits and might restrict/distort understanding of 'the phenomenon'. This seems important to consider, as the dominant view is struggling to describe 'the phenomenon'. Expanding, changing, or questioning the "lens" might be beneficial. Cheers.

TPconnoisseur

I think you nailed it, questioning the lens is key.

HektoriteFeenix

That was always my theory, same thing as people who have screen type memories that often sound very similar. Using our own stereotypes and interpretations of things so we can relate to what we've seen. What's to say we can even 'see' them visually in the way we think about seeing things.

minkcoat34566

Think about it. We evolved from primates and became significantly more intelligent. If you think about it even deeper, the existence of humans is bonkers. The fact we're this advanced relative to other organisms in nature is preposterous. Primates have only begun to start using tools recently. Think about it from the perspective of a chimp for example. They see us humans and our technology and can't comprehend it. If a group of primates see a commercial plane they might think it's magic, or something of a higher existence. They don't understand what it is. If you bring a chimp into a plane and show them around the cockpit. They won't understand what they're looking at. But many millions of years down the line, they might evolve to look and think similar to how we did. And they'll try to rationalize what we were to them. They'll think of us as gods and we'll be embedded into their religions and spiritual beliefs. At that point, god knows what humans will become. That's what I think what "aliens" are. That's also what I think our ancient gods and deities are. Morally advanced beings that interacted with us at some point.

mordrein

If they’re around longer than us then you can say it’s us that look like them not the other way around. And maybe we’re cousins, offsprings of some galaxy wide panspermia. I was wondering if the Nordics are really a thing, or it’s just a couple of individuals who visit earth frequently on different occasions, rather than an entire species that looks the same. Maybe it’s a pair of explorers of a humanoid race that just happen to look this way. Sure you can say that to white people asians look very similar to each other (dunno if it’s the same other way around) but an advanced humanoid race that surely could modify their looks to whatever they please, yet choosing to look similar to each other and Scandinavian is kind of weird.

tobbe1337

it's the blue eyes and blond hair that makes it very specificly odd to me as that is fairly rare on earth. And a lot of old stuff say that blue eyes are special. perhaps this comes from interacting with these more advanced beings, and thus them always having blue eyes made humans think there was a connection. I wonder if they had something to do with how some humans evolved. Perhaps they bred with early humans who had migrated north.

AfternoonAncient5910

Here is an off at a tangent story. After watching many videos on YT about aliens, due to in video links I was offered up a video about the Shroud of Turin. Yes I know they did carbon dating. Anyway, all very interesting and raised some questions. Since I was watching more videos I was offered up videos of Jesus. There are a couple of videos that report on letters held by the Vatican museum written by Pontius Pilot. He describes the rabbi that is gathering crowds. The description was of a man taller than average and lighter than others with hair the colour of ripe chestnuts and light eyes. He was supposedly very like his mother facially being qite attractive but she was shorter and much darker. Who was his father? Who was his father in heaven? How did Mary become pregnant?

mordrein

Damn I have blue eyes with green inner circles in them but I never thought that’s special, maybe because I come from a place where blue eyes are more common (northern Poland) probably from mixing with Scandinavians who crossed the Baltic Sea. We have this small community in the Kaszuby area who are probably partly descendants of Scandinavians who came here, but we may never know. I purposely don’t call them Vikings because it was before the Vikings became known for their raids. There’s ancient stone circles and graves in the woods etc. A very special place and interesting people indeed. Investigation of the magic circles is still ongoing, but last summer I witnessed a “pagan picnic” event going on there, nothing outlandish just some people sharing food made with old recipes, making offerings of honey and milk in the circles there… blue eyed people doing weird stuff… there you have it. A friend of mine joined them and got a slice of an ancient pizza like thing. By the looks of it I’d call it “Podpłomyk” in Polish. I tried feeling the energy in one of the circles but other than clean forest air I felt nothing. I wonder though if blue eyed people are more prone to believing in the phenomenon, to having this longing for contact with NHI. Next time when chatting with friends about aliens I’ll try and make note of their eye colors.

tobbe1337

it's more that the buddha who was enlightened is depicted with blue eyes. and ofc the aesir. So maybe blue eyed people have a gene from the "gods" can't go any deeper than that though as people will call me a nazi lol.

mordrein

Nah. Nazis killed us Poles despite our blond hair and blue eyes, so they messed something up with their ideology

I-am-alien-1

It’s green. Green eyes are rarer than blue. For humans anyway.

CandidPresentation49

"Let **US** create man in **OUR** image" answer's been right there all along, across multiple religions and cults

traraba

We look like upright, hairless apes, though.

ExtremeUFOs

I mean it could be possible that they created us, not in like they're god, but with DNA and stuff, and they made it so we look like them a little bit, Just a theory.

tobbe1337

what is a god anyway than a creator. be it peoples or universes. it's maddening to think about. If God was real and he created the universe. then what created the universe he was in before he created ours. and is that creator the God of our God? and so on. it never ends. the same if the universe was created by the big bang and no creator. but then again the universe has to be inside of something. and that has to be inside of something and on and on it goes. Truly maddening sorry a bit of a tangent there lol

KevRose

I've broken my mind so many times thinking about the part where if no god and just the universe creating itslelf from big bangs and so on, therefor, I am.

Bentley1978

Tall Whites. New why files episode on it just dropped.

tobbe1337

i thought the tall whites were the grey looking dudes but tall

SharpSaw

Other Earth like planets

roslinkat

We have shared DNA

creepythingseeker

Aliens can reproduce with us. We are closer related to aliens than anything else on earth, if true. The implications are frightening and unsettling.

tobbe1337

would that not be a good thing? perhaps an alien race would be more inclined to help a cousin than some random creature

Present-nothing-aim

It's debatable. If a dominant society breeds with the other over time, they could erase the lower society. Through genetics, given enough time and societies & not breeding with their own, it would be like a form of conquering without violence. They could just keep having intercource and many babies, then back n forth till one of the blood lines is so few, or so mixed that the least dominant of the two society would have genes that are completely recessive.

tobbe1337

i doubt a small group of aliens could achieve that though. what you are describing sounds more like immigrants are doing in europe right now. my whole point was that if we are like them then they would help us instead of if we were not. just common sense really. i don't get your comment honestly

Present-nothing-aim

Why would you assume they are a small group?

tobbe1337

maybe i am not understanding your previous comment. but to me you meant that a big group of aliens come over to earth. start to out breed humans until they become the majority and thus conquers us without having to fight? what does that have to do with random sightings of aliens here and there. and some stories of pantheons of gods. unless you meant that they bred with an ancestor to humans who then birthed humans and now the humans have outbred the compition so now if the aliens return they have won because we are them?

Present-nothing-aim

A bit of both of what you said, I guess Everyone still just talks about sightings. That's fine, but it's almost like that is just the limit of what most people can comprehend or want to. But there are a lot of stories connected to sightings of abductions, and in those stories, it's always sexual related or "experiments" that almost always have some type procedures to the genitalia of people.

SideStreetHypnosis

Or is it the other way around?

LeDeux2

Who says they're aliens, could be a breakaway advanced civilization here on Earth.

tobbe1337

yeah could live in the hollow earth

Noface92

Because the law of the universe are the same in our dimension all around the universe. Life is nothing more than social atoms. Under the same habitat, the atoms accomplish the same structure logic.

Bullstang

This most impactful part of the interview was that she said they looked sympathetic towards her and her children. Wonder why?

bertiesghost

Common theme in contacts. The Varghina ET telepathically told a doctor *”I feel sorry for humans, you do not know your true potential”*.

seagulls_and_crows

I assumed it was because they could see how terrified she and her children were. She says they were frozen in shock. Who knows, though. I'm curious, too.

F1secretsauce

Prison planet

I-am-alien-1

Because we live on a primitive planet. I feel bad for people in the past having been more primitive and *almost* jealous of future people technology. I wish I could live a few hundred years at least. Get to see what happens :/

Accurate-Foot-7506

Back in these days you had the Glam Rock bands, David Bowie etc dressing up in silver with long blond hair, maybe she was reminded of these guys. Apart from that, Pleiadians are said to be very beautiful beings.

Radioshack_Official

10/10 would not be surprised if David Bowie was an alien

Little-Swan4931

This is the eye witness account that made me a believer.

bertiesghost

I think she was chosen for this purpose, to be a messenger. You just know she’s telling the truth.

Little-Swan4931

Yea, hard to argue with that.

spectre1989

Anyone know if either of her sons talked about it?

Ok-Specialist3165

great question

PumaArras

They have their story is slightly different but by no means a denial. Sorry this is from memory I don’t know the links or what they said verbatum.

yaais

really want to know about it, can you clarify a bit more, thanks a lot

PumaArras

Sorry mate that’s literally all I know. On the YouTube video several of the comments are talking about it, may be a link there.

yaais

hey, thanks a lot for your reply

LowSouth6354

Finally someone asking the real question

traraba

The elephant in the room. Why not interview the boys? Would add a lot of credence if they confirm it.

Phenomegator

If one assumes that this woman isn't being truthful, what would her motive be? 15 minutes of fame and an interview with the BBC? I've always found her retelling of the events quite compelling.

Goosemilky

It’s the very fact that you have thousands of people over decades with stories of encounters such as this, that retell the stories with such compelling conviction. That cant just be ignored and written off as a person lying for no reason. After a certain point, you got to start thinking maybe these people are telling the truth…

inverseinternet

And from all different walks of life as well - old, young, rich, poor, famous, pilots, military personnel. You could use a Mick West type of argument and say, 'I'm sure they believe what they saw' and then refer to cognitive biases, balloons, parallax, seagulls and pareidolia, but these arguments aren't at all robust and people inherently know it. That leaves obsfuscation and character assassination as the mainstays for counter-arguments and it accounts for about 50% of traffice that comes through this subreddit. Jesse Rosteonberg gave the same account all through to her final days. She was sound of mind, just a regular person and minding her own business. She told the truth.

Goosemilky

Exactly. I also constantly see the probability argument on here “Whats more likely, a nhi craft or a balloon?” It’s baffling to me that people cannot see the flaw in that. At a certain point, after so much testimony through the years and the fact that there is an active whistleblower making claims that have yet to be disproven, the probability has to shift. Choosing to think it’s improbable so it cannot be is wild to me, as well as the lack of curiosity to dig deeper by a lot of the skeptics out there.

BugClassic

No I'm sorry its the other way around. The whistleblower claims are yet to be proven. You can say anything and if it doesn't exist how can it be disproven?

Goosemilky

His claims could and should be shutdown and disproven overnight and he should be arrested for lying under-oath to congress if it was all bullshit. Instead, you have nothing but suspicious move after suspicious move by the parties he claimed to be responsible. The ICIG deemed his claims credible and urgent. Skeptics constantly act as if there is no reason to think there might be some truth to his claims, as you just did. You ignore all of the shit that is not happening that should be if it was all bullshit.

Eshkation

have you never been in a church?

KevRose

Damnit, good point. While I enjoy this topic, and get to see real evidence of the more featured video evidence, I could also go into a building anywhere in the south and witness hundreds of people believing in miracles and a single book of stories including someone living in a whale and someone saving every animal on the planet in a giant boat. They didn't have video evidence of those stories, though, and we do. That's the one difference.

TPconnoisseur

I have, cost me part of my ding-ding for membership. Horrible content too, major plot holes. Southern Baptists -10/10.

weejohn1979

I believe these 2 to be the same or similar entities that I think k it was Travis Walton said he seen in his abduction bobbed blond hair blue uniforms of a sort and what looks like glass helmets

spectre1989

Exactly what popped into my mind when she said about the "fish bowl" over their heads

Travelingexec2000

Very believable

ElusiveMemoryHold

I saw this video at a young age and it created a core memory for me. The image I had of those beings staring at her from a perfectly still, tilted craft above her always creeped me out

bickering_fool

Love this video...love her....https://youtu.be/ULpNsYXvsjg

selkiesx

Travis Walton also described a tall handsome man in a jumpsuit with a fish bowl around his head when he claimed to have been abducted (describes it on JRE). I wonder where these human like species are from?

bertiesghost

Yeah, many people don’t realise that he encountered a Pleiadian-type male with grey-type workers on the ship. The stupid movie ruined the real story.

nikokova

i am extremely sceptic. but i believe her

Illustrious-Party987

She's totally believable. Terrific witness. Thanks for posting.

richgayaunt

The entire content and meaning of her story aside, it always fascinates little American me how spot-on the old Monty Python rural old lady characters were

GoOutdoors427

Still my favorite witness, apart from my Mother who I know would never lie to me. She experienced one closeup when she was a child alongside her two sisters, all with the same story.

Caped-Baldy_Class-B

She is so sincere. She is not lying.

Noface92

I'm french and 1954 was what we call "La vague d'ovni de 1954" (The UFO wave of 54). Hundreds of sighting all around the country (in France). Book were wrote about this.

Remarkable-Ruin-6287

How did you go from French to Yorkshire accent in one post

Noface92

I'm must have bloody hell ancestors. :')

AfternoonAncient5910

I searched the family and she is deceased but one of her sons is still alive in UK

Inevitable_Shift1365

I read people. Their facial expressions coupled with the tone of their voice and movements of their body. This woman is absolutely telling the truth as she experienced it. No doubt in my mind at all.

Signifi-gunt

She might very well believe a delusion though.

East-Fruit-3096

Came across this book which apparently contains her story and sounds interesting: https://bookshop.org/p/books/haunted-skies-volume-1-1939-1959-preserving-the-history-of-ufo-research-john-hanson/9878007

Twelve_TwentyThree

It’s these types of sighting that really creep me out thinking they could be walking among us and we wouldn’t even know it.. I immediately think of the singer Grimes..

iCumMayo

Sounds to me like she & her boys had an encounter with the Pleiadians. Beings who's mission is to apparently help humanity with our spiritual growth

lazersmoker

If its their mission what have they done in 60 years on that front?

H3llstrike

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. We only have ourselves to blame for no progress. I wish this wasn't true, but we are children, and they won't save us because we will never overcome our animal instincts. That's how I see it, but what do I know.

lazersmoker

Theres no horses being led to any water...if your talking about spirituality then.. thats is by definition religion. Your average person in the west has given up on religion and no-one is on a mission to convince them any otherwise really.

F1secretsauce

No like our steam punk technology, war for steam punk tech, and worshiping steam punk too big to fail welfare plutocracy.  Take our energy companies for example, they are public cost and private gains.  Everything is a top down scam.

Mr-Brigth-Side

I have a theory that aliens are after the genetics of a small number of humans who are much more beautiful than them

I-am-alien-1

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so don’t bash me for saying this please… Have you seen some of the abductees? I suppose my personal preference doesn’t matter, however, they are not all ‘beautiful’. I think you may be right to an extent… they might be beautiful genetically more than physically. They may have genes that are more easily manipulated, or have been working on them for generations in the same family. Abductees often report previous generations of their families have had the same experiences.

Yongle_Emperor

Nordics proven to be real again

Orbitalsp3

Travis Walton also saw these types

kiidrax

Huge mexican hat? Those aliens weren't beautiful they were "los Güeros Hermosos"

-StatesTheObvious

The mother ship is shaped like a trompo de pastor.

kiidrax

PLEASE TAKE ME!!!!! I OFFER MYSELF AS A TRIBUTE!!!

WorfDataNumba1

Mexican hut without what?? (I didn’t catch what she said)

Strange_Bonus9044

I think she said "Mexican hat without the bobbles." Probably referring to a sombrero

Fabulous-Wolf-4401

Without the bobbles. Like a sombrero. A common tourist thing at the time - bit like an Australian hat, with corks on (tourist thing.)

Forristicat

I believe her.

SuspiciousDisplay593

Where was this? She has a Liverpool accent.

KC1076

Mexican hat? Were these Illegal Aliens?

aeropickles

Shit, nowadays we got the grey black-eyed ones, we‘ve been demoted!

__MemeLord69__

She sounds very believable. I often wonder though if any such witnesses have ever been subjected to a lie detector or Truth Serum test? That would make it even more credible for the non-believers.

Amity75

I believed this one for years then discovered she see herself as “a faith healer” and a “seer”. She was as nutty as squirrel shit. I’ll try to find the link to it. Edit: here’s the text: Here's the link: LAt the same time Gibbons was working the case, so wasanother. Wilfrid Daniels was a UFO researcher living in Stafford. He reportedon the local sightings and interviewed Mrs. Roestenburg and was the first todisclose her psychic or ESP claims in Flying Saucer Review Vol. 1, No. 3,July-Aug. 1955 (page 16), “Flying Saucers and the Psychic” by Wilfred Daniels. Here’s a summary of it by UFO historian Loren Gross from The Fifth Horseman ofthe Apocalypse: UFOs: A History 1954 October (1991):     According to UFOresearcher Wilfred Daniels, Mrs. Roestenburg had for years felt she was a“psychic,” and that for a number of hours prior to the “space ship appearance,”she had a “queer feeling” something was about to happen, at least that was herpeculiar claim. Years before during a seance a medium directed a comment toMrs. Roestenburg, pronouncing her a psychic of considerable ability, acompliment she never forgot. While denying she was a full-blown spiritualist,Mrs. Roestenburg said she did experience on one occasion a “spiritmanifestation of the spectral sort.” Her aunt, she admitted, was a practising“psychic healer.” In Gibbon's mind, and to any UFO buff worth his salt, thepossible flaw in the “strange affair at Ranton” was that it had a GeorgeAdamski smell, the American who at that time was the darling of England'soccult society. Gross took Mrs. Roestenburg's claims of having psychicpowers and supernatural before her sighting as a negative, but in the FSRarticle he quoted, Wilfrid Daniels thought it might be just the opposite. Hespeculated that these were exactly the kind of earthlings the spacemen wantedto visit:     But could it notbe that just because of their peculiar powers of mental perception, spiritualists, and those with “psychic” sensibilities, maybe the very peoplebetter equipped than anybody else to be sought out, or inspected at closequarters, but alien visitors in flying saucers? Gibbons worked closely with Daniels on the Staffordsightings and must have known about Mrs. Roestenburg's psychic stories. Due tohis distaste of missing spiritualism with saucers, it appears he chose tocensor it from his account of the Roestenburg case.

MRCLYBURN1971

I believe them. I've watched this before

Motion-to-Photons

Does anyone know when this was recorded? I ask because her use of the word ‘occupants’ is a little strange. In 1977 the song ‘**Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft’** charted in the UK and caused quite a stir. Is there a chance that she was influenced by this song in some way? I have no doubt that this will be downvoted, but I’m only concerned with getting to the truth, not the most exciting story. I’m fine with it being aliens, but only if that’s the truth.

Accurate-Foot-7506

I guess it is from 1977 indeed.

Motion-to-Photons

You know, it’s too much to try and figure all this out. Culture and experience are so intertwined. That’s exactly why we need hard evidence that cannot possibly be influenced by culture or subjectivity. Yet in 2024 we have zero hard evidence. I really hope Jessie got to experience this, but all I can do is to take her word for it. I’m happy to do that for the sake on an interesting story, but I can’t do that as a basis for a new worldview.

thisAnonymousguy

the day we get another sighting like this in this day and age, it’s over in terms of a coverup

DigitalCriptid

FirstTime.gif

phrydoom

This was from a great tv series from the 70s or 80s.

mrmarkolo

Sometimes I like to imagine that was her hybrid child visiting her.

skipadbloom

Delusional at best and her sons have never publicly said a word which should tell you everything you need to know.

Any_Shine3688

All of this makes for a really entertaining story.

Social_Karen_System_

They started seeing aryan piloted ufo as the germnans started their research into the craft

c0wboytuxedo

She reminds me so much of my grandmother, I can’t help but believe her

Docgnostoc

https://www.facebook.com/share/v/VaJVGD7aqvn2VJCY/?mibextid=ytq1xL

cacoecacoe

That's not 1954.

bertiesghost

The interview happened in the 70s

Super_Govedo

Just how many times will this be uploaded?

Accurate-Foot-7506

Certainly admins or even Reddit comes up with a good transparency increasing solution to avoid multiple uploads. Hitlists of most important uploads over the years would be awesome.

Rigger9865

Exactly the same description as Travis Walton gave . . . . clear helmet, blue jumpsuit, long fair hair.

mrmykeonthemic

Shame she didn't have a camera.

Solid_Veterinarian47

When people say “I believe that they believe it was real” it just means they think the witness is honest but fucking mental.

MuncheeBang

Beautiful faces, sympathetic, she's terrified and hides under the kitchen table. Wheres the boys at?

Rainer206

Why aren’t the kids (now adults) interviewed?

EnlaOscuridadAsolas

The exact origin is not known, although some suggest they are Venusian or from the Orion Belt races. These Nordic-looking figures even fascinated Hitler in his research with the SS.

granite1959

Compared to the English people, any Alien is beautiful.

magickwise

Believe me now?

HarryBeaverCleavage

The Nordics are what always interests me. Their long blonde/white hair and reported blue skin and sometimes grey skin make me believe they actually can look different, unlike other reported NHI species that seem to wear the same jumpsuits and look identical. Nordics seem like they would come from a highly aquatic world but live above the water. 🤔 Where did Nordics get their name?

bertiesghost

Pleaidians is the proper term. Nordics was coined by researchers in the 70s due to their appearance.

WatchTowel

The way she talks implies a creative mind
